Hi all, I have been using the 20x for a couple of days and found this annoying error in the photo albums. If you look at the attached pic, on the left is the normal layout of my albums. On the right is what I see after using the phone for a while from restart. The difference is that from an all black display with album titles, the album titles got 'lost' in white strips!
Don't know what happened there. Any clues?

Can't seem to be able to edit my original post, but I can confirm that this is the case if I choose a dark background under settings > battery. If I use the default brighter display background, there is no such issue.

Hi guys,
In default HTC mail applications, if I receive HTML e-mail (and most of them are HTML ones) fonts used to render e-mail, are really big (huge, enormous...). It looks like I should be able to "zoom out" a lot... but I can't. Has anyone figured out how to make fonts in default e-mail application smaller?
You can see how it looks like on the picture attached.

Pic not showing.
Others are reporting the same issue. Looks like we have to wait for htc to update the app.

Basically, with any app that doesn't have an interface for menus and uses the default menu, the text for the options is white against a white background, making it impossible to read. Here's a screen cap:

Anyone have an idea on how to correct it? Thanks!

Looks like a MIUI issue. I've never seen that on the stock ICS build.
It's a limitation of the ROM or theme you're using. Time to change one or the other as applicable if the white on white renders it unusable.

I've found lots of cool HD home screens for note 2.
Anytime that I set one as my home screen, it asks me to crop it and ends up being zoomed in.
Does anyone know how to make a picture be the entire home screen, like the stock home screens do?
Cheers

If your not using the default gallery to set that wallpaper then it'll be zoomed in. I know exactly what you mean.. Here's a few pics to show you what I mean! Stock gives you full screen!

The top bar that appears while selecting text (or multiple emails in Gmail for example) has its bottom half blue, as you can see in this picture. I am sure it wasn't like this before (since that blue part is very noticeable now). Did this happen to anyone else? I'm stock rooted but haven't done anything uncommon recently.
That happens on both my Nexus 7 (stock 4.3, not rooted...yet) and HTC One (stock 4.1.2, rooted).
I think it looks awkward and out-of-place, like a glitch. Fortunately, that's where my complaint ends; the functionality seems unaffected.

Is anyone else having issues with the sizes of websites when using FHD under the battery saving option? The sites that I use typically are super enlarged to the point where is annoying to use. I want to use the lower res to save power, does anyone know how to fix the font? I've included a screenshot so you can see.

Search in settings for font. Should find font settings. You can change it to the smallest.

Still hueg everything.
Press your recent apps soft key and close all of your open apps. Once you reopen them, your apps should look normal. I had the same issue. I have to do this whenever I switch the screen resolution.
