Need help rooting my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0

Hey Guys,
I am having trouble figuring out if it is possible to root my Tab 3 7.0 and install CyanogenMod.
I am familiar with rooting/installing rooms as I have my S3 rooted but I merely followed a well put together by some smart ass dude .... hehe
I cant seem to find any easy step by step guides here. If there are any can someone post them or give me some information on how to get this done. Thanks.

Model Number: SM-T210R (Canadian)
Android Version: 4.1.2

I used the Kingo Root App for my SM-T217S Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it worked to perfection. I don't see why it wouldn't work for yours as well. It is really simple to do as well, only takes about five minutes. Hope this helps.

So you have rooted your S3, so I think you have expierence with Odin how to root and flash ROMs.
At the moment we have no CM ROMs, these are still under develepment.
Take a look to general threats , here you will find the first thread Videos, Guide for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 by Tomsgt with all links.
Also you find a lot of threats for prerootet Stock Roms ore modifyed Stocktroms with deleted bloatware apps, so your Tab runs smooth without lags and stable, also I prefers to install the blackhawk kernel, with kernel is the Kernel panic mode fixed.

[Q] How to Develop a Custom Rom?

Hello,
I have a Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520) & I saw that there were no custom roms for it currently. So, I thought it would be fun to see if I could make my own custom rom for it. I was wondering where to start, if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome! Also, i'm looking to try to get a clean kitkat rom (like cyanogenmod) or edit my stock rom and remove some apps and change settings.
Lastly, I was reading that there is a problem developing for exynos 5 or something like that. Can someone explain on that to me.

How do you extract/decrypt the official firmware?
Followed some of the tutorials on the forum but didn't work for our sm-t520...

I could really be without touchwiz.... Aosp or something, but I will probably just sell it and buy a new nexus 10 / 8, when they are available. The resolution was nice on this though.

Alright so i'm trying to make a stock unbloated rom for the sm-t520. However, I can't figure out how to get a custom recovery for this device. Anyone have any advice?

[Q] help me choose a ROM

I'm pretty new to all of this and still a bit tentative. I have searched quite a bit and learned a lot but I still generally feel overwhelmed when I try to read threads specific to certain ROMS.
I recently got a Tab 3.7 (SM-T210R) and have managed to root it and install PhilzTouch.
I also installed RocketTab Lite which was good but I realise what I want is all the Samsung stuff gone, so it feels more like a simple android device.
So, I'm trying to figure out what ROM would suit me best.
Also, it is only 8GB and even with almost no apps (or media) it seems to be almost a third full. So far I haven't got Link2SD to work. Will another ROM allow me to move apps to the SD like I could in my phone?
Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

Thanks. Can you flash a Kit Kat ROM on a tab that has jellybean, or do you have to upgrade first?
Also, that says it is for a Tab 3.10, would it work with the Tab 3.7?

CAGrom is made only for the Tab 3 10. You can find roms for the 7 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/development-7
I don't know anything about the roms for that device. though, XDA generally prohibits suggestions as it is all about experiencing and experimenting finding the right fit that you want. I suggest looking at the roms at the link above and see if any might interest you there. good luck.

Is is possible to transform the P5210 to a Tab4?
I mean the flashing of the official firmware
The screensize is not bigger and not smaller

I think not possible, because P5210 is Intel Atom (x86) basis and Tab 4 is Qualcomm Snapdragon (ARMv7) basis. So firmwares of these are not compatible with each other. Maybe there could be "Tab 4-alike" custom firmware for P5210, but it needs someone to develop it.

Is there a lollipop rom for the tab3? And when not can i customize the system (notificationbar + the apps)?

I haven't heard of any 5.0 lollipop roms for Tab 3 yet =/ Maybe you could try this, it not lollipop, but it is lollipop flavoured: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/development-10/cagrom-t2844872

The rom is really nice! Have it SPen and sidesync support? And also the GApps?

the notificationcenter is bad and also the settings i would like it like the tab 4t

Glad that it was good I don't know about details of that Rom, maybe you should post question to Rom thread. I have P5220, so I've looked that rom but likely it won't work on my Tab3...so I havent been able to try it (still waiting for good custom Rom for P5220 ).

I think you should install a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM) and then install the zip via that custom recovery. I suggest you to read instructions on GAGRom thread and homepage.

Ahh okay, I guess the standard lineage then if they have anything for Note2. Although have not checked if there exist anything for note 2 :/ It is an old mobile for sure.

Did you end up finding a stable ROM for Note II? How did it go? I'm in the same boat.
