I have a Pixel 3 XL, my carrier is Orange FR.
On my previous HTC U11, the MMS group option was available in the settings of the Google Messages application with the same SIM and carrier.
On my new Pixel 3 XL, this option is unavailable, by default it is SMS group which is set and so I can not send a single MMS to multiple contacts.
Anyone having this problem ? Anyone having a solution ? ?
Nota: is it related to RCS support ?
Did you check in Messages>Settings>Advanced>Group Messaging? The choices are:

That's the problem : no such MMS grouping option option in Advanced setting ...
Same SIM on my HTC U11 propose me the MMS grouping option ...
Any Orange FR people having the same issue ?
Yes same here with SOSH . It was OK on my Galaxy S6 edge+. I have been in touch with sosh "technical experts", no problem on their side... They told me to use another app

Ok, I will complain to Orange FR ... since it seems to be linked with Orange under Android Pie...

Good news : with Android Q Beta 1, this issue is fixed on my Pixel 3 XL !!!

Are there any Pixel 2 XL owners who also use Android Auto? My SMS messages come in just fine, but my MMS ones never show up on the Android Auto home screen. Do I need to adjust anything settings-wise in order to see/receive incoming MMSs on Android Auto?

Oh just realized you said it's specifically MMS messages. I rarely get MMS to notice whether or not it shows up for me.

correct, sms only. no way to display mms in android auto, which sucks because there can be text associated with the media, but cant be accessed.
Kind of makes sense cause it's assuming MMS is a media and not containing text like a group text does. I use instant messengers for group texting so I don't deal with it but I can see the annoyance.

I have (again ...) an issue with my Google Pixel 2 XL phone ...

So again, I have open a case to google support, tell to them that they have a "know" issue because I've had this issue in the past. I've asked them if they can change my phone again and maybe this time, change all the accessories (I bought an additional charger and a USB type C => A cable from the google store) I never used any other cable or accessories.
but this time, the support never answer me, it's so long ... after 3months, they still tell me that somebody is going to call me or write me an email but nothing appens ..
So my question now is ... anybody has the same issue with the support of google? 3months for a RMA is way to much!
Do you know another way to contact the support, or maybe the satisfaction department
any comment / advise is welcome

I require wifi calling (vowifi) as Vodafone is discontinuing its sure signal device and i have no phone signal where i live. I believe vowifi is an option on some other countries variant of the phone but not in the uk. is there any way off being able to enable it or adding it some how?

Go to Phone > 3 dots in top > Settings > Wi-Fi Calling , then enable VoWiFi.
once i get to settings there isnt a wifi calling option, i have discussed this with honor/ huawei and vodafone and they seem to think my phone isnt compatible. thank you for your help thought

ok so i have tried 2 other sims.. one my partners vodafone sim that works with vowifi on her p30 pro but nothing on my honor but then i tried a o2 sim in the honor and bingo! there was wifi calling! how come vodafone sims make it not show up as an option?

Check that it's turned on in your My Vodafone account:
My Vodafone > Services and Extras > Calling options
My Vodafone app > Manage Bars & Extras > Buy and manage extras > Calling options

Some months earlier, I was able to use call forwarding on my airtel SIM in galaxy F62 for voicemail purposes
But now, it just doesn't let me use supplementary services in SIM SLOT 1 like call waiting and forwarding... though Sim Slot 2 is letting me forward the calls...

May be your shield x broke call supplementary setting. Just backup your device and do a factory reset. If doesn't work the you need to flash system with ODIN

Thanks for the reply, but I inserted my SIM in my mother's phone and the Supplementary services didn't work either..
So I guess the problem lies with SIM only..
Is there some setting or something from where I can just toggle those services on and off ? Or should I contact my telecon operator?

Has anyone active Vowifi/Volte on honor magic 4 pro? I leave in sweden and i use Thre mobile and i have no option to activate the Vowifi/Volte i have called tje provider and they told me that everything is working fine fom our side! Has anyone any solution?

I had the same issue first when I got this phone , WiFi calling would not kick in at all although the setting was on. 4 months after I have received an update and this resolved the issue , no option for Volte however when I call someone majority of calls are marked as HD call but I guess this only works if other party has a fairly modern handset. I am on Three UK

I'm in France, and everything is working good. I have Vowifi activated and working and as marek03 said, my calls are also marked as HD.
