Fast charge is when your charging, the amount of power u receive when charging is more the standard...eg, standard charge receive about 600 mA but with fast charge u will get about 800 mA...less time charging to full....check the kernel thread on HTC EVO 3D section, its all there...there kernel is more complete that ONE X's...i own one previously...and i know..

But wouldn't it also depend on the output of the USB Host on pc's? AFAIK the official specs of the USB standard only supports up to 500mAh, but I do know some motherboards provide a boost feature that charges as quick as the wall charger. I wouldn't think that all USB ports would be able to charge at above 500mAh?
Hi all. My battery drain when phone plugged to stock charger. I doesn't happen when i use stock s6 charger. Is there any way to fix? I have just used 2 month with stock charger

How do you know your cable is fine? Try ampere app from the playstore check your charge speed if is 1200mAh and above it has no problem. But if its 500 below try changing the cable and see the difference

I have checked ampere too. It is always 500 below. Even it is sometimes decreasing to 40mAh. But with samsung's fast charging i can get 400-600 mAh which it is also bad score than 1200. But charges 1% per minute.
I have changed my cable with another cables and there is no difference on stock charger.

Hi all,
There's no mention of Fast/Quick charging anywhere about with this phone and every review I've seen specifically mention it's not supported.
I've just plugged my phone into a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 power bank and the below icon has appeared. Is this a quick charge icon?
It definitely seems to be charging quicker than with other chargers I've used.
Yes, that is Qualcomm quick charge icon. It supports QC 3.0.
Mine says charging fast when plugged in so its supported.
And it goes really fast. I can watch youtube and the percentage will tick tock upwards every few seconds even when being used.
It comes with QC 3.0 charger... Hello...

The charger I received with my device definitely doesn't trigger the QC icon. I'm UK based and it's an EU charger through an adaptor so that might be screwing it up.

Did you try a reboot?

Its not the cable but power adaptor which does the fast charging

Type C is Faster than traditional one but if you really want fast charging then its the adaptor and phone that does the job. V20 should display the super charging logo when used with factory adaptor.

Not all USB-C cables can fast charge the which have higher amp ratings can support fast charging.
For example honor 10 has 4.5V/5A SuperCharge ratings. Hence the cable should support 5A current.
That was my cable.
I tried with the OEM one again after a reboot and it worked!!! Weird.
Is there a trick to let the display show the charge status (75,4%) ??? It's impressive to see it rise ?
