I'll fix your HTC phone or provide parts

Hey guys. I have gotten alot from this website so I would like to give back. I own and operate a mobile phone repair shop and would like to extend my services to this forum. Most of you seem pretty techical so even if you just want the part (microphone, ear speaker, Loud speaker, LCD) I will provide it for you at a low cost plus shipping of course. I mostly deal with hardware issues so please don't PM me or post asking about software, I am a total noob when it comes to that!

If you can source the vibrate motor for an HTC S710 I would be forever grateful. Where abouts are you located?
EDIT: I see you're in Phoenix.

Most of the parts I carry are for US released HTC phones but often they carry simular parts. If you can post a picture of what it looks like I'll see if I have a match.

I will upload a picture in a little bit, however here are the specifications from the HTC Vox Service Manual for the motor;
JT0406-30CSR1, JNTECH, Cylindrical, 3V, 100mA, 12000+/-3000 rpm, 60/-, 20degC, 11.2*5.1*5.8mm
The cylinder has J7D05 printed on it and has 2 prongs that make contact to the pad on the PCB. I've tried many different other motors but none of them physically fit in the spot. So if you have any motor rated to those specs and is smaller or equal to the dimensions above, I will take it.

Here are two pictures of it. They are quite large, so not inlined. Not my camera, one of those funky digital ones that I have no idea how to adjust the focus on.

A friend of mine has an O2 XDA Orbit but the usb works for charging but not for the data link.
Is this fixable? and if so, do you perform the fixes !!!!

I had the same problem with my Dash/Excalibur. I had to turn off the USB charging feature in the settings and then the data worked fine. I just either turn it back on if I need to charge via USB on my PC and don't have a wall charger handy. Tell your friend to try that.
Edit:
Also Turn off Advanced Network Functionality to along with charging over USB.

If the pins in the socket look straight re-flow the solder on the mainboard or get someone to do it. It's fairly easy. New sockets are about $4 on fleabay but as there are multiple lines close together you do need skill to replace.

Sorry friend. I don't have one that looks like that by HTC. However the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 vibrator does look like it. If I had it here to test I would be able to look closer. Once again, sorry friend.

Right on! I have been wanting to replace the metal bezel that goes around the front of the AT&T 8525 (U.S. HTC Hemes). Mine has gotten quite scratched and scuffed over the last year, and I would love to have it returned to it's original clean, shiny look.
Do you happen to carry this part by any chance? Or know of an affordable place to obtain one?

I get mine from a guy on ebay. I used my last 3 over the holiday weekend so I am out till I order some more on Monday. They are about $28 shipped. Link below....

If you need the full housing email Amit / Raki Computers and ask - they have them as well at not much more $ ( about $26 IIRC) if you ask although the parts they sell are used / stripped from BER phones so some have minor marks and it's pot luck.

[Q] I'm looking for an One X NFC antenna

So a friend of mine wanted to open up his phone.
And internally he massed something up, and now his NFC Doesn't work anymore.
I suspect it's the antenna sticker.
Does anyone know where to get a new one?

That's awful, really. However, I know that some guys are just selling NFC antenna for different mobiles online in recent days. So maybe this time you can google "NFC antenna" and find them. Of course, most of the manufacturers like Sunshine Good Electronics only deal with wholesale business. Therefore, you need to be patient. I really that the result that I am seeking for is on the second page last time.

Don't need an invite for OPO - use Aliexpress - yes it's safe, plenty of people in the OPO subforum on XDA have ordered and I myself have ordered one.

I've been thinking about it... BUT...
From what I can see, the original ones come with the CM logo on the back? The one you linked to, doesn't have any logo on the back, so does that mean it comes with the dreadful ColorOS? And what about replacement phones and warranty-concerns?

Some of them have ColorOS however it's a simple flash to change to CM11s - regarding warranty or issues.. it's a straight send back and swap from what I have seen so far. People have actually been having worse luck with OPO directly.
Remember China don't need invites, hence them being freely available.

Hmm... Well I think I'm gonna see if I find an invite in the coming week, hopefully I do... I'm just so concerned, in fear of it being a "fake"

No fakes around as it's a Chinese company anyway have a look in the OPO forum here and read people's reviews... They don't tend to pirate their own stuff. Good luck with an invite :good: they all come from the same warehouse anyway lol

Hi,
My cover is broken, don't know exactly why. From the top border, until camera.
Seems strange after shortly discontinued mobile there is no replacement accessories...
I noticed that OnePlus don't have cover available in website store anymore.
Honestly I feel a bit concerned with that, mainly because I read in different places that there are covers that are not good enough.
I'm disappointed because I haven't done nothing to break cover, is always inside flip cover. I can only that I don't need assistance, or else mobile will be able to paperweight.
How can I get new one? A 100% working one

Submit a support ticket on their website saying that you need a new sandstone case for the OPO and you should be able to buy one that way. That was how I got my replacement, albeit I did this a while ago. Hopefully they haven't changed this policy and you'll be able to get that case! If not, I hear there are some cases you can buy from Aliexpress, but I have no experience with them so I do not know about how legitimate they are.

That was the second thing I've done, the first was look for it in the store. And I received an amazing answer:

I can understand that OP is releasing new phones and wants to sell it, but they can't forget about previous mobiles, with a couple of years. Probably this is my only OP phone ever.

The problem is that they don't have the StyleSwap covers in stock anymore (The stopped producing the OPO already...)

Very good to OP, very bad on the customer service point of view.
It's not OP problem; is mine, just because I have a new phone damaged and I cannot get a part to fix it.

You still getting battery covers for two year old samsungs, sony's, lg's from the Manufacturer? Prawly not. Hard enough to get software updates, let alone them keep around physical product. Want to know why you can't restore old Japanese cars like you can with American cars? Americans have the space to store old **** for decades. Japan does not.

I have been looking and the only place I have found the back styleswap covers are on AliExpress.
I have had horrible experiences with them and almost never receive my items so I really don't want to order them.
I was wondering if anyone has styleswap covers they are willing to sell or know some where besides AliExpress that has them?

I had some luck finding some white ones in stock at oppomart, but I think they've sold out since then. I'll find this and post in it or send you a PM if I find anything. I wasn't going to post any links yet, as hunting for this has taken quite some time and effort, and there's a couple of...intricacies.
Anyway, to give you all a heads up, I have ordered one, but so far it's still "processing". I wanted to make sure it's not a scam site before I posted, but from what I've seen, it's either legit, or a really REALLY good scam. I've gotten an order number and order confirmation, I have confirmed that they are located(and ship from) Sunrise, FL here in the States. They have a 1-800 number, and while I didn't speak with any representatives, it does greet you with the company name and everything. The credit card statement also shows the same zip code and website, though with a different phone number. I submitted a question to their ZenDesk about shipment tracking info, but have not heard back yet. The other weird thing is it says the cover is an "iPartsBuy" cover, and iPartsBuy themselves claim to be out of stock. Maybe some kind of merger or inventory purchase? I managed to find the back covers for sale on Alibaba, and it even mentions them having NFC. Unlike the other listings on Alibaba these have a minimum order of 1 so you don't need to buy more than you need.
