Hi guys I have been digging around trying to find some of the specs from the LG G3 camera, I have recently used it to film some footage as part of a VFX project but I need some details about the sensor if anyone has them at hand?
I know the native focal length is 29.00mm But would anyone know the Pixel Aspect when shooting video? Or the filmback details would be a huge help, thankyou!
Aperture size:F2.4
Camera sensor size:1/3.06"
Features:
PopupBack-illuminated sensor (BSI), Autofocus, Touch to focus, Optical image stabilization, Face detection, Smile detection, ISO control, Burst mode, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Panorama, Voice activation

Features: 1/3'' sensor size, simultaneous video and image recording, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR
Video: [email protected], [email protected], optical stabilization, HDR, stereo sound rec., check quality
Secondary: 2.1 MP, [email protected]

Its simple but its buggy
Get "Snap Camera" Trial on Google Play and do this steps:
1. Open Snap Camera Settings
2 .Go to "Other" and enable "Show Advanced Settings"
3. Go to "Video" and Select 720p -> enable "Video Frame Rate 60" -> enable "Use HFR Frame Rate"
4. Press Rec then first it fails but the camera driver enables from slow motion video
5. Dont Exit the app and go "Video" and disable "Use HFR Frame Rate"
6. Press Rec and it recording at 60fps !!!!!
Remember the video quality is bad because it uses slow motion at 720x480 !!
I don't know if it works with all ROMS but i did this with [ROM][TW][4.4.4][08.05.16][v5] HYPER-ROM
If you dont believe me i recording with mirror to see my galaxy s3

Bro I swear to god you're some unsung hero! I can't believe no one replied to you in 4 years, this is genius! I've tried different camera apps over the years and this trick is the only one giving me actual smooth video via my crappy Redmi 4 Pro camera! Now, even though the video is super smooth to me (and I have a taste for watching 60fps sports) the mediainfo report on it still says 30fps:

I also checked with MPC-HC pressing Ctrl+J to constantly monitor changes in fps and it always stays around 30fps. I just don't understand this because video is also progressive (interlacing might have explained doubled fps, but it's not the case). Anyway, this is just for the record and really doesn't matter because the video looks very good. The funny thing is that if I record 720p video @30fps with the default camera app, the video turns out to be around 15fps and looks like absolute crap, so again thanks a lot homie!
Hello,
Is there any available root method and/or custom firmware for ZTE AXON 7 MAX (C2017) Chinese?
I have bought the above and already have search almost everything about the above but nothing to find.
The chinese seller looks like he knows the method but does not want to share anyting.
My C2017 is already unlocked with multilanguage and google play with android V6.0.1 (ZTE_C2017V2.0.0B07) but is unrooted. The official rom has only chinese and english without google play.
I found a thread about the same mobile posted here at the first days of January with negative answer but there are almost 3 months till then and I wonder if there is anything new about it.
I tried every automatic methods with apks or through pc and none of them manage to root the mobile (iroot, kingoroot, superuser etc)
Thank you in advance
My congrats, bro! I've got the same device today
Still there's no solution but I plan to try tools for Axon 7 / Pro.
Or we need to wait some more...
Hello guys,
Sorry for being off topic. But...
Please made the review of the phone. Probably most reason why lack of information is because nobody knows this phone. Internet is empty on this matter - no owner reviews, just reports from expos.
What is the screen quality? Is it visible in sunny days? Image is sharp or parallax layer causing distortions?
Thanks for your answers here.
ZTE AXON 7 MAX (C2017) Discription
Hello there,
In a matter of fact you are right, there is no user discription and reviews, but just sellers or ZTE review.
About the most considering thing the someone would buy this device would be the 3D screen and camera.
So I'm warning first the negatives from my prospect. These are what I don't like and disapointed me and they may not fit other's people opinion.
There are 2 back cameras, the primary camera and the secondary camera in about 1cm distance from primary camera but I have not any details of the secondary. This one is not capture images. It is not used for the second sbs 3d photo as it not capture a visible image. It is like a depth viewer so 3D photos are actually not stereoscopic 3D by default but an software processed 2D to 3D photo of what primary camera saw and what secondary felt. So there are fails on some points of 3D that looks weird or may give a pain to your eyes. You can give a worse result if you hide the secondary camera with your finger, you can still see and capture a complete photo but the 3D result will be abolutelly random. Also the 3D video is not stable at all, it mentions (lab) on selection and definitely you cannot enjoy 3D at all, its awfull and it makes you dizzy from the first 10 seconds (even I get dizzy that I like 3D and I’m used to 3D devices and views).
Also the 3D photos are saved *.jpg and not as *.jps or *.mpo like all other stereoscopic products. its is still sbs 3D and rename it from *.jpg to *.jps will work but this is not convinient.
Also it is not recognize the above file extentions to its internal viewer so you have to install a third party image viewer like sView or Stereoscope. Also I have not found any apk that can capture 3D photos simulateusly, you can only use the preinstalled one.
So I now use this phone in 2D photo shooting.
About the screen is 6" fullHD with very nice colors and strong backlight that make it easy to use it in sunny days.
BUT
the 3D parralax layer is clearly visible (there is a 3D software button but is does nothing)
according to the angle in portrait view you can see shadowed areas on screen...
In landscape view, if you are watching a 3D image or a 3D movie its outstanding and very sharp and clear BUT again if you are watching something in 2D you can see it distorting because of parralax layers. this is more annoying with text (the letters are kind of weird but you can read it not that easily) and with high contrast symbols etc. its like you see pixels. It is not that annoying with 2D images and 2D movies which have smoother contrast, you can still see the distortion but you'll get use to it.
I had a LG optimus 3D (P920) before this one and there was no parralax layer visible at all... and the photos where pure stereoscopic 3D.
One possitive thing about this phone is that it has a very low battery consuption and it may last 4-5 days with normal use with wifi always open.
It has good sound
It has USB-C

I tried every automatic methods with apks or through pc and none of them manage to root the mobile (iroot, kingoroot, superuser etc)
Thank you in advance

Hi i'm just helping a friend who just bought this phone (ZTE AXON 7 MAX) and he bring it to some repair stores but they couldn't fix the Gapps, so he cant acces his contacs, calendar, maps, etc...
In order to install the Gapps the only thing i have to do is root it, am i right?
But nothing seems to works as our friend at the top posted.
So if any of you did learn how to fix this issue, and can share the solution, it will be very apreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Has anyone been able to unlock the bootloader and subsequently root? I changed my baseband to USA BAND via *#*#4636#*#* and lost 2g/3g signal on sim 2 ( only connects to 4G)

Why do you ask? I thought you know the answer, if you've got the tool working.
As for baseband, you mustn't change it until you know which radio channels your network operator is using.

The tool is for axon 7 mine is axon 7 max. Am trying to restore 2G and 3G Sim one after setting USA band. I know the radio channels
800mhz B20, 1800 mhz B3 and 700mhz B28.

of course. that's why you (and me) need bootloader image for 7 max, not just 7.

i mean, you need to use baseband with active channels which are the same as
the channels of your service provider.
btw, why did you need to change baseband? did you have network problems
or whatever?

Dear friend,
3D screen cannot be disabled as it is an extra layer above the lcd screen. The 3D button only enable/disable the SBS 3D for youtube SBS videos and just that. You have to get used by the distortion of the screen by the time by the portrait mode, though in landscape you may have some difficulties viewing and read on 2D

Hello Moto G40/60 Users
Being a moto g40 user, I know stock camera photography sucks
I am testing different GCAM MODS for moto g40 for a couple of weeks
I have found some of the best gcams working for the device currently
It's surprising that all the features gcam are working in moto g40 considering it launched just a month ago
enough talking
the gcams are listed below
1) NIKITA'S 7.4. v2.0 ( for normal use )
although there is an 8.1 version available,7.4 v2.0 is very stable comparatively
link to download https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1497/
install any of the 4 gcam
I have installed 7.4 v2.0 Samsung,
configs 'not available for now
what's working? (almost everything)
EXCEPT: Timelapse, Ultrawide angle videos
-PRIMARY 64 MP CAMERA - HDR +enhanced, PORTRAIT MODE, NIGHT SIGHT, ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO 1080P 30/60 FPS, 4K 30 fps
slow-mo at 1/4x and 1/8 x works very well with autofocus unlike stock cam and other gcam
-ULTRAWIDE 8MP HDR +enhanced, NIGHT SIGHT, ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY (videos not working)
NOTE; you have to tweak some settings before using
2) BSG's mgc 8.1
MGC 8.1.101 A9 GVx MGC Libs
link here: https://1-dontsharethislink.celsoazevedo.com/file/filesc/MGC_8.1.101_A9_GVx_MGC_libs.apk
everything is working
just like Nikita 7.4
for normal photography
not for Videography
3) SANITY poco Sv10.6.2b
link: https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/PocoSv10.6.2b.apk
configs 'not available' for now
Main highlighting feature: VIDEOGRAPHY
MAIN 64 mp: 1080p 30/60, 4k 30 All with EIS
ULYTRAWIDE 8mp: 1080p30 all with EIS
and everything else is working except slow-mo
NOTES: many tweaks needed before using
4) CamStellar_Greatness.Build_4
link : https://1-dontsharethislink.celsoazevedo.com/file/filesc/CamStellar_Greatness.Build_4.apk
Main highlighting feature
BEST FOR NIGHT SIGHT AND ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY with the ultrawide and main camera
night sight portraits also work
BUGS: vidoes not wokring ,
NOTE: tons of settings and tweaks needed before use
At first, you might get dark images
then you need to change dozen of settings
5) trCamera_Xmas_Release
link: https://1-dontsharethislink.celsoazevedo.com/file/filesc/trCamera_Xmas_Release-User_X_Libs.apk
Main highlighting feature: for pro users who want to use pro mode and advanced feature in gcam
BEST FEATURE: The only gcam that supports [email protected] in ULTRAWIDE cam
again many tweaks needed before use
THANKS
it looks like ultra wide camera isnt working on anyone of the above. I tried all on my new Moto G60. Can u also tell me how to bring the ultra wide angle button in camera interface. Most of these do not have it by default but when you restore an xml config it comes back. On some of them the wide angle photo is clicked but app crashes as soon as the processing starts.
