This rom is working very well. There are a lot of custom settings laid out in a nice and userfriendly layout, very nice! Only problem I found was that *front* facing cam seems to be stuck in some sort of "wide" mode, so my face was really long when in portrait, and more correct in landscape. And why remove "hold back button to force close app" -Solution: Edit hardware keys to holding back button-kill app. As in some other roms, there seems to be an issue when using auto brightness that causes the screen to use anything from seconds to minutes on waking up.
There are some advanced settings that are locked, probably because of our kernel (like changing Gpu freq and vibration). 13mpx cam working, focus works fine. Definitely one of the most well made roms I've seen!

PS. Rom is very very similar to Beanstalk rom posted by ltelg, I've posted basically the same comment there. Carbon has a slightly better layout for the numerous settings IMO.

He ONLY ports, no updates. He does put out new ports every now and then. But he doesn't post much to xda any more, Here you can find a quite new carbon port
This is a great ROM but have just noticed that the brightness must be set to nearly 100% to be a normal brightness. Is anyone else having to set their brightness so high ? Itdoes drain quite a bit of battery I have noticed.

I remember in previous PA versions you can reach settings from up left in Pie and notifications in top right in Pie. Are these features no longer supported in favour of having a status bar?

As you all know in OOS the brightness slider is at the bottom. How can I replicate the same thing in LineageOS? Is there a way to replicate that. There is apps like "Material Notification Shade" but I'm aiming to achieve this without apps. maybe with themes.

All the releases are rootless and can be dirty flashed. If you are using Magisk, you will have to flash it again after upgrading. If you get an error message while flashing the ROM due to Magisk, please, flash Magisk uninstaller and then the ROM again.

- Some people like me, like the Nougat
- Some people like me liked RR Nougat a very much and its customization. And since RR stopped Nougat, not satisfied with Oreo.
- If Nougat comes with Security Updates then what is the harm!
- Good Battery saving compared to OREO (my own experience not sure with others)

I agree. You get all the customisations in RR with good battery savings, then why choose oreo.

I can't flash pixelmaster on this ROM, does it have anything to do with enforcing SElinux status?

Good idle drain with WiFi on, 0.4%/hour.
how good is the ROM anyone?? is it lagging?? my main concern is lag... almost all the ROMs i tried starts lagging after a month or so.... i m using zool with sd410 2gb ram

I'm using this ROM for the past 10 or so days. It is very good, has lots of customizations but has started to lag a bit as compared to the initial 3-4 days. Still it is good enough to use. Even I feel that all the ROMs start lagging after around 2-3 weeks of use so I just clean flash when it happens.

Delete cache and delvik instead of clean flash.
Hi all,
I'm running Lineage OS 6 on an older Oneplus 3 and until recently I had the older Lineage 5.
There I was happy to not have on my lockscreen loads of text popping up or icons, just discrete icons on the top left corner.
Is this thing fully gone with the 6th version?
I've been looking like crazy for the last 20 minutes in all the menus and could not find anything.
At most I can just disable all notifications, have them not display the content (private) or show all.
The lockscreen does not seem to be too configurable vs the past.
Is there any way to just get rid of all text and big icons filling the lockscreen and switch back to a simple clean one with just notification icons on the status bar / top left corner?
For vanilla Android I found a forum post that stated: " just go to settings>lockscreen>notifications>tap on the side opposite the toggle>notification style>change it from icons only to brief or detailed." but could not locate anything similar here.
Help ?
