Is there a feature similar to the *#0011# menu on Samsung phones?
I'm curious to know what bands my phone is connected to.
Thanks in advance!

Think you have to be rooted. Install the app Advanced Signal Status and under "additional info", then "device info" you can choose for different options.

when I am using my galaxy note 3, I input *#2263# to go to a menu where I can force LTE/WCMA my device and mostly it connects to only LTE.
in the Galaxy tab S , the code works but the option for LTE only is missing. so now I continuously connect to a slow 3g network.. bummer...
*UPDATE:
apparently you have to deselect all GSM bands and just select all LTE and WCMA bands.. you wont be able to use GSM bands but your device will lock on to LTE connections if avaialbe, 3g will apply if LTE is unavailable. hope this helps
One of the good things about the gs6 is the ability to for b12 and even better ability to choose preferred band in automatic mode.
Does the m9 have some sort of ability like that?
You are talking about the WIFI channel 12 (which is illegal to put your WIFI on in the US)?
Actually I think he is talking about forcing a specific LTE band... (in this case LTE Band 12 which I think is for T-Mobile). Specifically accessing the LTE Band service menu.
For any Samsung device you would enter *#2263# and the "LTE Band" service menu would open up and you can force a specific band. IF this is what he is talking about, it’s actually a great feature because you can "lock in" LTE to a specific band, I use to do this all the time in the Philippines so I wouldn't get kicked off the LTE band. You can also see what LTE bands the phone supports.
When I had the M9, I looked everywhere and tried to find the code to access the LTE menu but I was unsuccessful. Maybe someone here has the code to access the LTE service Band menu. There were some generic codes that work for Google in general BUT none of them worked on the M9.
Try *#*#4636#*#*

*#2263# doesn't work for me
But yes LTE band 12
##DATA# on Sprint lets you do something like this, but I believe that code is Sprint-specific.
Hello,
Before buying this ZenFone2, I had a Samsung S4, which had a secret menu that could be accessed through the phone dialpad to allow viewing and selecting frequency bands.
I would like to know if there is a similar test menu on the ZenFone2 that will allow me to manually select which LTE frequency band the phone is forced to use?
Thanks!

Thanks, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. I want to manually select the frequency band, not just choose LTE.
Here is a screenshot of what that looks like on a Samsung phone:
I am sure that I have seen info on this for ZF2, but now I can't find it....
I hope that by bumping this thread someone who knows will shed some light, obviously it won't allow us to select a band that is not enabled, but at least seeing which bands are enabled in a particular phone would be good!

I did try the code yes, and it brings up a menu called Testing with the following items:
Device Info
Battery Info
Useage Stats
WiFi Info
But I cannot see anywhere in these options that tells me which bands are enabled.
Hi,
I am on Three UK and I do not see the "Enhanced 4G LTE mode" option under Mobile Network Settings. Any idea what might be causing this?
I am rooted and on stock OOS 3.2.1.
I understand that this might be related to an existing/similar issue.... (not sure though!)
Thanks,
I have the same issue no "Enhanced 4G LTE mode" using Rogers Network in Canada. Anyone knows why . Just updated to nougat...Still no "Enhanced 4G LTE mode". When accessing advanced mode via *#*#4636#*#* I see a place where I can toggle "volte provisioned" but everytime I exit the program the setting reverts back to disabled. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. OnePlus 3T user
Could someone explain what exactly is enhanced 4G mode? I'm on 3 UK but I've never heard it. Many thanks

Were you able to figure it out? The setting is also missing for me. I tried OP3, HTC 10, and Nexus 6p. The VoLTE provisioned flag acts the same way you describe.
Is there a dialer app code that allows for a service mode with Pixel devices similar to samsung devices? Or is *#*#4636#*#* the only way to change bands on the device?
There's this...
There's also this *#*#0702#*#*
Will a reboot clear this?
