H-ROM G6 PORT NOUGAT v1.0
Full UX6 ported from lastest G6 open kdz V10T

KNOWN BUGS
G6 camera has some small glitches. Read second post
Miracast FC. Fix here
GlanceView doesn't work anymore
Small bug is that you have to select swipe animation at first in settings to heard unlock sound (due to set phone as G4)
Some G6 features like Always On, Face Recognition or Reader Mode are impossible here due to kernel/libs limitation

I recommend to flash first lastest MM kdz (20p) and then lastest TWRP
In lastest TWRP:

First boot will take much time, have patience!

ABOUT CAMERA
G6 camera is not perfect in our system. I haven't been able to fix some of the bugs that it has:
Taking RAW pictures will freeze camera and you will have to reboot device. There are two solutions:
First is to select RAW picture saving option, and then MINIMIZE camera app or just push recents button and return back. Camera will take RAW pictures perfectly, but if you change camera mode, and return to manual mode and RAW picture saving, then you have to repeat the method.
Second is to flash original G4 Nougat camera. This flash WON'T REPLACE G6 camera. Just will add it and you will be able to take RAW pictures with it.
Adding signature doesn't work (but yes in gallery app). I asked for some files required for it in G6 forum but nobody helped me.
Camera effects only are available in video recording. For pictures is integrated in G6 main camera lib file, so it never will work.

First try at this new H-Rom G6 Port... and SUCCESS !
- Nandroid backup using TWRP of my v20p H-Rom.
- Then, full wipes in TWRP (dalvik/art, system, data, and cache).
- After, flashing the N-Bootloader, the H-rom G6 port, and the SuperSU bin.
- A long time rebooting (including the "lock bootloader" msg ), and then, android starts.
You know what ? No data problem !!! (I'm sure that my data problems were the modemst1 and modemst2 which are not present in this H-rom G6 port).
The only thing missing for me is the H-Setting app (maybe in a future release ?)

Yes, H-Settings would be a very nice addon.... Maybe in future, since it requires a very hard work

It's too soon to ask, you need to wait at least 2 cycles to let the battery and the kernel stabilize.
Anyways, I think it will be the same as MM if not a little bit better thanks to the improvements in Android N

Thank you for G6 port <3 so far still trying lovely stock firmware, when I'm done with it this one is definitely next on flashing list does it support G6 themes or V20 themes like stock?

I think the V10 camera port is much better. It is essential the G4 camera but with RAW video capabilities. If installed correctly to the system, there are no drawbacks or problems at all.

I haven't tried it but the v10 has nougat so it sounds like a better option for a port to the g4 considering the successful port in MM.

we can now port nougat v10 camera. even better. but give us time we can't focus on everything. right now only 3 active devs !
and 2 more are on vacation.

it may work also for other phones with some modding.
this one works only on Fulmics ROM for G6.

I added a check in code to let it start only on Fulmics ROM.
but as there are many people interested, #2 now is compatible with all rooted LG G6.

Copy pasted the app, cleared camera data, and modified the original g5 fulmics camera config XML while comparing it to the one from xpirit. Manual mods lack the record/shutter button,food mode obviously doesn't work,the grid like mods work,the rest are a bit buggy. But hey,at least it works partly lol.

Crashes for me on us997 AquariOS

Only LG can answer this question with all certainty. If LG decides to port some of V30's camera features to G6 which I doubt it will, it won't be anytime soon. Don't expect cine video, cinelog like features to make it to G6. Those features will be kept exclusive for V30.

Yes it is working but not thru the stock camera only with camu which comes pre installed btw and if u no how to fix the sound issue in xosp plzzzz share it. It would be great.

Good job on porting this ROM to Moto E3 Power @akash_eric . Do keep the fixes and updates rolling and please figure out a way to make the video recording work as you did in the Vibe UI port which works epic as well. I'll be trying this ROM out in a while.
One more thing, has the Google Account synchronization been fixed in this ROM? It was a new problem that came up recently which I experienced in many other ROMs as well.

Compare lib/hw audio files.. replace port files with stock.. but dont change name.. file name should be same as in port rom

Thanks. I did add the Google Account in this, but now I don't see how I should get my google saved contacts to show up. I installed the Contact Sync app that you've given and also installed the Google Contacts app but the contacts still don't show up. The native Contacts application cannot import contacts from my account because the native Mail app crashes whenever we try to add a new account. Thanks in advance for any help and fix for this.

Hotspot can turn on and view on other devices...but others can't use my hotspot. When try to connect.It refused.

Google camera mod?

Hey guys, I just wanted to know does Z2 play supports Google camera with portrait mode?
I tried few apks but not even one is getting installed.

I'm using GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk. Can't post the link to the site as I'm new here and the forum won't let me, but you should be able to find it by the filename.
It's based on Google Camera 5.1.018. I haven't had any luck getting newer versions to install, but that one works fine, including Portrait mode, Lens Blur and Photosphere. I had to disable video stabilisation, otherwise video recording would crash. If front camera gives a green tint, there's a setting to fix that in Advanced -> Fix Camera API2.

Do you have an older version of Google Camera installed? If so, try uninstalling it first. Also, are you on Oreo? Many GCam ports seem to require at least Oreo and won't work on Nougat.

Gcam mod it doesn't work on 32 bits. You need custom 64bit roms

I've only had my Z2P for less than two weeks, but it's been perfectly stable so far. Can't really compare with stock ROM because I flashed it to LOS on day 1.

It seems you are using pie.
If so go to developer options inside gcam 5.1
Tick the option to use Gcam

Man i just gave the cure.. look 2 post before this one
Camera works

That's it! I found that the issue was my fault. camera perfectly working now

Pixel experience offical has a bug on the camera
And i think that this option is ticked by default, tested in aosp extended and bootleggers, both pie roms

Mine was not enabled but after enabling it worked somehow

New camera portrait not working on pixel experience. 9.0

New gcam 5.1 works PERFECT on pixel experience go 9.0. Awesome Job

I would like to install this mod but when I try to I get a message that says cannot install app. I have read thru the config files and installed a file manager but it cannot locate any of the files from the config. I'm on Oreo from the flashable TWRP zip.
