magnetic cable with thin usb-c end - General Accessories

I use a Floveme magnetic chargecable on one of my devices.
It works very well and I like the fact that the usb-c port is protected.
BUT, the connector that sits in the usb-c port on the phone protrudes a bit too far (despite case) and has such sharp sharp edges that it massacres my poor little finger.
Can anyone tip about manufacturers who have a usb-c connector that does not protrude so much and preferably have rounded edges?

Ballistic SG case review

I had the pleasure of testing the Ballistic Shell Gel (SG) for the HTC One. This is overall a nice case I personally feel that is a little on the bulky side but can easily protect the phone from a 6-7 foot drop. It has cut outs for the power button, micro usb, both microphones and headphone jack however, the cut outs for the headphone and micro usb arent big enough for the 90 degree cables like those from beats headphones.
Pros: solid and attractive design, IR blaster isnt covered, volume keys protrude out the case and is easier to press, easy to take off the case and put back on, decent size lip to protect the screen, less slippery than just the plain aluminum.
Cons: a bit on the bulky side, the lip might get in the way when you type on the keyboard, cut outs don't work for 90 degree cables.
Overall its a good case if all you want is good protection. You you dont like dealing with bulkiness and just want some protection I sugesst getting the barely there case from Casemate.

Apple watch rainbow stand

Preface- I was contacted to review this Apple watch dock out of the blue. I was not searching or reaching out to anyone. They provided me with the product in exchange for a review. My nature is to give a honest review, I want to help others. My opinion and this review is subjective to only help you.
Packaging- I received the watch via Amazon, it came in a white box with no real markings, details about the product inside. I opened the package and was greeted with some soft protective foam on the top. There were no instructions inside the box. This is a con because I was a little confused how it went together and had to revert to Amazon and the pictures showing the product.
Build/Quality- The overall stand/dock is sturdy. The majority of the stand is made out of clear acrylic. The underside and middle is a white plastic. The top layer is a 5mm or so removable piece of aluminum. The sides of the aluminum and center cutout for the Apple charger are chamfered and polished silver. The piece of aluminum resembles what a Mac feels like. Though a negative was the aluminum is quite soft. Upon taking it off I felt it bent slightly as attaching it back on did not fit the same. The aluminum clips onto both ends of the rainbow arch.
The overall size is a bit bigger than expected. One negative I found was the weight. It’s weight is comparable to a modern cell phone. The bottom of the stand has silicone feet, BUT they are not grippy at all. I’m able to slide the stand easily across any surface just by tapping it. More grippy feet and more mass would make it more stationary.
Below the aluminum hides a channel the charging wire feeds through and a hole cutout for the magnetic charger to sit in. Under the charger sits on a silicone pad to keep things snug. A channel is cut out of the aluminum and plastic for the cable to feet out of for the dock to sit flat on a surface.
Other remarks- The Apple watch band that is a milanese loop. The issue with this compared to other bands is the loop never opens. It stays closed in a loop help by a magnet. In order for the watch to be placed onto this dock you must lift up the dock and slide the watch over. A normal sport band, leather or nylon band you can just unclasp and lay the watch on it. With those bands you have two options on how to lay the watch: with the straps laying over the top of the aluminum or the straps dangling in between.
Another neat feature that I would have liked to see would be faint LED lighting inside to create a glow effect that can be turned on or off. Since it is being advertised as a “rainbow” stand, a rainbow effect would have been a nice touch considering the acrylic.
Pros:
Good build quality
Cheaper compared to other docks
Unique design
Nice aluminum feel
Cons:
Silicone pads are not grippy
No instructions
Aluminum is pliable
Inconvenient to use with Milanese loop or link bracelet

Does anyone have the pasonomi case?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F...0+pasonomi&dpPl=1&dpID=51wuOYiWWML&ref=plSrch
I've been looking at this case, but it seems that the inside of it is just plastic and I'd be concerned about plastic cases scuffing up the metal, since all the cases I've had for my phone's for years have had rubber inside layers. Does anyone have this case that can comment on this and it's quality?
I have the silver version. The interior is plastic, indeed, but the contact points are rubber. There is no direct plastic to aluminum connection.
However, the finishing of the case is a little disappointing. There are sharp edges left and at least the silver version is actually a light colour plastic painted silver, so, in time, there will be areas where paint will be gone.
One more thing, the usb-c port opening is not wide enough to fit certain connectors (the original is fine though).

Can I use a USB-C port protector with an official OP5T Ebony Wood Bumper Case?

Had some issues with dust and dirt in general crawling up my usb-c port messing with the connection. Had to clean it out with alcohol and q-tips. I was thinking about buying a USB-C port protector/dust-plug, but I'm not sure if it interferes with the official bumper case. Does anyone has any experience with port protectors and the OnePlus 5T? Thanks

I wish they at least made the phone dust resistant. dust can easily damage the sides if it accumulates enough.
and added plastic shielding in the charging port. every plug and unplug will scratch the aluminum until the micro usb no longer snugly fits the port.
