Is there any way that allow me to connect my "Touch Pro 2" to a "Nissan Altima 2010" via Bluetooth?
Explanation of my problem:-
1- I try to connect my Touch Pro 2" to the Bluetooth of the "Nissan Altima 2010".
2- the "Touch Pro 2" ask for a pairing password which is by "Nissan Altima 2010" default "1234" as displayed in the information screen of the car.
3- I enter the password"1234".
4- the car information screen displays that "The pairing password was INCORRECT".
is there any UPDATE,PATCH or a program to fix the problem?
Note: after searching the internet for answers , i found that i`m not the only one with this same problem. A lot of people out there have the same problem with their "Touch Pro 2".

PHMRegedit and Total Commander are the 2 free apps that are most widely used here. PHM (1st cab below) is a smoother interface, but only does regediting, TC (2nd cab) is a less polished interface, but also includes advanced file explorer functionality.
PROBLEM NOT SOLVED YET....

Please help ... tweak ,patch ,registry ,program ,anything that works
I have the same issue with my Nissan 370z (No Navi). I'm tried many different ROM's and all the registry tweaks, no luck yet.
The Car manual specifically says you can't change the PIN / Passcode. I
true, i also disabled the PIN code pairing process but when i try to connect it still ask me to enter a PIN code "1234"
when pairing with my G35, which does NOT have stock stereo (it's a pioneer aftermarket stereo I installed specifically for hands-free talking and bluetooth music streaming), I set my phone to discoverable, then start the pairing from the stereo, not the phone... then when the phone asks if I'd like to pair with the stereo, I say yes, then I enter the code (for me, it's 0000).
Hope this helps. - Mark
Contact the manufacturers and they'll tell you exactly what you need to do. One quick phone call or email might save you hours and hours of agrivation.
I´ve got a Miccus Bluebridge and a Nokia Bh-214 and my One X won´t find any of these devices to pair.
I´ve turned on the bluetooth, selected "visible to all nearby bluetooth devices" and then clicked on "search devices". It could not find any of these. I´ve tested with my wife's galaxy s II and it paired up perfectly.
Any thoughts?
Nobody?.........
Did you put the other two devices into paring mode? I haven’t had any issues getting other BT devices show up on One X (so far I have tried 2 headsets and a car audio system).
As far I´m concerned the One X was in pairing mode (I´ve turned on the bluetooth, selected "visible to all nearby bluetooth devices" and then clicked on "search devices") and so were the other devices. Is there anything else I have to do?

Did you put the other devices into pairing mode as well ? Simply turning them ON is not enough, refer to their user manual to see what steps are needed to put them into pairing mode.
If you are sure the headsets are also in pairing mode then I’m out of suggestions. Which ROM are you using?
Everything was in pairing mode.
I´m using the stock rom.
Every time i connect any type of headphones to my phone it says that the type of device connected isnt supported
any thoughts ?
Hey there, I have trouble to pair Bluetooth of pixel 3 XL to my car.
Device info:
64GB pixel 3 XL black, unlock version, no root
Mazda CX-4 ver 2018, original Mazda Connect system, system ver. GW3M-41-018.1-M (this car is only available in China and no oversea edition, so I think this system is also customized.). Support Carplay but not Android auto.
Trouble description:
1. open pixel bluetooth to hold on
2. open Mazda connect bluetooth setting, ready to pair
3. pixel to choose new device, tap 'MAZDA' on screen
4. Mazda connect prompt a note with 6 digit pin and disappear less than 0.5 sec so that I cannot press screen/button to confirm
5. while pixel prompt a modal of same 6 digit pin, after tapping pair. This modal quit and prompt out 'cannot pair' info. After this note disappear, the last modal (seems like it comes first and hide in background) shows 'cannot pair due to wrong pin'
6. After double checking car manual, this device is an old ver bluetooth and its default pin have a limit of 4 digit.
So I cannot go out this bad loop after several trials.
Other phones works well like iphone 6s, huawei etc.
It's so embarrassed to use it in car. Now I use pixel to share wifi to my old ios connecting by carplay, but I still want to make the bluetooth function well and get rid of ios.
I have send feedback to Google but still no response. Is there anyway to fix it?

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to install android auto following this video (youtube tag:
ocOvY6Q7NNo, cannot post url) with MZD-AIO-TI_Setup_2.8.1, but failed... The head unit could read usd, but not auto run the script inside.
Have tried to connect when NFC off, still not work and I will inquiry car supplier later. Also heard someone in buyer group saying he cannot pair it to his BMW too.
It is really tricky and I will keep update this issue.

So sorry you are having issues. I have a Relatively new Kenwood Unit - I forget the model) when I first got the pixel Xl 3, initially I had problems getting it to be recognized - but once I figured out where the setitngs were for setting things up - it connected fine and now I don't have any issues - I can connect both wirelessly and via usb - wireless takes a bit longer - USB happens right away - I hope you can get things working for you....
I've got a new S20 and a 2015 Chevy Silverado. I don't have Android Auto, missed that by a year. I do have full bluetooth access for calls and media which have always worked great with my old Windows Phone and my Motorola Z2. On those phone I could have the assistant work by just saying "Hey Cortana" or "Hey Google" and it would interupt the stereo and I could dictate a text, do a web search or whatever. On this S20 I have found that I first have to hit the "media" button on the truck console to switch it to the bluetooth input before I make the request.
Is there any way to tell the phone to go through the same channel as the calls as my other two phones did?
