Look in settings under "Root Management".
It is there. First thought the same.

Nice rom choices, but sad in the other side .. hope you'll not abandoning aosip project

I had no issues flashing it, I did it during installation and it's working great with all the modules I use.
ROM is really good, I didn't find anything not working, also battery is pretty good, just photos upside down with gcam using the front camera, bit everybody knows how to fix it...
Overall I think it's better than Lineage, it's pretty good indeed, good job!

This rom good for gaming like Lineage 2 revolution?

Yeah, that's the spirit!
But battery life really is awesome for me!
Didn't have mobile data on yet, but other than that I really believe the best one on any Oreo ROM for me so far!

I found a Issue with Samsung Health Together
Every time that I tray to register my Phone number... with Samsung Health Together°
They send me a TxT code or a Call ...
When I tray to put the CODE .... Have a ERROR....

All the roms are having this issue at some point.
A temporary fix is flash sysconfig patcher magisk module.

For Mi A1, franko kernel is released recently when A2 is near to be released.
Also excluding Nexus and the Xiaomi Note series .. Franko has not yet worked on any other device.
Considering this points, I do not see Franko to be working on Zenfone ( IMHO ).

please add another custom rom,to make it interesting...

Can this be used as a daily driver? Are there any prominent bugs?

Awesome rom
ROM is really good and really really smooth. I liked the styling and the design very much. Just a few more things would really awesome
1. It would be really good if we had the options to edit the functions of the hardware buttons on long press or double tap.
2. Multiple grid sizes for the pattern lock.
3. Option to change the colour of LED while charging.
Except that I didn't find any major bugs and overall the battery backup and performance is really good. Thanks Dev! :victory:

This ROM is almost flawless
-Smoothest Oreo ROM available for the device
-Video camera works with pixelmaster and snap
-Tez works
-Doesn't lag at all
-Reboot and advanced reboot stopped working. Wiped dalvik cache and it fixed the issue
-Battery backup is the best on Oreo so far.
-Slightly disappointed due to no hardware button customization option at all
-There is no option to disable QS panel at lock screen
-Weather doesn't display on lock screen
-No option to disable tint as tint is the reason for all the lagging every oreo ROM has for this device
It would be perfect if hardware customization can be added and above issues fixed. Currently using as daily driver and no issues faced so far apart from them

Best rom i used...android p statusbar look soo cool...i wish volume pannel can be added in this rom ...maybe not possible

Bro it is best ROM till I used on my Asus zenfone selfie I changed some files and installed OK my zoot variant it is running flawless battery also great working perfectly thanks bro for this rom

Everything is working fine but having battery issues I am using dot os on my Asus Zenfone selfie zoot variant

Yep bro smooth and working flawless

I got around 3 hours of SOT initially and I thought that all OREO roms consume lot of battery. But today got a new battery and now I am getting around 6 hours SOT in this ROM now. Smoothest ROM till date. Everything works perfectly fine.

The nitrogen ROM developer gave two files and tell me to extract the zip file then replace the files which he given the again pack the zip file and flash on zoot like that I flashed it on my zoot and it's working without any issues best ROM in Oreo so far

Led bug is there.
No ghost touch
Smart pixel feature is for amoled. It wont provide any benefit in lcd display
No inbuilt magisk
It comes with 316

Iam currently using RR os.I heard a lot about dotos.

No comparison on xda.. try the rom and find which one is better for you!

Is this a treble rom & Android P GSI can be use in this rom?

Charging time too slow. Another prblm I faced is music prblm,after reboot musci plays bt after few times music don't play even ring volume, notification sound can't hear.

Notification led blinking bug still exits? I thought it was already fixed by SJK in the latest trees

Same here. After reboot it works fine for sometime. But after sometime I can't play music/videos. Also I don't hear any sounds even a ringtone.
ROM is fine but I can't get rid of this problem. Pls somebody help me.

I am facing ghost touch issue on every ROM I installed. It specific to dark and black style, on light style no such issue.
Also do we need to wipe vendor before ROM installation or just system, data, dalvik and cache.

Im facing a problem.. My phone suddenly turn off ... And now its still happening even if I start phone for google setup my phone keep turning off ..is anyone facing this.? It happening many ROM. :crying:

I'm doing over and over even while flashing ROM I face 2types of errors like 1. Error 7 you know that ... 2. Mount system argument (something like this)

Hi, the rom is really fast, but actually I'm facing an issue, I can't record video on the camera, but on Instagram camera I am able to do it... Anyway to fix it...?

No its fixed just format the system ext2 to ext4 then solve but I'm afraid my device get shut down by itself..its sound funny that my last shot to win chicken dinner and that happen suddenly my device turn off .. Its not that many ROM is showing problem must be battery draining or something causing this ..I hope this will fix soon

Oh for me i am playing on pc in phone the battery is draining pretty fast while playing that's why on pc we can shoot more accurately
