I flashed aicp rom with the correct vendor, radio, bootloader files, gapps, magisk. But when my phone becomes laggy, it reboots. Sorry for my poor English
flash another ROM and find out if it happens again.
if it doesn't help, fastboot the latest firmware, then install twrp and flash roms, this time, try some pie roms
btw, I don't know what's with the people who say "sorry for my bad English" even though what they typed is accurate. annoying

my gnex started to get slow after my first flash, before that my phone was pretty fast, now i get back to stock but the phone it' a lot slower than before.
i flashed with the gnex tool kit, installed a lot of roms and kernels, after my last flash, i wiped dalvik cache, factory reset, and get back to 4.0.2(because stock was superior for me, speed, battery life, stability etc), then i notice the lag. after that when 4.0.4 was released i installed but the lag continue, so what i did bad?.
sorry for my english.
I don't know that you did something wrong.
But stock should NOT be slower.
Try some custom kernels.
its just ur sensation
its weird, maybe was something related to the old toolkit, i just installed the 5.6 ver, put the mod fix, flash and put trinity kernel, the phone is really smooth right now, thx for the replay.
I'm currently running my OP3 on Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 (MM 6.01), the phone has the latest version of TWRP and I've flashed other ROMs in the past without any issue
RR has proven to be quite unstable for me, the system UI keeps crashing, which renders the phone unusable until after a reboot so I wanted to flash Freedom OS as that worked quite well for me previously. When I tried to flash the ROM in TWRP the ROM seemed to flash successfully but when I rebooted, only the boot logo showed and then the screen went black and the phone refused to respond at all for about two hours, after that exactly the same thing happened. I managed to boot into recovery and tried flashing a different ROM but the result was the same every time, the only way to get the phone to work normally was to flash RR again/restore from a Nandroid backup, either way, the result is the same, I'm stuck on an unstable ROM and I don't know why, the last time I flashed these ROMs they worked fine, I followed all of the instructions for flashing said ROMs to the letter, I have the latest version of TWRP, etc, does anyone know what the problem could be?
Have you flashed the latest firmware? If not, I think this is why due to you being on a very old version (6.0.1) and as you are not flashing official OxygenOS you are not getting the newest firmware.
Download and flash the latest firmware here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/radio-modem-collection-flashable-zips-t3468628
Pick the right one for the ROM you are flashing (For Freedom OS installing firmware Open Beta 14 - Firmware + Modem under 7.1.1 should be good.)
Note: After you have flashed the firmware the next time you reboot the phone it will appear to not turn on for a few seconds, this is normal while it updates, don't worry
Let me know if you have any questions
Dear all,
This is first time i start a thread here, so I am sorry if this thread is improper.
I really need help about my Mi6.
I have been using mi6 for more than a month. I use miui eu stable 9.2.4.0 from the begining. I used this phone for normal usage : social media, email, browsing, and sometime for game. Everything was flawless until Last week.
Suddenly I got many error message : goggle play services has stopped, facebook has stopped, gallery has stopped, and many other similar message. And the worst is my Phone always restart randomly.
I have no idea what happened. As long as I remember, I didnt do any peculiar activity. Then i try to flash other ROMs : other miui eu, miuipro, globe rom, stock miui 9 stable and dev, and even lineage os 15.1, I already performed format data, wipe anything everytime I flash any ROM. But the result still same, i still got error message and random restart.
Hopefully there is no problem with the hardware. Because there is no problem when I use twrp for flash, wipe, and other activity. I also already try Stress Test using Antutu and the result was good.
Is there anyone here can help me? I already desperate about this thing
Thanks in advance.
Regards

Already try clean flash using miflash but the problem still exist.
Hello fellow p2 users,
I asked this question once already in the lineage 15.1 thread. However I didn't get any response. At the time my problem regarded only los - at least I thought so. But by now I have tried a ton of roms and the issue keeps popping up with most of them.
When I flash los, liquidRom, crdroid, bootleggers, aospxtended (e.g.) everything works fine except the browser. It keeps failing to establish a connection due to time-out. The thing is, I'm still able to use the phones lte connection via usb-tethering or hotspot. Hence I tried installing alternative browsers like firefox or brave but there I have the same issue.
The problem hasn't been coming up on Msm-Xtended/ cardinal though.
I'm not using gapps and the only thing I flashed alongside those roms is/ was magisk.
Anyone having an idea what might be the cause and solution to this issue? I'd really appreciate it!
cheers

Did you made any changes to your modem partition?
Did you clean wipe every time before installing a new rom?
I never encountered that problem. So it's pretty weird
Yeah, it's weird and it drives me mad. The modem partition is untouched and I clean wiped (almost) every time. I tried to reflash, reboot, clear cache/ dalvik etc.
Have you tried flashing gapps and check if it works or not?
Try vpn and see maybe?
Is there any magisk module installed or try browser without installing magisk maybe?
Never encountered this problem so can't really come up with a strong answer, sry.
Search in Google for " team one rescue firmware Lenovo p2"
There should be a link on androidfilehost.
Download it and extract the folder.
Then use the flash-all-stock.bat to flash the marshmallow firmware on your phone.
Skip through Google login. Login to WiFi , and download and do the ota updates. (Until you reach the newest nougat firmware.)
Then try installing custom ROMs again. It should work now.
Report back for more information or pm, me and we can resolve it via Telegram/WhatsApp. (I can give you faster responses like that)

long story short: flashing rescue firmware lead to signal loss after the first OTA update. Had to restore Modem and EFS from twrp backup, then all the remaining updates worked. Unfortunately, the initial problem couldn't be solved. I'm back where I started. Almost ready to give up.
Thanks again @sm00th4f3
My whyred RN5pro come with global rom miui 10 with android pie I think ?
I unlocked the bootloader and flash PE pie latest version, it required pie firmware, and I flash latest pie firmware from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/whyred/
After usage for half year, I decided to use oreo rom, there's a few reason.
1. I thought always keep update will make it more stable and safe. But I was wrong, the more I update the PE rom, the more unstable it was. After usage a few days, it will freeze and need reboots, sometimes it slow on animation.
2. I need call recorder, but android pie restrict this function.
3. The latest build now come with wifi drop or something, sometimes my internet access is unavailable while my wifi was working fine.
After that I think a lot whether to use pie or oreo, and which custom rom suits my need ?
After reading and searching, and thinking a lot in these 3 days, I come up with a solution.
1. Because the pie keep get updating, it always got bug and some glitches stuff, and I don't have a lot of time and don't like to keep flashing new custom rom, I decided to use Oreo Custom rom final version instead.
2. After a lot of research I come upon RR, PE, havoc OS, liquid remix, lineageos, and decided on lineageos 15.1 final version as my custom rom.
3. Because I don't need a lot customisation, I think lineage os is the best for me, as I only need privacy guard, network traffic indicator, and stability.
So I changed to lineageos 15.1, here is what I do
1. wipe dalvick cache, data , internal storage
2. flash oreo latest firmware V10.3.1.0.OEIMIXM from xiaomi updater site
3. flash lineage-15.1-20180709-UNOFFICIAL-whyred.zip
4. flash magisk 19.3
5. flash opengapps pico
6. flash lazyflasher no verify opt ( ended up failed / error ) Because I read some user getting bootloop caused by encrypted phone or something, I don't know about this part, so I just flash lazyflasher as the instructions said for uncencrypted phone ( ended up failed / error ) ( I don't know if my phone encrypted or not, so I just flash it as additional file)
7. reboot, after getting in, it shows android encrypting, and reboot again, after a few minutes, I thought it stuck on boot loop, but finally it gets into the welcome screen. I tried reboot a few times to see if it stuck or not, but it was working fine. Tested the rom 24 hours by now, and everything seems to work fine.
What I want to ask is,
1. Does my step on changing from pie custom rom to oreo custom rom correct ?
2. lineage-15.1-20180709-UNOFFICIAL-whyred.zip Is this the final version of oreo lineageos 15.1 whyred custom rom ?
3. Sometimes I saw my sim network bar gone completely, but I can make call and check balance, and in the sim status, it show -100dbm and 99 asu. Is this normal ? Or is it because I flash wrong firmware or something ? Or is it caused by my area unstable tower network so the bar completely gone ?
4. Should I use pie or oreo firmware in this custom rom lineageos 15.1 android 8.1 ? Or it's irrelevant because the firmware is flashed by the lineageos custom rom ?
5. Do I need custom kernel ? And what's the best custom kernel for android oreo ?
Other than that, I am satisfied with everything it offers. Thanks for reading and replying.
1. Yes. I've never flashed lazyflasher though.
2. Yes.
3. If you can call, it's probably just very weak signal and the indicator goes off. Otherwise it's a bug in LOS, I doubt the firmware has anything to do with it (I'm on Oreo too).
4. Oreo.
5. No, but it wont hurt you if you try a couple - just make sure they work in Oreo firmware. I'm on KangarooX R4.4 and getting over 10 hours of SOT.
