Did LG do an LG G3 with only 8GB of memory.
I think there is no g3 with 8gb memmory. You shoul take of battery and read imei or with some other method find exact your g3 model and then flash rom for your g3.
Edit: or your model is g3 mini or g3 s model... That is not real lg g3
@Shlong7, people sometimes use memory when referring to RAM or storage. For me it means RAM. If that's what you meant then no, no G3 phones with 8GB. 3GB was the max for the main line of phones (D85x/LS990/VS985).
The D72x series (S, Beat, Vigor) have only 8GB of storage. Maybe that's what you were thinking of?

It is normal for the device or it's suppose to be higher?

Hi i purchased the LG G3 16GB two months ago and i was wondering, how much difference there is between 2gb to 3gb? if i can, shall i dish a bit more money to get the 3gb? i want it to be futurproof as much as possible.

i did, some says it feels much better some says there isn't much difference.
It's the same device, same chipset, the only difference is RAM and storagesize.
Unless you fill up 2GB of RAM (which would be rare), you won't notice any difference.

3GB is very good for heavy multitasting, otherwise you don't feel any difference

I'm surfing on the web and I saw that some smartphone like the LG G3 have different variants. And because when I buy a smartphone, I pay attention to how-many-custom-rom-are-developed-for-it, I asked myself (and now I write this question here bc a lot of people bought the G3) : Does the 2GB Ram model has a different model number and firmware than the 3GB model ?
I would like to say yes, because the drivers for the ram and internal storage can be different if the amount isn't similar on each devices. But, since I own a Oneplus One and not one or two LG G3, I can't be sure. So, let me know if you have the answer

Not in this case. Both 2gb and 3gb of RAM use the same exact drivers, and of share the same model codemane: D855

after making the flash the phone only sees 8 gb of internal memory and 1 of ram in front of 32gb and 2 ram ... solution? LG g3 D722 white
According to http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g3_s-6475.php it has 1/8 GB so why are you thinking it has 2/32 GB ? Its not G3.
