Probably exactly the same just different markets.

A320F for Middle East / Arabic countries
A320FL for Europe

is there a difference in the spareparts or are they fitting for both?

Wait, that cant be right. My cousin from Germany has an A320F, and I in the Netherlands have an A520F. So the F must be for the European countries, and the FL for the Middle East.

Well. That's ****ing weird. Apparently it's not for like continents, but for different countries. Because I live in the Netherlands and look at this: http://www.samsung.com/nl/smartphones/galaxy-a5-2017-a520/SM-A520FZKAPHN/

That is why I also made the mistake i have the A5 and is SM-A520F and for the a3 is SM-A320FL in france

If you install the recovery from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...elopment/recovery-galaxy-a3-sm-a320f-t3562302 you can flash SuperSU zip and get root on A320FL. For some reason Samsung has updated the A320F to nougat a month ago but the FL variant is still not getting it. It's pretty frustrating praying for 7.0 when 8.0 is already officially out

I have not changed anything yet because I was not sure. I would like to use it only root to lucky patcher or xposed.

A320F can take 2 simcards at the same time. That.s why A320F have 2 IMEI codes.

Does it mean that the A320F is exactly the very same device as the A320F/DS?
I'm asking because, according to the box, I've bought the A320F/DS (DS stands for dual sim), but then when I check "model number" in the settings it reads just SM-A320F (without the DS). And I'm crazy looking for FW updates and/or custom ROMs specific for the DS variant without any success. All I can find is for the A320F (besides the FL and the Y, of course), and even in Samsung's stock downloading pages I can only find the A320F, as if they had totally forgotten the "DS". If both devices are exactly the same, this would explain the lack of results in my search.

A320F firmware is for both A320F SINGLE SIM and DUAL SIM models

I live in Germany.
My question is can i update to oreo from samsung with german Language?
If i checked oreo via internet there is no update for germany with F only with FL.
So i cant get oreo in German via Samsung? Is this right?

It seems to only be upgradable to Marshmellow via the stock rom. You have to install a custom rom. I've been using android Pie lineage with this phone for months, and it works great.

Stateside is coming next, for the "open market" US998 -- hopefully within the next month. That US998 isn't even released yet.
Took 3 weeks from time European H930 was released (early November 2017) to be placed on LG Bootloader unlock list (November 27, 2017).
Well, the the North American "open market" US998 will be released December 5. (Ordered mine yesterday, and going to order a 2nd LG V30 in about a month.) So, maybe December 27 it will be added to the LG Bootloader Unlock list?
Earlier this year, took SIX WEEKS for the LG G6 North American "open market" US997 to be placed on the LG bootloader unlock list... So, let's hope it's only the same three weeks (like the H930) for the LG V30 "open market" US998* !

success with twrp, have not been able to build a bootable kernel yet but stock one is working. just learning the ropes to configfs trying to solve usb issues right now.
no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip works fine to disable verity, have not checked encryption disable yet.

adb and mtp are working great
working on getting mass storage working (accessing sdcard the old school way from pc!)
will try to do something with encryption but i don't think i will get that

I'm hoping LG will release a V30+ variant of the "open market"'US998. And of course placed on the LG Developer Bootloader Unlock list.
That will be my 2nd LG V30. My wife will get the first one (64GB), which I pre-ordered yesterday from B&H Photo.
Since LG has not officially announced the open market version US998, we really don't know what they're going to release, other than that pre-order page on B&H Photo. There will be other authorized retailers for the US998...but only B&H Photo seems to be offering pre-orders.

that's a good option - but i also want to have insurance for my phone, and it only covers the H930G Israel Varient, so i will have to stick to the unrootable model unfortunatly.

Im more curious if the carrier version of the V30 from A1 can also be bootloader unlocked... Its an Austrian Provider, so it should be a H930. I asked in their community forums but got no answer, just "try it yourself"...
I might consider buying it there, in some time, but only if i can do with the device what i want ?

I'm trying to rebrand a Chinese Huawei Mate 20 (HMA-AL00) to the international version but I'm new to rebranding concept. What is exactly? Is it just installing a new firmware or does it have more implications?
I've found this from funkyhuawei where they cleary state that it is not possible for this model. However someone on Mate 20X says he did, in fact is trying to go back to AL00.
Can someone help me to understand how does this works? Will rebranding change IMEIs as well?

You cannot do this unless you have a bootloader unlock code. That's the first step.

Hello guys. I have an issue about updates with my GT Master Edition. Since I bought the phone in september I didn't received any update and the build number is RMX3363_11_A.05 with August 2021 security patches.
I live in Romania but the phone was received from Italy, I also tryied with vpn and selected different countryes but nothing. I've done a reset to the phone but again, no result. What can be the problem?

Updates ( read: patches ) get rolled out by OEM if they deem it necessary.

Yes I know but I was broswing a little and this phone received monthly updates and now it shoud have december security patches. That's why it seems strange

try changing region to UK and connect to UK on VPN as well. Then try checking for update, it worked for me

I just received the update with december 2021 security patches. I'm in EU.

No, still nothing. I am keep trying to ask on other forums but no answer. And also keep trying using VPN with different countries but still nothing. I don't know what to say.

Isn't it written on your box like this? If vpn hasn't helped so far, then you bought a phone for the global market. Since you said it was written on your phone "export", it probably means that the phone is for the global market. Where you bought the phone? In a legal sale or through an ad?

Look, this is the box from my phone . It was a challenge on Instagram so l won this phone from Realme Italy. But actually l am living in Romania. Maybe it was like a internal version and is not for all markets, l don't know what to say. The phone is working perfectly but l have in my brain this thing with the updates.... Always like to have the last one.
I also tried India vpn but still nothing, l have enough of this. l will sell it and buy the GT Neo 2. Thanks for all your replies.

Question Need help to Convert SM-F936U/DS ATT Fold 4 to Indian Fold 4 version?

So I am using AT&T version Zfold 4 model SM-F936U/DS in India and my software version is as follows:
Build number
SP2A.220305.013.F936USQU1AVGA
Service provider software version
SAOMC_SM-F936U_OYN_GCF_12_0003
GCF/GCF.GCF/XAA
Its stuck on android 12 May update.
I want to flash Indian firmware to make it Indian version of Z fold 4 for faster updates and enabling the call recorder.
What do I need to do? Any help will be appreciated. If this is answered anywhere please provide links to that thread and I will delete this one.
I am totally confused about CSC, firmware version, carrier version etc.

Not gonna happen without root, even then might be difficult.
The Indian model is a F936B model. Trying to flash the firmware on it is like trying to flash IOS on an android.
Did see a way to change CSC in the forum however I believe you needed to have the compatible variant as it needed the OXM ROM flashed 1st.

Not gonna happen without root, even then might be difficult.
The Indian model is a F936B model. Trying to flash the firmware on it is like trying to flash IOS on an android.
Did see a way to change CSC in the forum however I believe you needed to have the compatible variant as it needed the OXM ROM flashed 1st.

Thanks for the reply. I am browsing the forums for a solution and so far have got nothing. I don't want to root the device as of now.

Hii have a zfold f936b bought from eBay.
It says IMEI is 00000000 and when I insert sim nothing happens.
Any idea what are my options ?

Your phone, F936U, is carrier locked to the U.S. network, AT&T, and if genuine, can only receive updates when connected on their network as unlike other models, AT&T issue their own firmware updates.
This model also has a locked bootloader which prevents the flashing of alternative stock firmware.
Also, it seems strange that a phone that was only launched in August 2022 would have a, "May", update. Install DevCheck, free from the Play Store and check if you have a clone phone.

The phones efs/file is corrupt. See...

I got it carrier unlocked. Everything works fine in India with major carriers, even getting 5G to work here. Attaching screenshots of DevCheck

Seems genuine. Your mention of a May update threw me.
It is running the F936USQU1AVGA firmware which it was launched with and therefore, has never received an update.
However, it is still a bootloader locked model, even though you have it carrier unlocked. The only way to update it is to insert an AT&T SIM card and connect to their network in the US. Other than that, you will need to do a search to see if there are any custom ROM's that utilises the locked AT&T bootloader. Alternatively, just carry on using it as it is

No experience with AT&T but if they release their firmware online then you should be able to download & flash latest using ODIN.

i dont think its possible, India phone comes with 2 physical sim slots or an esim option for the second sim where as the AT&T which you and I have, comes only with single physical sim.

Hi Chirag,
were you able to update your phone? I have the same model(SM-F936U/DS) and stuck with an old update and no new updates show up even though Andriod 13 has been rolled out for the Indian variants.
if there is no possibility of updating the phone then I might consider selling it! any help woud be appreciated.

There is no way I could find online to get the updates. Nothing works. The only way is to have US sim and be connected to AT&T network in US to get the update which is impossible. So I guess we are stuck with the old os version.

Hi Chirag,
Thanks for the revert. Thats a bummer that we can't do anything with the update. I can still make my peace with the slow updates but having no updates especially the security updates is very concerning.
I will keep you posted in case I happen to come across any solution to this.

may I ask how you able to unlock it? Who did you go to?

I would say just start going through the different csc that's how I got mine to show the new up date then I just went back to gfc

Hi, Do you mind listing out the csc version that you used? Also any tips on how to flash it would be appreciated . The lack of software update is really driving me nuts man.

Hi Chirag,
I can confirm the method mentioned shorty9210 indeed works! I just changed the CSC to T-Mob and the updates have started flowing. Just use the samFw.com tool to change the CSC, you will get T-MOB logo once you have changed the CSC but the updates will come by. It didnt delete the data too. Couldnt be any happier!

you are a life saver sir! Thanks so much! I changed the csc to T-Mob and the updates are flowing! A quick question though do we need to change back and forth to GFC everytime theres an update? For now mine is at T-MOB.
