Hi folks,
I have a quick question, but can the Tmobile Note 3, when unlocked, support international 3G (i.e., the same bands as AT&T I presume)?
I've read that the T-Mo Note 3 supports LTE on AT&T's network, but I'm not sure if LTE is the same as 3G in terms of band support.
Thanks in advance to those who have the answer for this.
Cheers.
Yes

3G/4G/LTE Capable
GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900
3G/UMTS: Band I (UMTS 2100), Band II (1900), Band IV (1700/2100/AWS), Band V (850)
LTE: Band 4, Band 17, Band 1(2100), Band 2(1900), 5(850), 7(2600)
Hi,
Any one know the differences between Z5 Premium dual SIM model E6833 and model E6883 ? Same specification, except for TD-LTE.
E6833 have LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20
E6883 have LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, and TD-LTE 38, 39, 40, 41
So, what's the interest to pickup the E6833?
E6883 is more "international".
Thanks to explain and bring light to my confused brain
one is dualsim and one isnt
the dualsim version cant use the roms nor kernel due to the differences in hardware around the sim and radio.
I understand that if you want a real international version, you should go with E6853 version of this phone. It sports LTE bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/20/28. Hope this helps.

both are dual sim; only difference is that 6883 offers TD/LTE bands too.
Both fully compatible with european FDD/LTE bands (B3/B7/B20)
E6833: UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II), AWS-1(Band IV), 2100 (Band I) MHz GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20)
E6883: UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II), AWS-1(Band IV), 2100 (Band I) MHz GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 38, 39, 40, 41)

6853 is a single SIM variant
http://dl-developer.sonymobile.com/documentation/whitepapers/Xperia_Z5_Premium_E6853_WP_2.pdf
The Duam SIM variant supports additional LTE bands 38,39,40,41 which are for Europe...anyone buying for U.S. usage can buy either one.

European standard LTE bands are: FDD B3/B7/B20
Those bands (B38/B39/B40/B41) are TD LTE bands (no TD coverage at all in Europe)

Sorry can you explain this more, are you saying that the E6883 (Dual Sim) is less likely to be modified? I'm confused, all Android's have ROM's and Kernel's
e6883 and e6833 cat.4 or cat. 6 lte ?
Dear sir,
i want to know if the device support in dual sim premium variante e 6883 lte cat. 4 or lte cat.6 (300mbps download) because there are different specifications on the web.
thanks

I just think he meant you can't use a single sim rom on a dual sim phone and vice versa
do both sim slots on the E6883 connect through 4G or is sim 2 only 2G?
can i use use other than verizon htc m8/9 LTE: 700/1700/1800/2600 MHz (Band 3, 4, 7, 13) bands? like band 5/8/20?
because verizon only works 3/4/7/13 bands, i am not able to use LTE europe band in eu =(
is there any way to overcome this problem?
thnx
Follow this thread.
I'm thinking of buying G7+ Dual Sim, however I'm not sure how you check frequencies etc.
I would like to use it on TMobile in USA and also some network in Poland. Will this model work (LTE): LMG710EAW
From LG Site (specs)
2G Network
850(B5)/ 900(B8)/ 1800(B3)/ 1900(B2) MHz
3G Network

Ignore the LG site.
It only lists bands which are supported DIRECTLY in that region, not the bands the phone supports via hardware.
Where are you buying the phone from? The seller should list the bands on the phone, but all the bands are printed on the box itself.
The phones also say "GSM only no CDMA" but WCDMA bands even work. I don't know if CDMA or WCDMA are the same thing or not.
Keep in mind ONLY the european version (not the EAW) can be rooted right now.
Here are the bands the EAW version supports:
. GSM: 850.900/1800/1900. WCDMA: 850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100. TD-SDMA: 1900/2000. LTE: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B17/B20/B28/B38/B39/B40/B41
Working perfect for me here in Europe.

Does this mean it will or will not work in USA TMobile? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988
I see that table lists:
1900 MHz (Band 2) 4G LTE
1700/2100 MHz (Band 4 and 66) 4G LTE
850 MHz (Band 5) 4G LTE
700 MHz (Band 12) 4G LTE
600 MHz (Band 71) 4G LTE
How do I match this up with those bands you've listed? It looks like Bands 66 and 71 are not supported by phone. Does that mean it will not work?
thanks

I answered this question earlier in your other post. Remember I own this phone on tmobile.
No one uses band 66 or 71 from what i've seen anywhere.
Tmobile uses band 4, 2 in some areas, or 12. At least from what I've seen.
You're overanalyzing things now.
I've tested the bands in the service menu.
Why don't you call t-mobile and ask them if they use a strange band like 66 in your area? I've never heard of that before.

Does the LMG710EAW really support both bands 7 and 20? My research turned up that it supported band 7 (2600mhz) but not band 20 (800 mhz) or is this just due to them only listings bands from that region?
I ordered one without maybe doing my due diligence and Vodafone UK for 4G is bands 7 and 20
I have both LMG710EAW and LMG710ULM in hands, LMG710EAW doesn't seem to support B20, as in the parking area I get 4G on ULM but not with EAW.
But it's strange as today I had a look on the original packing of ULM, it's written with B20 support???
Also from LG site, FDD 4G Networks, without B20: 2100(B1) / 1800(B3) / 850(B5) / 2600(B7) / 900(B8) / 700(B28) MHz
