Bootleggers 2.3 is pretty stable as a daily driver. Install AKT profiles and select XANA battery. Install GMS Doze via Magisk. Battery life is decent enough to last a day of aggressive use.

[Q] why my battery drains so fast??

hey,
listen, i've installed few roms in the last 2 weeks, flashed 2 recoveries version,
this is the roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588495
and the second which im using now:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214042
from some reason, I prefer the CM 10.1, he works faster, more over, the CM 11 is not stable as CM 10.1 because it's newer,
When I was on stock rom my battery performance was much better,
My battery in 100% finished totaly after one phonecall or even taking picture with flash light on.
I buoght new battery from ebay, it's shipping right now to me and I hope it will fix the problem.
I have some questions:
1. which rom is better right now? (cm10.1 or cm11)
2. why the battery drains so fast? is that overclocked roms?
3. Do I have to download stock rom for my country? why is that matter? Im from israel and I think that in the stock rom there are apps of the Cellular operator (cellcom) and i hate that, i want clean stock android, I dont want these dirty apps and heavy widgets.
4. which rom is best for the battery performance?
thanks a lot!

I recently used:
Mokee OS 04/11 + KhaN Kernel 2.0 = 100% stable
Paranoid Android 4.3 BETA1 + KhaN Kernel = Just installed a day ago, but seems stable and the fastest KitKat rom yet.
Keep in mind to configure kernel settings for better performance and battery life and disable pocket detection / WLAN notification / auto sync / IMPORTANT: silly google background services using "disable service".
IMO i prefer CM 10.1 because its very fast, and stable, i think Kitkat is not ready yet !!
However im using a 2450 mah battery on CM 10.1 and geting good battery lifee, but if u use the stock batery with 1500 mah, CM 10.1 wont last much , so u need to go with stock or Kitkat
What's the point about KitKat is not ready yet? Performance is better than Jellybean as far as I tried nearly every rom available

Get a powerbank...
Anyway, you could try VertexOS, then disable input boosting. It might be a bit sluggish sometimes but you can get pretty neat battery life.
1 - Sultan 14.1 is the best
2 - Zenity RR is good rom too
3- Pa +Vertex Os
No one will be able to tell you what is the best. This is due to roms not running the same on every device. We could run the 100% same setup and see hours of difference in battery life.
So the best bet is to try them out on your own and make up your own mind.

Plzzzz help me.

Hi I am facing a problem in my z2 plus which I purchased this January, I root the phone in march and then installed custom ROMs on a daily basis, I liked to try out the different ROMs available for my set, then I noticed that the battery life of my phone was decreasing, I thought it was because of a single custom ROM but no custom ROM gave me the perfect battery life, so if I install stock ROM will my battery performance be like it was ?

What rom do you recommend me to use? (Gaming, and good battery life)

Hello, recently I just flashed my zuk z2 to bootleggers v3 rom, there are some bugs in it, and the battery life is terrible. I've been using the phone with stock rom for a year and battery life was better than it is in custom rom. What would you recommend me to do? Install other rom and custom kernel? Root it?

Try aosip with moxie
I currently installed Resurrection remix v6.1.0 and it is the best rom out I tried, good battery life and performance.

Which build?
Let me make this clear.. Gaming and battery life don't work with each other.. You want gaming, don't expect good battery life.. Or if you want battery life, don't expect decent gaming.. Other then that almost all the major roms gives 6 hours SOT on average usage and no gaming..

Ambasadii Rom vs Beyond Rom

Who have use this 2 custom rom ,what is the best for battery backup and customization.
I dont care ,ambasadii rom is payd rom .i want know only from users who used both roms.
Tks,have a Nice day
I have noticed some improvement in battery life using BR. I'm using ThundeRStormS kernel with it, which has plenty more tweaks for battery life.
From what I understand, Ambasadii has its own custom kernel.
Short answer is they both improve over stock rom.
Once you have rooted, the sky is the limit for customisation.
