I need a stable home with the best battery life .
I don't play heavy games. I just play games such as clash of clans.
Please suggest me the best rom for battery
Bettery depends on kernel
Almost Every rom have same battery backup ( about 7-8 hours )
But after change your kernel battery you improve your battery
I am using hovoc os rom and not use any other sperate kernel

I can't start to blame klander but as I can see he just added Klander Version In Settings . Everything else is the same as our build ( maybe he cherrypicked some cm commits )
Fast and stable hmm like our cm12

My CM12 not look anything like yours. Mine handles better and is more stable RAM and I know which is your fault but I'm not going to say.
You're a rookie DEV think you know everything, but you still have much to learn. And put Klander Settings to not copy the ROM me.

User update report:
Battery life: An issue right here. 1-3 percent drops every hour, even when downclocked to 1.7ghz, smartmax_eps, and aggressive multicore power-saving configurations. Not sure if it could be further improved on kernel side or that's just the pure downside of having DT2W.
Another thing: Sometimes when the phone goes into deepsleep, double tap requires more than 2 times taps to wake it up, mostly 4. Stuxnet Reborn seems to have fixed this problem, however, Stuxnet Reborn will get the phone activated when you swipes on the phone screen which brings me back to this kernel.

Why do you sound so familiar to me?? ? Did you create one for MI3 before? If yes.. ohh my. We have the God of all kernels here people! Welcome and thanks Zero! ?
So what are the features of this kernel?
Just installed it an hour ago on my 32gb mi5. My observations:
1. Cores r overclocked to 1.5, 2.0 ghz
2. No thermal control settings r enabled by default and core control is missing. I just enabled Temperature Throttle, just to be on the safe side.
3. I'm on aicp official nightly, and everything is buttery smooth.
4. No extra bells-n-whistles in this kernel.
Need to observe for a few days before concluding.
@op: thank you!
@kairi_zeroblade i made successful OC to this phone, i love also your kernel (back in the LG G2 days), if you want i can share with you the commit ^^ PM me

Hello !
This is a test kernel, if boot i will continue the upstreaming. At the moment i set westwood as default and is upstreamed to 4.9.171 , is compiled with linaro and with some optimization for cortex a-53.
Note : At the moment is not tested so i don't know if works

No. I want to know what is the best custom rom for rn8 pro. Thats why i put question mark. I just put an example. Like ik that corvus is vedy good but idk what version is ok for my phone. I tested v17 and its not that good idk
In theory there's no such thing as "best ROM". People on Telegram gets temporarily banned for asking that stupid question... Unfortunately there's no such rule here
In practice, the "best ROMs" are as many as smartphone users

I think the best ROM that attains the best battery life and performance would be the stock ROM. Custom roms most of the times have bad battery life, compared to stock. There was a test, posted on reddit some months ago, where a rn8 with stock was compared to a rn8 with a custom rom via antutu benchmark. Well, the stock delivered a better performance than the custom rom.
