Battery drain after update to 9.0 - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

I'm facing a problem with battery drain on my 5t. After the update to pie I stop using greenify because I saw the new futures of the adaptive battery. But I see 12-15% battery drain with random usage in an hour. Anyone with same problem? Any solution?

When going from Oreo to Pie I recommend doing a clean installation.
I also recommend calibrating the battery, let it have 0% battery, then leave it overnight charging.

Battery drain "rx_wake"?

Just flash ViperX over IceColdJelly and have been experiencing battery drain. So I installed betterbatterystats to see whats been draining and the two biggest battery drains were rx_wake and baseband_xmm_power.
Can anyone interpret what they mean?? And how do I go about fixing them so that they don't drain the battery.
This was the result after I had charged battery to 100% and left it for about 20-30 mins
Thanks in advance!

Battery losses 3% in a 1/2 Hour [B11]

I´m using Greenify, DS Battery Saver and Battery Calibrator but my P6 have still a huge Battery drain with the B11 repack. With Jelly Bean my P6 lost only 1% in a 1 1/2 Hour. It is only 6 Months old. Do it need a new Battery?
Hi there you may want to try reflashing your firmware/rom and see if it helps
Just restart it and recharge it to 100%, if it still drains, do a factory reset and then recharge it again. If it still drains, do a restart again.Maybe it needs a few rechargings to calibrate itself.
See if there's any app that drains the battery too much.

[Q] Android OS Draining Bug

So I was using CM 12 for 3 weeks with no problems. Then suddenly my battery was draining faster than normal 10%/hr and so I checked my battery stats and said Android OS taken more battery life with 40% than my screen with 25%. I went back to my stock backup and I'm still having the same problem with Android OS taking 15% which is better. I did some research and couldn't find a solution but found out that wakelock is making my battery drain and kernel is the problem. So if you guys have any solutions or suggestions, I would happy to try (except factory reset)

ultra power saver mode eating battery

Experiencing strange problem with ultra power saving mode it is eating 5% battery overnight (frm 1am to 7am)in normal mode during day time battery is outstanding
What do the battery stats say about what app is causing the drain?
I read about a bug in Google music causing battery drain when using an Adblocker.
Perhaps battery saver mode triggers the same bug if it blocks internet access?
Look, i was just about to post a new topic about the same problem, heh
5am to 1pm, ultra saving mode activated by the switch on the left side panel.
51% down to 46% overnight. Dont u think it's insane considering it should go 0% ?
Im noot rooted yet or anything. It's my 4th day i use Lenovo P2
It was MM out of the box, right after i powered up my phone OTA asked me to isntal Nougat update, so i did.
Any ideas ? Im also not happy at all with overall baterry life. SOC is stucked at 1.67Ghz. like 85-95% of the time. It doesnt go into deep sleep which affects battery life 7-10h. I had more with Xiaomi phones and their 4100mAh batteries.
there is a drainfix.zip floating around. What does it do...exactly ?

A50 idle battery drain

What really bugs me with the A50 is the battery drain when the device is idle. Even with all radio components switched off and the screen black (like over night) it consumes between 2 and 5% of a full charge within 10 hours. That seems a lot considering the otherwise good battery life of the A50. With that much of a charge I could do a substantial web surfing session or even some GPS navigation with screen at full brightness.
The device is on Oreo and rooted, with as many background processes disabled as possible and still it is draining battery when doing nothing. What the bloat could it be? The battery section in the Settings is not helpful.
I lose 1-2% over night, seems normal.. its probably 1 of your apps
Seems that some background process is draining your battery. BTW why did you downgrade to Oreo when the phone came with Pie out of the box? Just curious.
