Is there a way to remove the Volte 4g LTE notification that keeps appearing as three dots on the right.
How did u even get it to turn volte on?

I don't think it's possible without root.

Go-to Settings - Network and Internet - Mobile Network - Volte
I had to finally switch it off from there as there was no option to remove just the notification.

It might be the case as it completely appeared on it's own one day.
What carrier are you on though.

I have been using the global CM10 from November. I try others and keep going back to it. actually just restored to it today, as I realized the new batch of !0.1 does not support wifi tether. Would that be true of this as well? I needs my Barnacle.
Thank you DKStunna!
Good One with minor issues

awesome
Just spent a week in London with this ROM. It worked perfectly for me with a Pay-as-you-go Vodafone SIM.
The only issue I had was with Vodafone. Their online system does not take US credit cards to pay for SIM plans, so I had to buy a voucher at a Vodafone store (credit card accepted for this type of transaction) and then apply the voucher to a SIM plan.
Nice ROM, thanks for the GSM add.

M8 doesn't have GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto. Instead, there are 3 options:
1: Global mode
2: LTE/CDMA
3:GSM/UMTS
I tried all of them, but still I am getting nothing!

Hi ben, I was in your shoes just a few days ago and I too grew very frustrated. I now have LTE working just fine. First off what you should know is that the screen where yo select networks is not going to give you that LTE option and the antenna icon will read 4G not LTE.
That being said. Are you sure you have the proper apn setting selected to get LTE? If it is, all you need to do is use that code to change the network to LTE /gsm/wcdma auto and that should be sufficient. You will only see 4G when the signal is strong though.
If you have the wrong apn you need to add and select the right one. If you can't unselect default apn delete it. Once you have the combined apn and network selected, you'll be golden.
Good luck.

Apn yes. LTE will never show in the settings menu however you will see the 4G icon on your antenna.

Note that changing the preferred mobile network will require a rooted device.
Anyone know where the setting is to enable it? I hunted and searched, but a test call dropped to HSPA.
Also, anyone having a problem sending text messages while on WiFi?
