I'm trying to get into App Gallery in my international 20X. When I open the app, I get a message that states "unavailable in this country/region.". There is a "switch country/region" button but it doesn't do anything when I tap it.
Does anybody know how to change the country/region?
Maybe you can try to disable the location permission for the App Gallery and then try again

I'm using an unbranded firmware (10i) and it doesn't come with QSlide and neither is it available in the Update Centre.
Where can I get it?
I cant find anything to do with QSlide in system/app or system/priv~app, any other location or apk name?

It's the function that lets certain apps pop-out such as messaging or the tasks app etc.
It has a little icon on the app that lets you make it pop-out but it's not on any of the unbranded firmwares that I've seen.
Is it activated in your quick settings menu? Go to edit and tick it's check box to activate.

ok, all the apps are enabled in qslide settings but messaging app doesn't have the icon to activate it.
Neither does phone/file manager.
however, if I disable them all, the calendar/phone apps still have the option.
Weird.
That app is causing a lot of wakelocks. And I have no idea what this app is - it doesn't appear on the app drawer and when I open it through settings it shows a screen in polish or something, and then it closes.
Is it safe to deactivate this app?
try and found out, not that difficult ?
I was just looking to see if anyone had any info on what this app is and what it does. I've found that each time I open it sends a text to a strange number with just a bunch of random letters and numbers.

Basically looking for the photo editor app package name since I removed it and the gallery app to use different apps.
I restored the gallery, but now when I want to edit a photo, tapping on the pencil prompts me to download an app, but then I get a "no apps available to complete this action"
How about re-mapping the pencil icon to open another photo editor app? Is that possible?
Thanks!
So I recently got a new note 10+. I'm having a small issue in that signing on to my banking app with my fingerprint isn't working. It lets me turn on that option but never actually prompts me to use it.
In checking the apps permissions I clicked on the all permissions list. Does this list show all possible permissions or does it only show permissions the app is currently granted? because I noticed that even if I turn off a permission, like camera, and then go to all permissions, camera is listed and it says it can use it. This applies to any app it seems. I'll attach a screen shots from another app to show you.
One gives you the ability to disable/enable permissions for specific apps/services the other gives information about permissions the app uses.
So the list is not something I can alter in any way - it's just showing me what permissions it's using? Does that mean it HAS permission to use those things? Or just that it might use those things, if given permission on the first screen?
When I click on an icon on my home screen for an app that has not yet been installed, the phone shows the following message "This app is not installed. The app for this icon isn't installed. You can remove it, or search for the app and install it manually" and there are 2 options below: REMOVE and SEARCH.
If I click "SEARCH", the system takes me to the Vivo "V-Appstore" to search for the app. How can I change the default app store so "SEARCH" takes me to Google Play Store?
For anyone that asks "how did you get an icon on your home screen for an app that is not installed" the answer is "this is not the issue of this thread"
The best option is to adb command and remove the vivo appstore... I did that on my Chinese nex 3 and it got rid of trying to find the app in the vivo appstore.
