[Q] Sound problem (YouTube etc.)

Hi folks,
Just want to know if someone also have the same problem and if he has succeeded to fix it :
Not always but pretty often when I watching a video on Youtube directly on the web or with the app (WiFi or even 3G) the sound becomes really jerky and the only "solution" to fix it and watch my video in a normal way is to reboot the phone (killing the running tasks has no effect...)
At the beggining I thought it was my headphones but they do work and the MP3 player also works without any problem...

I have exactly the same issue but it happens with music player as well. Especially with beats on. For example if the phone is locked and screen is off, when i press the unlock button it always jerks music that is on the background.
Any ideas? I'm on 4.0.4

youtube video playback problem

Anyone else having playback issues with youtube app ? Problem is the video jerks, stutters, and balck screen while audio continues to play. I have rebooted my modem and router, changed video resolution... but nothing helps..
any more ideas?

I experience the same thing. Videos are jerky, and after a while the video pauses and the sound continues to play. This is a problem that many users are complaining about on google play store. Don't blame your device, it is just the youtube player acting up. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Youtube doesnt work at all on cm, so I just use Viral Pro (Youtube Player) instead. It takes a bit getting used to, but it is the better app IMO.

Video Playback problems

Anybody else experiencing YouTube hanging, Netflix(video stops, audio continues) after around 30 seconds?
If I play a video in the YouTube app or Netflix, the video ALWAYS hangs/freezes. I can get it going again if I move the timeline position cursor, but after another 30 seconds, it freezes again. Any fixes?

Same issue here. Sprint Galaxy Note 4. Netflix freezes around every 1:30 mins and the Audio continues to play. Not sure how to fix either

M8 GPE YouTube brief pause in 5 seconds.

Hi guys. I converted my m8 to gpe this weekend and I noticed a small bug. When I open a video in YouTube app it plays fine but in exact 5 seconds the video freezes for less than a second and then back to normal. Audio keeps playing. And when I reset the seek bar the problem do not repeat. But I I close the video and open again, the same problem will occur, and Is in all videos. Already uninstalled YouTube and updated again and same problem. So I am thinking that is YouTube app or android 5.1. Thanks.
Edit: just tried mobile site and no problems at all.

Music and video stop playing

So my pixel 2 xl will randomly stop playing things such as YouTube videos, Facebook videos and even music on apps such as Pandora and Spotify. It's like I'm pausing the videos/music.. I can click the play button again and it will start playing fine for a minute or so before it does the pause thingy again..
Does anyone have any idea on what could be causing this?

I have the same issue, it just started a few days ago. I called Google support but they were unable to figure it out.

I have the same problem after the Feb Update. Did a clean install so Idk.
