I'm currently on Skydragon. Been using it for about 2 months and it's been great, besides a few negligible graphical glitches.
How's Havoc and Pixel Experience? Are they as stable with great performance and battery life as Skydragon?
Any other recommendations?
Skydragon definitely and I tried them all. Stability, customisation, smooth and no lag it's just butter flying !

so for the usual "this month's" question...i suggest freedom ce and experience os. tho each of them have their own quirk, but it's stable. maybe the issues's with me, but some custom rom really have some daily usage/stability problem like dialer app crashing or alarm not ringing while they list the rom as "bugs free". obviously i have not tried all the roms or done extensive performance testing on them, so this is just my opinion.

I personally don't use OOS since ages because of the terrible android system drain I got back then. Not sure how it is now but I basically fell in love with VertexOS. VertexOS has been the stablest rom I have tried. Even the Testbuilds on the Slack channel are really stable. The dev definitely knows what he is doing and is putting blood sweat and tears into optimizing the rom. if you are looking for a stable minimalistic rom, with great peformance and decent battery life Vertex is the way to go.
You can basically never go wrong with a Sultan rom
I sugest Sultans Nougat build(if you want theming through Substratum use Matssas builds, for me it was just as stable). Other then that AOSPA, although I sugest you wait for the next build since high idle drain is a known issue.
Both Sultan and AOSPA is known for high quality camera by custom rom standard.
Phoenix aex is the best right now. Best performance and battery life without any modifications
Go with ...Phoenix AOSP ?
Yep, Phoenix AES.
Sultanxda lineage OS is working perfectly.
Have tried RR, Phoenix, Freedom and a couple of more.. Loved all of them to be honest.. But felt experience lite was the best of them..
Yup.. Just a personal opinion..
try Paranoid Android, tons of features, great battery life and (ALMOST) bug free and stable, but keep in mind that OxygenOS or OxygenOS based roms have the most stability ...
Using freedom os + bluspark kernel + akt hawkpepper! Moderate use but too much of voice and duo calls! This combo is perfect one
And full day wifi on! Plus when not using wifi, 4G was on!
I've personally been using vertex for a few weeks now with a gapp prop tailored just to my liking for adding in just stuff I want and debloating of things I never use to clear up wasted space and absolutely love the current setup. Minimal, battery friendly, and zero issues with stability.

I know oneplus 3 is a beast and it runs almost every game. But there's also fact about fps, graphical fluidity, smoothness etc.
So in what rom or kernel or rom+kernel you got that buttery smooth gameplay?
I play Vainglory, but in almost all roms I am having little bit graphical lags.
daily use aicp i feel like the best
Recently got a M9. Wanted to know your experience about the most popular rom for the M9. Viper, Leedroid, ICE... How to you like them? What is battery life and performance?
I don't care about customization so as long as a rom is fast, stable, and hold good battery life, I would take it.
Let me know if you could jump in and share your thoughts.
Thanks
p.s. I actually went ahead and flash leedroid 10 v3.9.0 stable.
The room is fluent but I can't get notifications....
Do you have Leedroid tweaks installed?
I'm using ViperOneM9 now, seems stable and good battery.
I'm using ICE M9 5.5.9,and i have tested Viper rom. I prefered ICE with great battery life, smooth fast, and without problems. Ice great rom.
I used viperOne before, great rom with good battery life... I hated all the preloaded apps in the rom
I personally chose viper as the best stock based ROM but I found battery standby by time suffered to extent and i barely managed to get 8 hours out of the battery.
It also has far to many options and tweaks for my liking.
I ran a development stock ROM based on 4.x firmware for a few weeks, and it worked fine.
I'm currently running lineage OS 14.1 after a spell running lineage 15, but although 15 is very good, its not fully stable and has no working camera and does randomly reboot at times.
I'm getting a solid 14 hours stand by on the battery using lineage 14.1.
I just find that the best (for me) at this time.
The bad part of aosp roms is camera and sound.
For me stock nougat is the best.
Hello guys, I have recently fixed my zuk z2, and I am a little behind the new custom roms based on pie. Can anyone help me with some information about them and with a revomandation. I would prefer something stable and fluid.
I'd suggest Arrow pie and aosip pie. They both rock. However aosip has less customisation options available

Bootleggers is also excellent in battery life.. it also has lots of customisations. On the other hand Arrow OS and AEX is also very good... With Arrow OS getting faster updates (weekly)

If you want fluidity and smoothness without any animation shuttering then go with pixysos. Its buttery smooth like I'm using any pixel device. Battery is also decent. I'm in love with pisysos.

Pie rom with good battery life??
Also lineage 16 very good
AEX the best rom for our device no one can beat AEX.
MSM extended with lots of customisation that no one can beat
Try Aosip & Aex 6.x
I personally like Both ROMs are very stable giving great battery backup in compared to all other pie ROMs available right now both gives 5-6 hrs of SOT and They are quite good in pubg but they slightly lag sometimes (I have the stable wifi connection ) but the gaming was decent it gives 3-3.5 hrs of continues gaming ?? With nameless kernel

1. Syberia
2. Carbon Rom
No hassle of custom kernels. 3.5-4 hours SOT with heavy gaming. Inculing pubg and clash Royale.
We have some good Kernels for our Whyred. What is the best in your opinion?
Someone looks for performance, balance and only battery backup. I think we dont have a definitive solution.
I'm looking for performance and I'm currently using Kangaroo 5.1 OC version and I get around 6 hrs of SoT, on 4G all the time and mostly indoor use.

Kangaroox OC is the best Kernel for performance I think.
Overally best is icecold. Also purecaf is a really great kernel
There is no best, best is always relative

Kangaroo non-oc version seems to heat my device up much more than purecaf when using hotspot. So I just use purecaf as it heats less and gives slightly more fluid ui in my experience.
Everyone of them makes camera not to work?
I've tried Illusion, Agni, PureCaf, IceCold, basically all the major kernels with HavocOS and so far the best one I've found is KangarooX. I don't game at all on my phone but I prefer a smooth experience in daily use and KangarooX delivers that. It's the most well balanced kernel I've ever come across. No twiddling or tweaking, it just works fluidly day in, day out. No sudden lags or freezes, apps open almost instantly, animations are fluid and battery backup is pretty amazing. Better than IceCold whilst offering far more stable experience.

Which is better OC or non.OC? And what about latest version 5.3? Is it good enough?

Non OC version and I've been using 5.3 since it came out. Smooth sailing so far.
Kernel for MIUI Pie?
Any kernel suggestion for MIUI Pie (xiaomi.eu)?
