[ROM][8/12/11] MIUI-darkspadez (v1.8.12)

Here is my version of the MIUI ROM. I just feel that other devs take too long to post theirs so here is mine. The only credit I take is combining the ROM and the EN Lang pack all other credits go to the MIUI team.

I will update this every Friday once available from MIUI. I will not fix anything in this rom unless it is major. This is all stock based MIUI no other apps or anything.

Optimised “security info” adaptation model in “About phone” will not show if there is no corresponding model (8.8)

So far so good!!!
Just put the dark theme on found here http://www.miuiandroid.com/. I think it looks really smart.

Tested for the first time today...
Amazing UI, it takes the best from iOS and Android ! You definitely need to try it out.
Unfortunately, I'll switch back to Cyanogen because:
No sound at all, it seems that ogg are not played.
Messaging app does not recognize contact numbers with spaces inside
No gallery sync
I hope this will be fixed so I can test that awesome rom !

Updated Changelog for tomorrows release.

New update is up. Sorry about last week because of the lang pack delay I had other obligations I needed to do. The only credit I take is combining the ROM and the EN Lang pack all other credits go to the MIUI team. I have also zip aligned all .apks to optimize ram usage.

Apparently it only works with Sense-based roms, even after the patch.

[Q]Mimicry 1.5 notification shortcuts icons

What file it is supposed to use cuz stock icons aren't too many? I've tried to use png file 48x48 but settings process hangs and nothing is changed

I don't understand what you mean. You can choose icons of your own from images on your sdcard.
I've never had it crash on me before, but as I've stated in my OP, if things are crashing get a logcat.

It brings pop with message "unfortunately settings has stopped" i can't take screenshot, cuz the popup is like always on top (yes, over the menu opened from long power button)

I have no idea under what circumstances Settings is crashing; you haven't specified. You also didn't provide a logcat, so I can't help you. You need to lay out precise steps in here so I can recreate the issue. If it's happening when you use a specific image from the gallery, link that image.

What application are you using to select the picture from SD card?
It works for me with stock gallery app, but it is not working with Total commander.
I can select the image file in Total commander but the icon doesn’t change. No crash and only one line in logcat:

I am using Apex launcher and I can change icons on my homescreen the same way. Except I can use Total commander (or other file manager) to select pictures and it works.

[MOD] CM9 SMS/MMS App inverted with Touchwiz speech bubbles and much more tweaks

i try to use that MOD (as stated above). BUt the display of my screenshot is not the same with the one in the that thread.. how to change it to look exactly like in that thread??

The screenshoots are not made by me, but the guy who edited the app. He made the screenshoots on a different device with a different ROM, so on Arcos CM9 the colors appear a bit different as the app is framework dependent. Yours is looking nearly the same like on my phone with the current beta. Just on mine it appears a bit more blueish and yellowish now and I like it that way, so nothing to worry about.

owh..thx for applied..now i have one prblem..why there is no sound when i received a message and it also not appear at the notification??
i have tick at the setting to show the received message at notification ... do you know how to fix it??

Go to apps and delete data for the MMS app. Relaunch the SMS/MMS app and reconfigure the settings. That should fix it.

Simply open the SMS/MMS app like to write a message and go to settings to reconfigure them.

Not sure what is shown for you as messaging. For me it shows the blue SMS/MMS icon of this app and next to it there stands "SMS/MMS". So if it has the blue icon of this app, then yes, else it´s not the app you are looking for.

Faceook Home pre-relase leak

Just read this article on android guys. There pre-release version of facebook home is available now.
Step 1. Uninstall Facebook and Facebook messenger if they are already installed. This is required coz the leaked build is running on test keys rather than release keys.
Step 2. Download 3 APKs:
Install all 3 APKs in no particular sequence using any File manager.
Step 3. Press home button and default to fAcebook Home launcher. You’ll be required to sign-in the first time.
Please be patient while Facebook loads your stream and photos during first launch.
Recommended: You can tinker with settings and play with options like making the Notification bar visible at all times or not. Even when its hidden, a downward gesture from top of the screen brings notification panel down.
EDIT: Other two files are too big to attach here

it seems FB blocked the this leaked app, it can't stream anymore, just black background.

Downloaded and installed, isn't working for me either. I get a black screen and the words:
"Find me on the builds page"

you have to installe fb app and facebook messenger after the lancher

I downloaded it and installed Facebook and FB Messenger afterwards and was directed to the Facebook builds page weblink.

Cannot Set Gallery's Default App on Miui 12.5.3 India

Hello
I upgraded my redmi note 8 pro india yesterday to the latest version of the Miui 12.5.3 stable beta
so i noticed that I have 2 issues
- The small issue was the absence of Bubbles option in developer options so i can't enable it in order to use messenger's bubbles
also i didn't find any options in the notification section of the bubbles in the settings
so when i click to the message notification it redirects me to messenger app and not opening a new bubble
but It isn't a big problem
- The big problem/issue is not being able to set gallery as gallery default app
and when i use apps like pixellab it redirects me into Files app and when i click on a picture it doesn't appear in Pixellab
like the operation was canceled or something like this
(same issue with ImageSearchMan when i try to search by images)
but when i use apps like messenger and Picsart which seem like they have their own file( manager and not using the Files app) the pictures get imported without any problem
only the Gallery Default App option have this issue
other ones like Messaging default works well
so please tell me if i can do something to fix it or I'll just wait until the Stable miui 12.5 releases because this is a Stable Beta version

when i enabled miui optimization everything worked fine
+I am a pixellab user too

Did you try mod version?
