Hi,
Is there any way of undervolting on stock rom / stock kernel? Or is there any stock kernel + undervolting support out there?
Thanks

When I began exploring overclocking using the kernel modules on the stock kernel, I found talk of changing voltages using this module. The conclusion I found was that the voltage settings didn't do anything.
Now that I am perm rooted and running bacon bits 0.3 kernel, I was wondering if any voltage tweaks have been implemented. I see other custom kernels claiming undervolt capabilities/settings, but my understanding so far is that I would need to use a custom ROM with these kernels.
What options do I have for undervolting on the stock ROM running bacon bits kernel?

I was wondering what the best kernel for the Cola Rom would be? Is it best to stick with the stock kernel? I was also curious about overclocking with this ROM. I'm guessing it is not possible to oc with stock kernel, but not 100% sure. Any input would be appreciated.

Use Doomlord's CDMA doomkernel for ocing.

Hi, i was wondering if the Eternity custom kernel will work on stock and custom roms. The kernel seems to have various improvements to the CPU and GPU including 1.7GHz overclock. Found here: http://www.eternityproject.eu/topic/48-eternityproject-kernel-34-for-htc-one-x-endeavoru/
Also has anyone used a custom kernel and thought it was better than stock?
Cheers
It will only work on ICS ROMs but an update to JB compatibility is in progress.
Thanks for the answer, i will be happy to wait Looks a good kernel.
after flashing a lot of roms i decided to go back to the stock android 2.3.6 rom. of course i kept the root. Now i got a few questions:
1 set cpu control dont let me overclock higher then 800mhz. Why is that? Normally i could overclock untill 1.2 ghz.
2 Can i just flash a kernel? And if, could somebody give me the best kernel + link.
Thnx

1) you need a kernel with overclock support.
2) you need a kernel for stock rom so not cm based.
This is a stock ROM with oc support and root.

There are also stock kernels from Phiexz and Delanoister but I don't have them on pc.
Hallo,
first, sorry for my terrible English
Is there a custom Rom or kernel that supports undervolting the CPU and GPU?
I have tried the LRS Rom, Mahdi Rom and the AIC kernel. But I can ohnly change the mix and max CPU frequenzy but not the voltage of CPU and CPU.
Is there a ROM or kernel, who allow this?

You can use this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2741405 and Faux Clock to over/underclock and over/under volt.
Thank You
I can change the CPU voltage with the AIC kernel and a stock Rom. With CM11 and the AIC kernel I can't change the CPU voltage.
But, is there a way, to change also the GPU voltage?

In the AIC kernel your limited to 1.782. I don't think there is a kernel available currently to go higher.
