[ROM][SonyLOS][CAF!][19/4/2017-V2][Nougat] LineageOS 14.1 - UNOFFICIAL

Hello!
I know that there is another Lineage thread, but I decided to create a new one. Why? Because CAF!
It really is better, especially graphics is faster...
Bugs:
- of course camera - still doesn't focus well... (it eventually does, but it takes seconds and you have to manually select on screen where to focus). Maybe other problems with cam. (videorecording)
- touch screen is sometimes irresponsible - turn off the screen or try to pull out notification bar (most of the times enough to bring touch back)
- MHL
No gapps included this time (use for example open gapps)

Before sleep i charged my phone to 100% and when i woke up battery was at ~90% (WiFi on, GSM on, without Gapps). So deep sleep is working

Did you flash modem files??

All my contacts are duplicated and I can't deleted them. Every time there get duplicated.

At the time of flashing I get an error with red letters which prevents me from following the process I have a xperia z1 c6906 with twrp 3.0.2.0
That you recommend me I want this rom that you recommend me to do I am compatible

No xposed installer for nougat as of yet! For refernce read this

Hi everybody. I been stock on lollipop since a looooot (xz1 user since released) so.... Anyone can tell me what do i loose by ubl? And if yes, can i recover it? I really wanna give it a try roms line this one. Thanks in advance

Read the thread about TA backup and restore. You can search google for it.

Nougat for Z1 is improved a lot from last time I tried it. Rom is super smooth, ril is fine, deep sleep wors great.

Camera open from instagram but in WhatsApp camera is crashing. But work to scan QR for WhatsApp Web.

Since i heard the news about FlymeOS being supporting some devices officially for their Roms, i was itching to get my hands on the OS. I seaeched a lot and did not find any ROM for mi 5 Prime. But yesterday i searched in a chinese forum of MIUI and found a Rom that is Based on CM 6.0.1.

As it is a Chinese Rom, the download link is in Baidu, a chinese version of Gdrive. You need a Baidu account to Download however, There is a way to Download the file without a Baidu account. To download the link Follow the Youtube video :

Thats actually a problem of Twrp on mi 5. THE password is your lock screen password. OR Clean Data only in Twrp and do not reboot to system instead again reboot to recovery. YOU WILL LOST YOUR DATA as you are coming back to marshmallow

Hi, is it possible to install this if i'm coming from xiaomi.eu nougat ROM? Data is already decrypted.

Reboot to TWRP, Go to Wipe, Only Wipe DATA and do not reboot to system instead go to main menu on twrp and Reboot and reboot to Recovery... after reboot, You should not get any passwrod or thing. Then install Rom, for safety install twice as it was mentioned in the Installation of Rom itself.

Yep you must flash gapps btw I dont think that this rom is good for now very bad optimizing and some bugs. I instaled it yesterday and i change it back to RR

try use ZCX recovery. because mine works flawlessly

I installed this Rom and it's made me trouble.
First, after it's booted up, i couldn't go true home screen, its crash.
I returned my backup rom(miui 8), and now i have no sound at all. I think it's because the android version...

This patch is for getting the notch working on treble roms.
- Tested on PHH Treble (9.0)
Manual:
Mount system and vendor in TWRP
adb push treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk /vendor/overlay/treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk
adb push treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk /system/overlay/treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk
Download: treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk
To fix the crappy sound:
- Reboot into TWRP
- Mount vendor
- Use file manager to remove the whole soundfx direcory (/vendor/lib64/soundfx)
To fix NFC:
- Download the zip (over here)
- Reboot into TWRP
- Mount vendor
- Flash the zip
Current bugs on phh-treble (9.0) :
- Fingerprintscanner pretend to be an enter / select key.
- Camera is not yet the quallity of the stock MIUI
- Hotspot is not working (Bluetooth thering does work)

All treble roms will work on Mi 8, because it's launched with Android 8.0 or higher.
The Mi 8 is an A-Only version, so you have the flash the A-only image
It's only possible some features wont work, like wifi, camera and fingerprint scanner.
I use the PHH Treble (9.0) rom and I'm really satisfied

Still waiting on my Mi 8 to arrive, but I'm glad you figured out how to implement the notch! mind sharing an image of what the notifications look like now? does it have the overflow dot when the notifications exceed the room?

At the moment I have no notifications, so I will wait for notifications and make a screen of it! :laugh:

Thanks, appreciate it. looks good, only problem is now that the clock is on the left there is only room for 2 notifications it seams. Wonder if there is any way to move the clock back to the right to make more room?

It's for now possible with an Substratum theme to move the clock to the position you want.

I've installed the phh-treble over MIUI, I've did a factory reset with TWRP and flashed the system with the phh-treble image

same. I've never touched treble before. I'm using xiaomi.eu rom at the moment but i'd much rather get away from miui to something more stock. Also does Xposed work?

Only the annoying soundbug with notification and alarm sounds, the other are fixed by ViperFX 1.7
Also the fingerprint sensor pretends to be the enter of the select key.
I have to figure it out where it is going wrong, so I can fix it with an other patch :good:

I also had to figure it out what to do and I have been stuck, so it's nice to share my experience with installing a full treble rom.

It is possible! download the apk.
Reboot into recovery, just mount system and vendor in TWRP
Use the filemanager in TWRP:
- Copy the apk from your internal storage
- Paste it at /vendor/overlay
- Copy the apk again
- Paste /system/overlay

Register the same finger for more than 2 times.

Here is Bug List in AEX rom..
1. Fingerprint is buggy, slow and sometimes overlay disappears only to show up after reboot.
2. Under display Proximity Sensor keeps blinking randomly.
3. Auto Brightness also responds to color/tone of current screen. eg. even in dark, if we open a bright wallpaper, brightness is automatically increased.. Idealy Autobrghtness should respond only to intensity light outside not intensity of display.
4. If you put dual sim, then Data traffic indicators is hidden due to limited space on status bar.
5. Camera focus is not good. App like Gpay and shareit, camera cant focus on QR code.
6. Music apps freezes in notification panel after using for few seconds, so after 10-15 second, you cant play or operate next song from notification panel.
7. VoLTE icon in status bar is very large and it occupies to much space, special in dual sim use.
These are few bugs which we hope will be fixed in subsequent built.
AEX is best Custom ROM currently availble for Realme X. With few improvement, it can be used as daily driver.

Overall the Rom is Very much Good and a bit stable too. I want to thank the developer for his Huge Work. There are some minor Bugs and issues i have found using it from the day it has released.
The issues are :-
1. Blink Spot issue
2. Finger Print Recognition Issue
3. Some times the Navigation keys Lag ( Specially while playing PUBG )
4. Screen Smootheness is Not that good
I am really Thankful for your work and Hope You Try to fix the issues in the next update.

After upgrading to MIUI 11, Google dialer remains active and i want to change it in order to have call recording.

There is a way to return miui dialer with recording through recovery.

There is no way till now to install it and make it working, you have to unlock the bootloader and install Indonesian or Indian ROM

Installation
We copy the archive to the memory card, if upon receiving root we did the DATA formatting, the archive can be put into the internal memory.
In TWRP, we mount Data, System, Vendor, MicroSD, go to the Install item, select this archive and flash it.
We make Wipe cache and Dalvik, reboot into the system.

If I am not mistaking, from all what I have read, the only NON ROOT, NON UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER would be to try buying/exchanging/trading your Global/Indian device (assuming you got one of those) for an Indonesian version which still has it built-in.
You probably have your reasons for not willing to unlock bootloader, but if you own a global devices, I think I have seen some threads where people were actually talking about relocking it after switching rom version Global -> Indonesian for the matter I think.

There seems to be a Magisk module available on Telegram group and working just fine on your ROM version as being repported by @Helhound0:

I have call recording working 100% on Redmi note 8 Pro miui 12.0.2 android 10 rooted without miui 12 default-apps.

(Knowledge of rooting and use of Magisk modules is very important- Read all the relevant posts in regard to this)
Root your device with magisk. Download following latest apps: (1)True phone dialer(2) terminal emulator- Termux. From Magisk , install the following modules: (1)Systemize. Reboot.Launch Termux . Run Systemize and use it to convert 'True phone' to system app.Reboot & launch True phone, and enable call recording.That's all. If you have the expertise try it out. Tested on Global rom.
