Hello, I am completely new to rooting so hear me out.
I just bought the galaxy note and its rooted 4.3.
I am planning to flash the Hyperdrive KK RLS3.1 rom. Do i have to first flash my device to 4.4.2 before I can flash the custom rom?
Thanks!
Nope. Just flash custom recovery and install rom

You need to flash 4.4 stock rom to get the latest 4.4 kk bootloader first then re-root then flash twrp then flash Hyperdrive rom. You could flash twrp but without let it bootup, boot back to twrp and flash Hyperdrive rom since Hyperdrive rom is already rooted.
I didn't need to get the latest 4.4 bootloader. I went straight from 4.3 stock to hyperdrive rom
Hi all. I just upgraded to the 4.20.531.4 Stock. Im rooted with s-ON. What are my custom rom options that match my current firmware? would like to install a custom rom without having to flash firmware. Any suggestions?
TMO M8
TWRP
Was looking but couldn't find, i would like to return to stock rooted rom, without flashing stock then root it all over again, does anyone have link for prerooted stock rom?
Thank you.
There's isn't any build of stock rom with root.
Flashing root takes just take a minute or two so there's no point in making a rooted stock build.
I have bootloader unlocked, S-ON, run custom Nougat right now but I want to upgrade to some of the custom Oreo or Pie ROMS.
How can I do that???
Flashing through TWRP (latest version) just gives me a boot-loop.

upgrade your firmware to Oreo first.
How?
To recap, how to flash Oreo firmware if I am on custom Nougat ROM and have S-ON?
Hi,
Almost a year ago I successfully rooted my A3 2017 with Android 8.0 using Magisk, since then a few more versions of the official Samsung ROM have been released. I wouldn't mind updating my ROM to get the security updates and bug fixes but I don't wanna lose my root.
How can I accomplish this?
Thanks!
Download the ROM from sammobile.com (or any other site) and flash it in Odin. Then flash TWRP and install Magisk again.
Just read through some guides
