Review on Miui based roms - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi,
Amongst popular miui based roms like MiUi pro, Revolution Os,Masik X, Xiaomi.Eu,Miui.ms,Miui.am and so on which do you prefer most?
I used Xiaomi.Eu,Rev os,Masik and Miui pro.As my concern is about decent performance and battery backup,I got the most from Miui pro.I mostly use the device for internet surfing on 4G network, watch offline and online movies.
Please share your thoughts too.

Lg g3 d855 best rom!!

Hello to you all,
i bought recentely a g3 D855, and am having some battery draining issue, is it normal? and by the way witch rom do you suggest me to install
Thnx to you all
Interested if someone made some tests about popular roms
for me, cloudy 2.2 is the best
For me is AN 10.2 but this rom is not available in XDA (but is the best, by far)
Anyway, every user have different demands so, the best rom for me do not necessary mean is the best rom for you.
there's no best rom. all are equal and yet different in their own types. it all depends on the user. try them all pick what you most like.
and threads like this is not allowed here in XDA. no to roms/ bias
In general, you have to choose between AOSP ROMs and stock ROMs. AOSP ROMs are stock-like android versions which have neat tricks up their sleeves. They are super-light on the system(meaning it's lighting fast), you get newer versions faster, the community is bigger and you get to customize it more freely, but the cons are that the camera doesn't have the same quality as the stock ROMs and there are some missing features which are kinda-unique to our phones.
AOSP ROMs best advatage for me is the battery life but although that sounds awesome, I prefer to have all my features and especially the camera. Therefore I am still stuck with Cloudy 2.2 .
After using CM12 for a few months, I finally installed cloudy and I'm very happy. I couldn't stand the annoying bugs of CM anymore (mainly the screen which doesn't respond at random times) and it's nice to have all the native features of the G3 (nice camera, knock code...).

Pixel Experience VS AOSP Extended ?

Guys your reviews on Pixel Experience VS AOSP Extended
Pixel Experience - https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/development/rom-pixel-experience-t3830197
AOSP Extended - https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/development/aospextended-rom-v6-0-t3866161
Note: Just want to get out from MIUI and use pie rom with no root(magisk) and mods (use as stock)...
(I don't have to time to test each rom (so don't say test yourself), I have short listed these two, so please give suggestions between these two)
Aex 6.1
I used PE for over month, its good but sometime its buggy, battery and performance is not as good as on miui eu rom which I recently switched to, but from my testing pie ROMs Pixel experience is most stable
Resurrection remix is the best.
Using Pixel Experience for almost 2 days now. All I can say is its really stable even with magisk and some modules.
So, yes, we could say try this two and make your own opinion ? plus, as my friend above said Resurrection remix last rom looks promising. Maybe I should give a try...
Cheers
There is no "better" rom here. You are comparing apples and oranges. PE is simple, fast, without any customisation or fancy tricks. AOSP has a ****load of customisation but dont know about stability. I personally dont care about gimmicks like internet speed in statusbar etc., So i use PE and dont have anything negative to say. It works great.

Which custom rom is best for gaming?

Device:- mi note 5 ai
Xiaomi rolled out the miui 12 without fixing the bugs. I am tired of seeing bugs and random crashes. I play call of duty mobile but miui intends to eat up more ram which decreases the performance. I never installed custom rom on an android phone. I am kinda confused about which rom should be best for gaming. From my research DerpFest and pixel experience is the best so far but which one should i install? Or are there any better rom for gaming?
Thanks

Yes than you want EU Rom or basically stock streamlined I have the 8gb of ram and I get about 713000 on AnTuTu and anywhere from 500k to 670k on custom ROMs. There are other stock based ROMs but EU is by far the most popular. I don't game but 8 to 10 hours browsing sounds about normal on all the custom ROMs. If you want honesty I have been flashing custom ROMs and kernels for about 5 years and I have even made a couple lineage ROMs back In Oreo days. I stopped listening to all the hype alot of it is just nonsense I've never flashed a custom kernel that gets better performance and better battery life than stock. I used to think it was possible and it's really not. You will need a better cpu to have real differences. EU is better than regular stock so try that and if your still not happy try evolution x a12 or descendant a12 Rom. Those are my 3 picks.

No Evo X works great I like I'm thinking about going back to it but I can't be sure it plays games. I've heard about people having gaming problems on AOSP based ROMs it is more of the stock Android which I like to because Xiaomi has different settings and I always get lost so yeah I prefer stock Android too. You definitely won't get performance and a12 anx camera module for magisk doesn't work it does on Android 11 though. You'll also have to decrypt your data on a12 so twrp can read your internal. The phone has a lot of catches to it I would definitely recommend that you have the My flash tool and the stock firmware downloaded and ready to go in case you need to fast boot and flash your stock again cuz it does get confusing and you probably will soft break a couple times
