NFC Fix for huawei devices on pie? - Treble-Enabled Device Questions and Answers

Has there, or is there going to be a fix/patch that we can flash that will make NFC work on huawei devices for PIE GSI's?
I'm wondering if it would be possible to copy over NFC libraries from a working oreo GSI into their respective locations on a pie GSI if there is no fix, just need to find out what libraries are actually for NFC.

There's a magisk module that works.

i know theres a magisk module for kirin 655 devices, but im not sure if it will work on 960/970 devices, i guess i could try

any chance of getting lineage os official support

support for lineage os
How are we supposed to know?
LineageOS dev(s) got the 7T Pro. So you'll have to wait until someone with 7T builds it, but then it probably won't be official.

What decryption problem? in OOS 10/11?
TWRP is fully supported on Android 10, so if someone were to build it they would have done it by now

The encryption is still borked? That's also not always the case when I had daisey it was very slow dev wise but sped up over time

1+ implemented the 7T encryption in a nonstandard method. The usual encryption/decryption methods TWRP uses on Android builds doesn't work on the 7T (does on the other models)

But after the encryption fix from qualcomm, will it still be"borked"?
I've been wondering this since they announced it. Just holding onto a tiny bit of hope.

It depends wether what they did was on a hardware level or not. They could be creating some dirty workaround that only 'works for them' like now.
I've given up.... To bad, in enjoy this device for my needs. But bought it cause I figured out was gonna be a developers dream device here. Oh well, may be OOS11 will finally allow TWRP (if the developer even can/will/cares to provide a TWRP update if required. Would like to have the 1+ one to check out the unofficial 17 and 18 lineage builds. Thank you.

My gut feeling is that the solution will end up being a write to the chip to change encryption, wiping currently encrypted data, and a clean install of Android/OOS 11.
You are killing all my optimism lol

Question Viper 4 Android

I recently got the OnePlus 9 pro. I also have a Galaxy S21 ultra. using seLinux permissive v2 and audio modification library modules, it was possible to install viper for Android on the S21 ultra. on this 9 Pro however, absolutely nothing is working. I tried both versions of viper, the Ichigo kurosaki version, and the as well as the 2.7.2.1 Dewitt version.
Absolutely nothing works. Has anyone found a way to successfully install the drivers and get this to work on the 9 pro?

That's not good news! How did you root the OP9 pro, same way as for previous models?

yeah dude rooting is easy. Just do the patching file with magisk manager, and flash with fastboot) like you would anything else. getting quite worried that viper won't install at all. I don't want to have to use James DSP which sucks in comparison.
There is a viper4android11 that I've been using on 8pro without issue. It was posted after the update to 11 and reg Viper wasn't working, I wonder if that would work for you. It's here on XDA.

I've been using it since I couldn't get V4A to work on OP8P, its easy to install and working great. It's not as extensive as V4A but does a good job in sound processing.
Guys! Op here. I figured it out! believe it or not there's an easy fix. If you simply install James DSP first. After that, the 2.7.21 DeWitt version of viper for Android will install the drivers and process just fine. Sound goodness is back on this device! Just make sure legacy mode is checked off.
I have been having so many issues getting the new v4a to work, u may want to search magisk and do the legacy

Question Aptx Tws+ does not work for OnePlus 9 pro Oxygen 11

I ran into a problem when I switched from color wasps to oxygen wasps, because for some reason, the aptx tws+ does not want to work on oxygen wasps + although everything worked on color wasps as it did on my previous one plus smartphones Oxygen os.
That is, the aptx tws+ does not work for wasp oxygen.
But everything worked for the color wasps.
My headphones vivo tws 2019 and they support this kode Aptx Tws+
Is it possible to somehow make this cadec work on OnePlus 9 pro s under the control of oxygen wasps?
I don't like wasps. Bees are bro's.
I haven't the slightest clue what you're asking.

Well doesn't work on 9pro, need to ask in the magisk modules request thread for someone to make one for you.
Have you tried this? Don't know if it helps

Android 12 roms with 48mp camera

Hello guys , out of curiosity , can anyone explain why we can't have the miui camera with 48mp or a gcam that supports the auxiliary cameras to fully work on A12 roms ? Since there's already a xiaomi.eu rom of miui13a12 rom available ..

-48mp on RN8 is just a gimmick, it's not a real 48mp
-the MI Cam used in A10 and some 11 roms is a port from MI A3 because it does not require miui framework to work, so up until now there is no port of RN8 real cam app on any rom
-vendor drivers are differant on A12 and are very hard to port (devs are strugling to port basic features to A12 right now, so porting cam libs is close to impssible)
if you want the best result you have to use A10/11 + aryaman lib patcher to use pie chromatix libs
(or use a rom that already have it) MIUI nerfed the cam quality in all their roms
(keep in mind that the patcher have limited support for A11 / full on A10)

if saftynet pass they should work (they don't need google services to work, but they rely on saftynet pass to check if your phone is "secure" (which is stupid since all transaction are server side and not device side)

You can try, I haven't, but it might work still backup everything before trying because it's designed for GSIs so it might not work.
