I'm driving myself crazy looking for the option in settings to add a home screen shortcut. A while ago I added a shortcut for battery stats somehow and can't find the option now. Anyone help me out to find where it is in settings ?
Try at either in the Mi Browser, or search in the widgrt menu.

A battery stats shortcut
Finally found it, it's in Security app settings. Very strange place to hide it
This setting should be elsewhere, took me hours to find

I'm having a problem with Nova launcher on my Nexus 4. I don't seem to have access to some of the advanced options. I can see the expandable 'Advanced' header, but when I click it, the arrow flicks downwards, but I'm not able to scroll down any further so can't access any further options.
I've added a photo to try and show the issue.
Any suggestions?

You have to buy the prime version or the key..
Sorry. Should have added that I have the prime version already.

Hmm, it works for me. Note that the arrow points *up* when the list is expanded. Might try restarting the launcher (or phone, if that's not possible). If all else fails, you could backup your nova settings and clear the data.

Just reinstalled and it works now. Thanks

I am running the DarthStalker ROM I don't know if that makes a difference or not, but stock also had the settings menu separated into 4 tabs? I read somewhere on the Verizon Note 3 forum that you press the menu button when your under settings menu and you can change it back to the old look without the 4 tabs. But for some reason antebellum I hit the menu button when I'm on the settings menu nothing happens?? Anyone know how to change this? Thanks

Anyone?

It's disabled on the T-Mobile version (the menu press option in settings) - you have to hack up the apk or find a way to trick the phone into thinking its VZW for it to work (latter would likely cause other issues elsewhere though, but I could be wrong).
Damn. I hate the tabs. With a passion. Running a 9005 rom and still no workie.

I was tinkering with the settings today and found this option (Nova Activities> Settings > Screen Mode). Unfortunately, nothing happens when I select any of them. I've read that the G Flex has this option.

i have korean note shv e160s and i have installed jelly bean rom but screen modes are not changing please tell me the app for manual screen mode change.thanks.
On previous phones including the S5 you could just change the build.prop or use gravity box to add on screen Nav keys... but every time I try with the N4, when I reboot I'll get system UI crashing non stop until I undo my changes.
Has anyone gotten them somehow?
I'm just a big soft keys fan
I made a similar thread asking the same thing. Haven't figured it out yet.

I take it you don't like the option that comes with the device?

When you choose the ringtone you want to use, the option to read aloud is at the bottom of the list

No worries. I had it set up on Android 9 and it continued to work with 10 after the update so i knew it was in there somewhere. I'm pretty sure it was easier to find in 9 though.
