I have many phones that I would be willing to trade for a OnePlus 6t.
Sony XZ1, Heuwei P20 Pro, Smartisan Nut Pro 2, Sharp S3 Mini, Xiaomi MI6, Nubia M2, Vernee M6, and my newest, Nubia X, that I bought instead of the 6t and now regret it. It's an awesome phone, just hard for me to use, being left handed and the way I hold my phones. Every phone listed above are like new and I have all cables and boxes still for them. The only one with a blemish is the Smartisan. It has a crack across the back glass, but I seen replacements on AliExpress...

Compare OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5 - Gadget2buy
The high-end Chinese Smartphone OnePlus 5 was launched in June 2017 and liked by the people but o 21st November 2017 the OnePlus 5 been superseded by the OnePlus 5T. This was the welcome surprise for many as both the phones are in the same range but the 5T has many more features and looks much sleek too. And as the news goes OnePlus 5T won’t be old along with the OnePlus 5, rather it’s going to be sold in its place.
But what exactly are the major differences in both these devices? Let’s take a look and see.
OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5 Design - Gadget2buy
One of the most obvious changes that you see at the first look between the two smartphones is the display. The screen looks dramatically bigger in OnePlus 5T. It measures 6 inches diagonally and is also brighter with punchier colours and higher resolution. The OnePlus 5T has a higher screen to body ratio of around 80 percent and the OnePlus 5 is around 74 percent. The bezels that were prominent in OnePlus 5 is almost gone in 5T. OnePlus 5T is all about the screen. The fingerprint scanner has shifted to the back panel and the hardware capacitive buttons have gone missing. Otherwise, there are no aesthetic differences in terms of build in both the devices. The build quality remains the same as both the phones have a sturdy build with Anodized Aluminium.
The new device is also a bit bigger with a measurement of 156.1x75x7.3mm while the OnePlus 5 is 154.2x74.1x7.25mm.As for now, the OnePlus 5T is available in just one colour- Midnight Black colour while the OnePlus 5 came in Midnight Black, Slate Gray, and Soft Gold colours.
OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5 Display - Gadget2buy
The OnePlus 5T is the first OnePlus smartphone to get a bezel-less display. OnePlus 5T is a 6.01-inch display with 1080P resolution while the OnePlus 5 has a 5.5-inch display. The new device has an 18:9 aspect ratio dominating the front panel as compared to 16:9 aspect ratio of OnePlus 5.The OnePlus 5T, like most new gen smartphones, is all screen.
OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5 Features - Gadget2buy
OnePlus 5T comes with few very interesting and up-to-date features which its predecessor misses out on. Other than the smooth bezel-less experience, the new OnePlus 5T comes with Face Unlock feature which works exactly like the Face ID on the Apple iPhone X.
Hardware: Both the smartphones are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and both come in two variants- a 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant and an 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage option.
Software: OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T both run on latest version of the OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5 Camera - Gadget2buy
OnePlus has upgraded the camera on the 5T. While the camera looks almost the same externally the OnePlus 5 T has got a new telephoto lens in its dual shooter. The new telephoto lens carries exactly similar 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 primary lens with f/1.7 aperture. The secondary lens is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor with a wider aperture whereas in OnePlus 5 there was a 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor.
This change makes the pictures taken in low light too equally sharp. There is also an 'Intelligent Pixel Technology' for capturing more efficient images in low-light situations.
The selfie camera on both the smartphone remains same with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor, also seen on the OnePlus 5.
OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5 Price - Gadget2buy
OnePlus 5T has been launched in India at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant, and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB model. This is exactly the same as OnePlus 5. Right now the OnePlus 5T is available only online, the regular sale of the smartphone will kick start on 28th November 2018.
If you have not yet bought a OnePlus device then definitely you must go for OnePlus 5T, it’s a phone that is worth every penny you spend on fabulous features. The 5T has focused and improved on all the areas OnePlus 5 was lacking on.
It's annoying how they keep calling it bezzel-less. They should call it minimum bezzel or slight bezzel. In fact, the side bezzels are actually slightly bigger than previous gen OnePlus phones. Even the Essential and Mi Mix 2 still have bottom bezzels. I wouldn't even call the iPhone X bezzel-less with that notch. I do like the trend though, and I'm sure we will see a true bezzel-less phone in the not too distant future. I just hope more manufacturers follow Essential's design and offer some smaller all screen phones. It's so much easier to use one handed. My perfect phone? A cross between the Essential phone and OnePlus 5t. Since I can't have that, I had to buy both! Lol
I would like to hear from anyone who has found a stylus that works satisfactorily.
would also like to know, subbed
I use this one and it works very well, even through my tempered glass protector:

I tired a whole bunch of the rubber nubbed ones and always come back to the Adonit. I use it for both my 2XL and Nexus 9.
Bought these a year or so ago for my OnePlus 3, Used them on my OnePlus 3, 3T, iPhone 6s+, iPhone 7+, Galaxy s8+, Galaxy Note 8 and Pixel 2 XL so far. Absolutely phenomenal product for the price.

Hi All
Currently looking for a new phone and MI6 is top of my list, big Xiaomi fan, but my one concern is the weight of the phone. I'm coming from an MI4C which is extremely light (132g) v MI6 (168g). Can anyone comment on the weight of MI6, does it feel quite heavy? Looking at other flagships it seems one of the heaviest out there in that screen size market.
its so heavy, if you have problem with weight of phone, consider...
its super cool phone, everything is fine , but so heavy
You get used to the weight quite quickly. But why now a Mi6? Is it about the size? I would wait for the presentation of the Mi8.
Sorry for OT,
Need advice
What should i choose mi mix 2s or up coming mi 8
At first its seems quite heavy, but you get comfy with it very easy.
I like it when the Phone is a bit heavier so you can feel it in your pocket.
Buy it if you want a new Phone right now then go for it or wait for the Mi 8 for sure.

Hmm yes not sure what to do. Using one handed I'm sure it gets quite heavy after a while.
I'm a big fan of smaller screen sizes, so max would be 5.5in. Seems like MI8 is going to be over 6 in which is way too big for me
you can not compare "old" 5.5in phones with new ones:
6" Mi Mix 2s
Dimensions 150.9 x 74.9 x 8.1 mm (5.94 x 2.95 x 0.32 in)
5,5" Redmi Note 3 Pro
Dimensions 150 x 76 x 8.7 mm (5.91 x 2.99 x 0.34 in)
I have the ceramik version, which is still a a bit heavier than glass-version. but no problem!
If you decide on a mi6, don't buy the ceramic, you will not need it. I bought it since there was almost no price difference to the "standard" version.
What i really like about my Mi6 is the (ultrasonic) Fingerprint/Home button on front - perfect unlocking even with wet fingers.
Maybe Mi8 in-display fingerprint is just as good, we will see.

I've heard that the ultrasonic fingerprint reader on our mi 6 is actually the try-and-see thing before going to in display ultrasonic fp readers. And I remember some guy on miui forums who've tested mi 8 saying it's quite responsive as mi 6's.
It gets a little heavy when I hold it with one hand but mostly when I try to watch something in landscape. No problems when using two hand of course. Holding it in portrait with one hand is fine for as long as I like. I actually love the weight of it most of the time, feels very premium.
The mi6 is a great phone at its price IMO. If you like your devices notchless and can stand losing the headphone jack this is a great option.
It is nice and heavy.
Hello there,
My main phone just broke, and for now I can't afford a recent flagship, although I have two options for my budget. (both the same price)
As the title says, I have to choose between a Huawei P20 PRO [128 gb / 6 gb RAM] and a Samsung Galaxy S9 [Exynos 64 gb/ 4gb RAM] (not plus).
So, I would like to ask you if I can get some guidance, I have read reviews and watched a lot of videos, but I'm still not sure...
I'm interested in a reliable device, a day battery for me is enough, a great all rounder camera in any condition.
I just have some concerns about the Huawei device, no OIS, no headphone jack and no Micro SD slot is a really turn off for me, but I would like to know if the experience overall compensate this (if any of you have switched between these two). For the Samsung, I have seen that night or low light pictures are not as good as the Huawei, and so is the battery (3000 mAh vs 4000 mAh).
Thanks in advance, I would really appreciate your answers.
Hi, just sharing my experience with you about the s9. I have never owned a p 20 pro but before I got my first s9, I did a quick hands on with the p20 pro. I was more swayed by the s9 because at the time, one of the main selling points was the quality of the stereo speakers on the s9, something which was missing on the s8.
I traded in my first s9 after a while and went through a series of phones including the Note 9, s10+ and finally the oneplus 7 pro. A few months back, I came across an s9 demo unit on the cheap. Everything in the box was untouched and after checking for burn in and scratches, I bought it. I used it together with my 7 pro and ultimately decided to sell the 7 pro and keep the s9.
Sounds a bit crazy but the s9 was always at the back of my mind when I was using the other phones. It is a very good all rounder phone. I have no regrets giving up faster charging, a bigger screen, higher refresh rate and faster processor for useful features like notification light, headphone jack, iris scanner and a higher resolution because of its smaller size.
One ui 2.1 has given it a new lease of life and although there will not be any further android version updates, my only plan is to change the battery when the time comes.
I'd be interested if Samsung did an iPhone SE makeover of the s9. I might consider a new phone then.
I only have the S9 not the P20, but if I were you I'd rather choose the latest phone available out there. since it has more recent software, unlike the S9 which I believe this year is the last year that the phone is still got the software update unless you use the updated custom rom. also there are a lot of phones that has long battery life, higher storage, higher ram, maybe a bit better camera than both s9 and p20, and again more recent software. I think it's more worth it rather than buying a 3 y/o flagship phones.
Also nowadays I feel like running stock firmware on this phone is still reliable, it's not buttery smooth like it used to that's why I'm using the custom rom. other than that, this phone really fits my hand perfectly that's what makes me still considering this phone as my daily driver.
But that's just my opinion tho
I have the p20 pro and I'm thinking to switch to the S9.
I can say that the batterie is awesome on the huawei, I get 7h On Screnn with 25% left.
But i hate the caméra, it makes good images at low light but on daylight it's horrible. Hdr sucks, oversharpening, human faces are Just drawed with oil painting, front caméra is blurry and overexposed. I prefer Xiaomi mi A3 with Gcam. Vidéo is also bad.
Emui 10 is also full of bugs. I regret switching from S8+ and Xiaomi Mi9T to P20 pro.
S8+ was much better and with gcam it's amazing, i'd like to switch to s9 but i think i Will regret it because of the ppor battery life.
Hi everyone.
I am still user Fold 2 from 2 years, before was N9>N20U. Previous year I bought S22U which from 7 months now my girlfriend have and I back to my Fold 2.
I was happy with him but want try again back to Note sereis with S23U.
This is great device, excellent battery life, cameras but from 7 days back to F2 for fun (still good power with S865+ and not bad battery life for me) and back again to S23U is hard. Foldable screen is great feature which I use with pleasure.
S pen use from time to time. I know about s pen and case for it to F4 but I don't have experience with convenience this solution - especially carry in jeans pocket this brick.
Now I don't know what will can do... Wait to 2024 after Fold 5 for good come on the market?
It's hard to me sell only 2 months old S23U.
Or maybe don't tired with s23u and replace it for F4?
F2 cover screen is narrow but F4 have little wider and easy use with one hand.
Maybe is here user above both devices and can advice me?
Wait, just in case.
Depends on your local price? I got the Fold4 three weeks ago. Not because I think it is the better device, but because I got it at 50% the price and I highly doubt the new stuff in Fold5 will make it worth double.

In guarantee shops still almost 3/4 start price for new and 2/3 for outlet so still high in my country like Poland.
My fold 2 2 years ago bought for 55% start price for new.
So thanks for advice. Maybe when I found discount similar to situation with F2, then worth buy it but if not, so easy wait for coming to market F5
Yeah. And perhaps even check out the pixel fold being presented on wednesday? The wider front screen seems nice

Yes, good proposal. Unfortunately Pixel fold mybe is intersting but it's not for me because this is first fold from pixel and like usually will be a lot of bugs in for example construction or software.
I need device for work so need rely in my device in every situation.
Moreover I very like samsung Ui, which is for me very intuitive. I had Pixel 4XL and after almost 2 years I don't get used clean android. My last clean was Nexus 4 (but I liked this) and next only Galaxy Note series for today.
In pixel fold front screen looks nice but interal have very thick frames and not look good.
And what most important in Poland pixel series isn't official accessible so are issues with purchase and respect guarantee.
We had issues with Nexus/Pixels not being here in Denmark officially too, for a very long time.
I have used iPhone since 2008, but have had Samsung mobiles at the same time too, ever since Note 1 was released. Didnt enjoy the tiny 3.5” of the iPhones and that is about the same reason I have a Fold now. Apple is just doing everything they can to save money, by selling antiquated hardware…
At some point Samsung decided that Denmark didnt need the Note series anymore, so I more or less stopped buying from them.
My number one issue with Fold4 is the narrow front screen, and that it for that reason unfolds to a square, instead of landscape. But very nice device, besides from that. And yes, I actually think they made the right choice with the cam underneeth the inner screen. Neither screen nor cam is perfect, but a good compromise.
Think you could be right, that first gen folding from Google could have issues. Good point.
I'll be honest. I had the zfold 4 and then tried out the S23U for a couple months. Only two things I loved were the camera setup and the screen size (quite different than the ZF4 outer screen), but overall, I went back to the ZF4 as it provides a better work tool I got quite used to the form factor and the inside display is a treat to use once you learn all the tricks
Thanks for replies. I like S23U, this is great device but overall is booring.
Fold series give me more fun and look difference compare to other devices.
Now I looking for good pricing F4 and still wait for F5.
I need for daily use 2 simcard and sometimes swap my private simcard to old F2 which still have.
I consider buy F3 because is for good price in my country but shapes, especially front screen are very similar to my F2. Only difference is S Pen support and this is too little
I have a F4. Im with Fold since F2. Meanwhile I have tried a couple of ..Pro and ...Ultra devices but like you said all they become boring to me for a couple of days in use. And more important - super uncomfortable because I carry my phone always in the pants pocket. For me the comfort of use is more important than all. Fold is a Transformer. Stage 1 - one hand super friendly. Stage 2 - mutimedia and multitasking beast like no other. I think I cant go back to a bar phone. I have tried with the bests on the market but no chance.
I have both the ZF4 and S23U. The S23U is totally boring next to the ZF4 other than the cameras (which is the only reason I have/keep the S23U). Also, the S23U is super wide and not comfortable to hold (if you have "normal" hands). Even though the S23U has the SD 8 Gen 2, you don't really notice the difference in day to day use. So, ZF4 remains my daily driver, I'm not planning to get the ZF5. If you can swing it, you'll probably be able to trade the S23U for a ZF5 at a great value. Otherwise, get a deeply discounted ZF4 and sell your S23U.
