Home Screen / wallpaper / resolution - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I've found lots of cool HD home screens for note 2.
Anytime that I set one as my home screen, it asks me to crop it and ends up being zoomed in.
Does anyone know how to make a picture be the entire home screen, like the stock home screens do?
Cheers

If your not using the default gallery to set that wallpaper then it'll be zoomed in. I know exactly what you mean.. Here's a few pics to show you what I mean! Stock gives you full screen!

[Q] White on white text in menus.

Basically, with any app that doesn't have an interface for menus and uses the default menu, the text for the options is white against a white background, making it impossible to read. Here's a screen cap:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone have an idea on how to correct it? Thanks!

Looks like a MIUI issue. I've never seen that on the stock ICS build.
It's a limitation of the ROM or theme you're using. Time to change one or the other as applicable if the white on white renders it unusable.

Setting wallpaper

Are you able to set scrollable wallpapers on this phone, like the galaxy note? Whenever I try setting a wallpaper I only get a really small. Portion to pick as the wallpaper and it doesn't scroll.

Just download pic speed wallpapers from the play store and voila! Go to gallery select pic you want as wallpaper... When prompt select the last operation I believe. Should have pic speed icon then select third option when wallpaper screen pops up. I'll post a screen shot in a bit

[Q] Few Questions on Note II

Hello,
I have recently purchased the Note 2 and had a Questions. Can I reduce the number of pages (Like I can easily delete them in the N8000)?
I would like to have only one however I could not find how to get only a page.
If you mean home screens just pinch your home screen which will bring up all of your screens on one page and simply press and hold the screens you don't want and pull them to the remove box

It's not the same one but I used a Jelly Bean wallpaper that I found somewhere and I changed the color. It was orange and red
If someone has a higher resolution one, provide it and I'll change the color.

Flipped to fit what I'm seeing on the picture:

Saw that the other day too. I'd like to have it as well.

Palm swipe to screen shot on 4.3?

Is it possible? Or has this option been removed? As a person that do a lot of screen shots it was very convenient to just swipe my Palm and capture an image.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Setting/control/scroll down to motion...long press...scroll down to swipe to screen capture.
