Hi all,
Did a debloat of the latest stock oreo rom for the A3 2017, now bluetooth keeps stopping, can anyone point at the culprit in the debloat list? https://pastebin.com/V14iPRUN
Thanks in advance for any help.
Best regards,
yass
Instead of trying to pinpoint the problem, your best bet is to reinstall your ROM and then debloat one by one app with adb. Start with the big apps like the Samsung and Google bloatware, and then narrow it down to the more risky apps until you get to those service/sharing apps which is most likely to screw up something. You can check out tutorials on google.

Hi,
I have rooted and flashed numerous ROMs on several phones that I've had over the past few years, and installed minimal GAPPs such as BanKs, but this is a bit different.
I have just bought an S4 mini for my daughter, I have the intention of locking it down in many ways, but one thing i would like to do is remove gmail (and possibly other apps). I know there would be the option of not setting up a google account, but i don't want to do this as i want her to have access to google play music.
So my question is, can this be done on the stock ROM (with root), or a ROM that is based on stock so that she can keep all the fancy samsung widgets and things? And if so would the ROM be safe/stable, or would i need to do this on a more vanilla ROM such as CM or AOSP?
Thanks.

You can easily disable app in the application manager without rooting the phone. This will allow you to remove contact sync calendar sync gmail sync and all the other bloatware that cames with google account. But it's only disable and can be reanable eaysily

After rooting you could uninstall or freeze (=disable) nearly everything with Titanium Backup.
For a list which apps can be uninstalled without losing important functions, see:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39395506&postcount=604
You'll have to lower your sights, though, if your daughter wants to use some of the "bloatfeatures"...
But still, a rooted stock ROM should be sufficient.
Hey Guys,
Thank you for any help you may provide in advance, and please know I did a proper search before posting this.
I am currently using Malaysk firmware (April release) and have I am very happy with such a dev.
However there is one thing I would like to do; I would like to completely remove the Xposed framework and any trace remaining of it. (I already uninstalled the framework using the app)
This is due to the fact that the current app of my tv provider gets blocked when it discovers this and I would love to have this functionality back.
Could someone point me in the right direction on this topic?
Thx Again,
Gtrz Ecniv
Did it work before on an older version of Malaysk ROM? There are xposed apps that can prevent apps from seeing a modified system like Root Cloak there was one that you could type in specific modifications not sure the name though. Does a rooted device have a conflict with your app? there are apps that disable certain features or all if root is detected. I'm not sure where Xposed is located on the storage but a simple search in ES File Explorer might find it for you.
Hey bsavoir22,
Thx for the input, to be honest I can`t remember if I ever had it working on a Malaysk ROM however I do know what you are talking about; The Irdetto fix. Unfortunately I have tried and tested that and it won`t work I did have it running on a rooted previous firmware though (Non-Malaysk, rooted Stock GS firmware) in combination with root cloak that`s why I`m suspecting the Xposed framework.
That`s why I am interested in trying to remove the framework entirely as I love the ROMs made by Malaysk really would like all functionality back that I had on my old firmware.:good:

Hello everybody, I just received the OTA of Android 11 on my Note 10+ Snapdragon US version. Does anybody knows if its safe to install it? Cause I have a lot of information and is not an option to do a wipe data or hard reset after the installation. I have hex and other optimization apps but I can live without them if I find any issue.
Hope somebody already have installed this official update and share your opinions.
Thanks in advance.

Hey, I don't think it's safe to install at this time. I just updated my phone about an hour ago and am now stuck in a bootloop because of this update.
Unfortunately it's looking like I'll probably loose 6 months of data because of this unless there's a work around anyone knows about.
Looking for the safest ... least invasive way to either disable the **** ton of bloatware on this crappy N975U1, or advice on the best rooting routes that are available right now... Samsung was bad before... but I cannot deal with this crap that they loaded in with the android11 update! I'd read that Magisk hadn't even been effective on this last attack by these heathens...
Hi fellow F3 owners. I recently got a Poco F3 and just tried to debloat ist with ADBfastboot. It worked fine except after applying the changes the "recent apps" button lost its function and doesnt do anything anymore. Does by any chance someone know which of the removed apps causes this so that I can reinstall it?
try the native launcher

AFAIK you won't have to Debloat again. It's a one-time thing.
Also, the system-apps are only removed for your user profile.
If you factory-reset or create new user, all apps are restored.
Hi Guys. I need some help with my F41.
I have two cellphones. A F41 with magisk root and Xiaomi Mi A3 without root.
I bought a sansung tv and I was trying to use the app called "Smart Things" to connect the TV to the smartphone.
The problem is: Xiaomi Mi A3 see the app on play store but F41 dont.
Investigating a little bit about the problem, I saw a lot of users suggesting a lot of thing like clear cache, register my google account again, update my playstore and/or my android.... But nothing works.
Here is the deal: i dont let my android update, at all. I dont like updates. They just slows the cellphone and consume a lot of battery.
After a while, comparing the issue with other issues i Had with Aptoide and APKpure for the last years I realized that the problem is: some apps updates are modifiing by its developers to not work on old versions of android and I realy think this is the problem here.
So, in order to solve the problem I have to update my android. But I Reeeeeeally dont want to do that.
So the question is: is there any way of bypass the version cheking sistem of apps? Or there is a way of solving this problem without updating my android version?
Android Version: 11
One UI Core version: 3.1
Model: Galaxy F41 (SM-F415F)
Thaks a lot.
