I have ambient display and Screensaver off on my razer phone, however the screen still seems to turn on randomly when I'm not doing anything. This has me concerned since I had my phone down while sleeping and it was really hot.

1. Go into About found under Settings, click "Build number" 5 times to enable developer mode.
2. Now swipe back into Settings main menu and select Developer Options.
3. Enable Stay awake when charging.
Beware, this doesn't appear to be reversible. Turned it off, screen stays on when charging. Reset the watch, screen stays on. Makes charging much slower.
EDIT: Actually appears to be part of an update, will always stay dimly lit now.

Just found that out myself as well. It's tough when a device is so limited. Not much info out there yet
Wait, its supposed to go off when charging? The damn thing stayed on all night last night for me (first night with it). I thought it was a feature. I took it off several times and it stayed on, even when I pressed the power button. I'd really prefer it not stay on.
I enabled dev options and its not set to stay on. Weird. I'll check again tonight. When i first opened it and did the initial charge it did turn off but I thought maybe since the ambient light sensor saw it was night time it stayed on but goes off during the day. Weird.

I've noticed there's different modes of dim too. Sometimes it's very dim, and at other times it's somewhat dim. Really strange. I turned the watch off and put it on the charger. It automatically turned off, but stayed in a very dim mode compared to how it was when I just put it on the charger without turning it on. I am slightly worried about burn in rather than charging slower. Since I'll be charging overnight.
I wish there was a way to turn it off or at least turn down the brightness, I like my room completely dark.
Hey guys, wanted to see if this was an issue. I'm on the latest lollipop build on my 360 and using a Note 4 with lollipop also. In android wear settings I turn ON ambient mode, it stays on sometimes, but other times it turns completely off, I'd say ambient mode doesn't stay off most of the time. I've verified that on the watch itself it says ambient mode is off. I think I narrowed it down to if the watch is turned up, ambient mode stays on, but when I tilt the watch down the screen completely turns off.
Kind of related also is I turn off tilt to activate in android wear settings, but it still turns the watch on, specifically when ambient mode off doesn't work and the phone is not facing up and turns off. I suppose this is normal behavior and the issue remains with ambient mode not staying off.
Anyone else?

This is normal. In ambient mode, the screen turns off after a short while. It seems a bit random. It's probably cos the battery wouldn't last throughout the day if it stayed on.
I personally find the ambient mode and tilt mode a bit annoying (especially when driving at night) so i just have them both switched off and tap the screen or button when i want to see the screen. The screen still lights up when an alert appears.

Android Wear -> Settings -> Moto 360 -> Uncheck Tilt to wake screen option
Both me and my girlfriend bought this wonderful phone, and we are quite happy with it. But she brought something to my attention...
She would very much like to be able to turn off the notifications from waking the screen. Or even better she would like to avoid the notifications she ignore to continuously keep waking the screen. So that new ones wakes it but old ones don't.
Any way of doing g this?
I think you're talking about ambient display. This setting will turn on the screen when a notification is received or when the phone is picked up. To turn it off, go into settings, then display, and then switch of ambient display.
Hi,
For a few weeks my phone has been randomly adjusting my screen brightness even though auto adjustment is turned off. Sometimes auto adjustment even turns itself on as well. It gets quite annoying when I'm browsing my phone at night and it suddenly goes to 100% brighness or the opposite. Has anyone else had this problem? Or know how to fix it?
My LG G5 recently stopped automatically turning the screen off despite the time settings. I first noticed the phone would warm up in my pocket, so I investigated further. Even though I attempted to work-around the issue by disabling lockscreen notifications, the screen will turn itself on whenever I get a notification then never turns off (doesn't even dim itself). First of all, I do not want my screen turning on for notifications, but additionally, I want the screen to timeout on its own. Any suggestions?
