Hello,
Recently I changed the entire display to my note2 i7100 and works perfectly. The issue is the phone wont charge.. Replaced the battery. I ordered a usb charger flex and replaced it. And still nothing..
I tried with other chargers and nothing happens..
Can anyone help me to find the issue?
Thanks!
Probably not the fix you were looking for but certainly easier lol and less chance of causing more damage too

My friend I guess that the charging base (this module that takes the current to the battery to charge it)
is damaged, so you might need to change it.
Hello thanks for the replies.
But I need to fix the phone. I don't want an external charger.
I would like to know what is causing this issue.
Bought a flex charger in ebay.
But nothing, it does not work..
Maybe is a motherboard damage?
Thanks!

I am not talking about an external charger my friend,
Here is the thing, when you plug your charger to the phone, the port that you plug the wire in is
a part of a module connected to the battery, and that thing might be damaged.
My recomendation is to save yourself time and effort, and send it to a maintenance shop or store,
they will replace the base and probably won't cost you that much.
I purchased this phone 2 months ago and the charger already got damaged.. Its suddenly stopped working.. I want to buy a new 1. Searched on the net but couldnt find it.. If anyone of you has a link to the original charger please share it.. A better alternative would also do.. Thanx

I think any Motorola charger will do the job. There are quite a few good ones for a reasonable price in amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...=motorola+cha,aps&rh=i:aps,k:motorola charger
Any 500 mAh to 2 Ah micro USB charger will work. I have a couple of Motorola, Samsung, and Blackberry ones. Only the rate of charge differs.
I just bought Nokia x5.1 plus yesterday, but it doesn't want to charge, the cable is alright and the adaptor too, can anyone help me?, It always stuck on the same amount.
Hello folks,
DW put the phone for charging in the charger present in the hotel room and it heated up the cable. (Don't ask me why she felt it was a good idea.) She pulled the cable out when she saw smoke coming out but now the phone won't charge. I am not too sure if the USB port is messed up or the daughter board is messed up..
I am curious how should would you recommend me proceed with this? Is it worth even getting it repaired that pre-owned Pixel XL are available for about $160-180. Anybody had similar experiences. Would love to have some ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Nope. Phones dead. Get a new one for 130 bucks. Or get a newer phone.
Why do you say that (just trying to understand)? If the charging is restricted to daughterboard then the replacement should work and if the phone was 'shot' it won't even turn on but it works flawlessly.
I have already written the phone off and looking for a new phone but throught maybe I could fix it somehow so that my kid would use it as a playphone.
Hi guys,
I've changed the cable on my Zenfone 5z charger and bought a new one from ASUS support. What I've noticed is that the charger is only working at 4.234 V and not 9 V as suggested on the charger. Does this mean I've got a faulty charger or is this something to do with my phone? My 5z is out of warranty and I'm kinda confused about what's happening.
Any help is appreciated and TIA.
