There is a separate thread in the OnePlus 3 Accessories sub Forum regarding battery. THIS is the latest recommendation there. Though they seem to sell both OEM (see its definition in the website) battery and their own battery, the second one seems ok as per the posts there.

Thanks man
Just wondering, how do they get OEM parts (and are they really OEM)? Because AFAIK OnePlus does not sell OEM parts to third parties ... (unless their policy changed)

AFAIK there are no real "OEM" parts of OnePlus available in the market. That is why I asked the OP to read the definition of OEM in the website. I am reproducing it in full though it is long.
"The term OEM stands for 'Original Equipment Manufacturer', the exact meaning differs in several industries.
To us, OEM means that the part is the same part used within your device, using the same materials and specifications.
We use the term OEM to cover many parts from refurbished, used and new components, the exact condition will be stated in the items description.
In some cases when the part supplied is made up to several components (for example an LCD assembly) the part may have been assembled by a 3rd party vendor using OEM parts meaning that consumable may differ (such as adhesive used)
Although strict testing procedures are put in place to ensure the quality of the part these testing practices and procedures may differ from the checks manufacturers use.
Any hardware supplied as OEM will not have any quality loss or loss of features and covered under our extensive returns policy.
As in many cases we dont obtain directly from the devices manufacturer, nor in some cases are we affiliated with device manufacturer in any way and they are not involved in the testing or sales process of the component we sell."

Did anyone managed to buy an original genuine Samsung battery from eBay? I have already received two original fake ones, one is already dead! I found two vendors in eBay whose photos of the battery look real. Links below.
Did anyone buy from them and received? real deal? Any other vendor from whom I can buy one? Before anyone posts, I'm not interested in the new extended battery. Appreciate a lot any input.

Forget eBay when it comes to batterys or SD cards, you want the original do a search on Google.
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/samsung-standard-battery-eb-f1a2gbucstd-p29442.htm
you can probably get it cheaper if you search.
Thanks, but the link you provided is exactly (or it looks like) what I do not want: a replacement battery. I want an original one from Samsung.
I go eBay, because it is very difficult to get electronics or parts shipped from Europe or the US to Brazil with a reasonable price, or get it shipped at all. Many don't do it.
Anyway, if anyone else can help... Thanks
PS: actually that battery was for the Galaxy S, not the S II, if I'm not mistaken.

mate that is an original battery 100% genuine, eBay is well dodgy when it comes to phone batterys and SD cards and the likes and is to be avoided at all costs this website is 100% spot on.
Yeah, sorry. But it looked so different from the one on my S II. Then I saw the link was for the "S".
I could not find (I've searched before I posted) a "S II" battery on legitimate vendors that I know: Clove, Xpansys... And there is none in the website you suggested.
look again mate this battery is for the Galaxy S2..

Thanks. The website is a bit wierd (it say it is for the S 2, then it say "s" right below; the image is so different from my phone battery...) . I emailed them about it and shippng. I do appreciate your input.
However, and taking into account your advice about eBay, I would appreciate any other input on the above links.
Thanks.
the eBay stores from Korea are usually legit, shimshop is good!
I bought this one recently and haven't had any problems.

i saw a thread about offical battery. you may like that.

Thanks, guys.
The UK company suggested above, shipping costs EUR 23... So I'll take another shot at eBay. I prefer not risking with the HK shops. Will go for the Koreans.
I've bought from Shimshop as well, but the picture on the other Korean site I linked is more clarifying, so I'm still on the fence.
Through my experience of buying two fake batteries, it seems that the top view, where the connectors are, is the most important part to detect counterfeited goods (it was the same with HTC HD2 Batteries I bought). From both Korean sites their batteries seem like the Battery which came in my phone, with the recessed area on top (with no label), but on one site you can see as well a little recessed area (like a very small screw) inside the recessed areas on the sides of the battery. Or maybe it is just a better fake...
Let's see. Thanks again for the help.

I believe it's genuine. I don't even know which one came with the phone anymore. They both perform identically. When I run out of juice I just swap out the battery and stick the dead one in a battery charger. They both last me about a day and night with moderate usage. An hour or so of video at lunch, a few hours of music, 20 or so minutes of gaming and mostly texting throughout the day.
Samsung genuine batteries for i9100
Hello. I have some original and also extended batteries to sale, if someone is interest in. Drop me a PM.
Like display, plastic frame, etc?
Thanks
What is it specifically you're looking for? A quick search of Google shows Global Direct Parts, it has digitizers, speakers and the like.
Google is most definitely your friend with regards to sourcing parts.
Thanks. I was looking specifically for the plastic frame of the phone. I've been searching for it for a couple of days with no success. I guess I was using the wrong term in my search, I see it right there in the link you provided
Thanks

Is this not the part you are looking for? It's the side and internal back of the phone by the looks of things.
Any individuals able to buy from Global Parts? I see this on their page:
To better serve our customers, we are now members only. New applications are reviewed and you will be speedily notified. As a wholesale distributor, we only serve cellphone repair shops, wireless retail stores, refurbishers, insurance companies, and other wholesale purchasers.
We do not supply the general public or end users repairing their personal phones.
anyway, theres lots of parts on ebay if you want to go that route.
I'm looking for a replacement battery, just the standard, Samsung stock battery. Not interested in aftermarket versions, extended batteries, etc.

I have bought battery from "aliexpress" before and somehow the battery doesn't last...
I would suggest Ebay but both are reliable. Or most reliable source is samsung's site
I never imagined that it wasn't obvious that buying replacement batteries (or anything) from the carrier or the manufacturer was an option. Ever seen the price from them though ? $30-40 from Verizon. I wasn't aware that Samsung sold direct....

Probably? There's a tear-down that one of the review sites did when the watch first came out. Might give you an idea of how easy (or hard) disassembly would be.

Pretty sure it's under warranty. No need for user to replace battery yet.
Battery swap seems to be much easier than on Moto360 for example. Check this YouTube video
Though I can't seem to find someone who sells it (battery part number as seen on the video is HB442528EBC). Chinese site Taobao has some references to it selling at around 10-15 dollars, but other than that I have seen nothing.
I'd really like to know where to buy one ... I'm in America so I don't know how to buy off
that website
The battery is currently available on eBay
Just search for hb442528ebc and you will find 2 or 3 sellers that offer it.

I wouldn't suggest buying these Chinese knock off batteries. They are highly likely to swell and/or explode in a short matter of time (bad on your wrist) due to low quality engineering. We need to find a Huawei OEM battery replacement, if possible, but how?

Probably not possible. Counterfeit "OEM" batteries pop up all the time, so even if it says OEM, you're probably not actually getting that.
Anyone satisfied with a G4 battery purchase in Europe?
Been reading the battery threads here in xda, seems you can get some good batteries but only in the US.
Getting a non fake battery is not as easy as it seems, so, is there anyone who got a good battery (via e-shopping, eBay preferably) in Europe? By good I mean either true original or performing at least like the stock one.

Yes, your thread is well known, but there's one more thing I should have mentioned: I have the black leather back which I love and don't want to change.
So that rules out most of the batteries in that thread since they need custom covers.
The few that are labeled slim do not ship to Europe (links from the 1st post, don't know if there's more links later in the thread which is quite big)
Thanks anyway.

Hmm sad they don't ship there. How much you think it'd cost to ship?
A few cases I've seen with batteries that are already available in both Europe and US (mostly fake ones typically marked as original in bulk form) the shipping varies from $10 onwards.
Maybe I would pay that shipping cost for a battery like the TQTHL for which many say is very good, but the problem is noone ships to Europe.

Wow thanks man, but what if the battery is problematic or something? I mean, I would have to send it back to you, effectively paying shipping back and forth, which would probably cost me more than the battery itself, and that is IF you would invest the time in such a situation.
For now I just thank you for your gesture. I will search a bit more, and if I find nothing promising maybe I'll ask you if you would still do it. In any case thank you!

Seems to be original, if you need it.
Yes it seems so (as one reviewer also says), but reviews after some time after purchase would be good. The net is full of 'original' batteries and people reviewing them the day they bought them, yet I still strive to find a battery I won't be returning as totally useless even for other phones of mine.
I am starting to think it's some kind of worldwide quality cells shortage ?
Try Polarcell battery on ebay.de from Wannsee-Electronic GmbH !
Using it for 3 months getting maybe 10% more juice from it .

Might be Norway only tho

It's not the origin, it's the destination. What good is a battery that the seller won't ship to the potential buyer's country?
