Just to comfirm this, been on to Three chat and they told me the same.
Shame really, is it up to Google to enable this or Three?
I've already posted on another thread that WiFi calling doesn't work and quoted what three told me.
I've ended up getting the home signal so can make/receive calls at home as their app is absolutely rubbish.

Wifi Calling on Three
Not that I know of. There isn't an icon as such, when you wake the phone up "3 wifi calling" appears briefly in the top left hand corner of the screen. There is also a toggle feature in Settings/network & internet/mobile network/advanced now where there wasn't before

Saw today about the uncarrier 7.0 changes that came and the inflight calling through gogo. I'm going to be flying to Victoria Texas in the next few weeks and was wondering how to enable this without using the the official ota..
Thanks for any help.
Doubt you can. While inflight you have to enter credit card info.

You don't have to enter any credit card info for the wifi texting,
2. Once you’re on-board
1. Follow the instructions from your cabin crew to hear when the Gogo service is available.
2. Turn on Wi-Fi and make sure you’re connected to the ‘gogoinflight’ Wi-Fi network
3. Launch your browser and click on the T-Mobile banner at the bottom of the page
4. Click the “Get Started” button and follow the instructions for CAPTCHA
6. Your device should connect automatically connect to T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling. You’ll know you’re connected when...
Android Users: You should see a WFC icon, , in the upper left corner
iPhone Users: Your network indicator should say “T-Mobile Wifi”
7. Start texting!

I haven't been on a GoGo enabled flight, but I've flown with Southwest and United in the past few weeks. United's WiFi stopped working as soon as we left LAX, even though it was supposed to work all the way into MEX. I got a refund.
Southwest's was much better, and I found that WiFi Calling connected without a problem and I could send and receive SMS. No MMS. I was also able to make and receive calls! I received a call from Southwest telling me my next flight was delayed. I didn't try to hold a conversation with someone, it probably wouldn't work very well since satellite returns are very jittery.
Does anyone use the hotspot feature and is it still working for you? Mine turns on but then right back off. Just started this afternoon. Tried rebooting a few times, no joy.

Are you using Foxfi or are you paying for the hotspot?
I added the hotspot feature and it still won't work. Time to get rid of it ?

Just tested mine. Still works. Also a part of our corporate account.
For what it's worth, my first Note7 did exactly what you are describing. Once I swapped to the loaner Note5, hotspot started working again.

Strange, I might try and factory reset it and see if that helps.
Factory reset didn't fix it. I've noticed that when I turn Wi-Fi off it toggles on and off indefinitely. Anybody else experiencing this problem?
Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
I'm having the same problem, one day it worked then stopped working.
Heres what I have found out:
I have factory reset a few times, and it will start working again for a bit until I start updating and installing apps. (try factory reset again)
Its not a third party app since safe mode is still affected.
I'm trying to narrow down what is causing it. I will update when I figure it out.

For those who mobile hotspot still works on their note 7, did you update the My Verizon app? my hotspot stopped working on the 15th (when the app had an update)
---------- Post added at 06:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:17 AM ----------
*update* its not the Verizon app
UPDATE: the problem is google play services. you need to uninstall/deactivate the current update. to do so follow instructions here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/play/xLilOUkyqSE
---------- Post added at 07:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:46 AM ----------
well it seems that after you disable google play services you cannot use..well..google play. so it needs to be re enabled. I'm working on a fix to install an older one which will let google play work and not affect mobile hotspot, until a new stable update is out
thanks for the heads up
Like the title says, I have Wifi issues with my PXL. For some reason the WiFi always turns off on its own. Not sure what it is or why it's doing it. I've gone through the settings and I don't see anything about WiFi turning off with weak signal or anything like that.
Does anyone else have this issue or do I have e a defect device?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/help/wi-fi-calling-npf26j-t3506122/page1
Mine does the same thing and under the wifi settings I have the option selected to keep wifi on during sleep, but my wifi still goes off. Because my email app every time I turn my phone screen my email app shows no network then when wifi goes back on my email app shows it was last updated many times hours earlier to the time I last had the screen on. And I know nothing is shutting my email app off either, its all a problem with the wifi.
Also I have had issues connecting to open network wifi's such as walmart and kroger, it would connect but show no internet and every time it did this the wifi was working perfectly fine on my Htc 10 which was right beside my pixel xl. I had to mess around with it removing the wifi network then re adding back and forth then they started working. I also had to enable the wifi assistant to get them to work which I should not have had to.
So I believe they have wifi issues on the pixel xl. I"am on the x software and on verizon.

Thanks for your input.
I'm thinking of upgrading from a pixel 2 Xl, and volte would be huge.
Can you do me a favor and go to your dialer and dial *#*#DATA#*#* and see if you can edit the LTE menu?
I want to see if that mode is enabled for the 3XL
(that screen allows you to lock on lte bands)
Note: if it ask for your password it is 000000 (six zeros)
I can already verify you cannot atleast on my own model it acts as if it's going to let u but then crashes to home screen. [emoji22][emoji22][emoji22]

To clarify when I put in msl it crashes. No error. No wrong msl prompt nada.

Are you able to edit this menu with the latest February update? Or you were always able to edit this lte menu?
This lte menu allows you to lock on sprint bands, or disable the crappy ones. It does not activate volte
Still can't here in Feb update. The dial code even seems alot more laggy with upto a minute or more to activate a few times I was doing other things and thought it wouldn't work anymore and the screen would pop up over what I was doing then. Smdh.

Are you using anything like Package Disabler Pro?
I ask because I did have WiFi calling, but it's also missing for me now too and I've disabled a load of packages/apps

Maybe a bug in the latest update then, the app itself is there but the setting is not
It's super weird my friend has the same phone and he has it
Yea I also had it, I have switched CSCs too though from carrier CSC to unlocked, maybe why for me although I've done that on all my Samsung phones and always still had WiFi calling
Read some people saying factory resetting brought the option back, but I never really needed it, very rare I lose signal in the house which was why I didn't enable it
