Hi everyone..
I will go into the main point directly..
firstly my phone run out of the battery then the phone slept.. I plugged the charger to get the phone powered on again...
after that the phone started and asked me for the pattern..
then I entered the pattern I save but the phone says that the pattern is wrong and I swear that pattern I use every day
now the phone is locked and I tried to tap the "Forgot Password" button but it says that all data on the phone will be erased and that will be impossible for me :crying:
Please advice me what should I do regarding that the phone still in the warranty period!
the phone is Note 5 AI global version..
thanks in advance
If you have twrp installed then its easy to delete lock pattern. If you are stock then not so sure.. Anyways patterns dont just change, im sure you must be confusing something.

Try finding out how to access your recovery and then clear your phone with a factory reset. Or you can do this from your hboot. Otherwise you should be able to reset your phone after a few failed attempts.

have you tried a factory reset from the hboot screen?
Normally the default pin for the phone with be the last 4 of the phone number.

Try to give the wrong answer continuously until the phone is either frozen or locked for several seconds.
After that you should find a Forget Password / Pattern button, press this button and it should bring you to a screen to input your Google account username or password (Gmail account).
This step should bypass or unlock your forgotten security protection on your HTC ONE M7.
I have never used password or pin protection, so I cannot guarantee the results.
I hope that works for you, as I do not know why a factory reset wouldn't, unless it's recognizing the phone by your number and continuing to lock you out even after a hard reset.
I wish you luck! :good:

If you were locked out from the moment you bought it, I would request a refund.
Only way it will get unlocked at this point, is by the person who locked it, sounds like.
It's possible that if it came to you this way, it might even be stolen.
Not what you wanna hear. But that's what I would do.
That's if it did in fact come to you this way.
If not, then you should be able to remember your pin.
Really don't know if there's much that anyone else can suggest.

Because a security lock on a device isn't intended to be simply bypassed by wiping the device.
That would be way too easy for thieves.

If you bought it on ebay then you should contact the seller. If you do not get any help from the seller then open a case against the seller and ebay will help you to resolve the situation. If you receive an item bought on ebay that was not as described then you have options.
The only other thing I would suggest is to go to a verizon store and see if they might have way to bypass the password.
like the title say my wife g3 d851 encrypted itself for no reason.is on firmware 10m
we put it on the charger when going to sleep and in the middle of the night the phone was on with a withe screen asking for pin/password to decrypt we never activate encryption on the phone in fact we don't have no idea how to do that, anyway that phone never have a pin or password we don't like put in pin or password to use the phone is too much hassle just to use a phone
well the point is that now is stuck on that screen and no matter what we do nothing fix it.
thing that i try
factory reset on normal recovery because the phone never was rooted or custom recovery installed
try to flash kdz it flash but when turn on again it stays on the same firmware never really installed
try flashtool with a tot and it fails on 6% with an error cant erase command or something like that
right now i turn to the experts here because i search everywhere and no one knows or have a way to fix it other than to returned to tmobile something that is impossible at this point because i dont use tmobile and lg warranty is already expired
please any help to get this phone working again?we already lost all the data on it but at least we would like to save our phone.
anyone please
it seems that im the only one with this problem

yes thanks for answering
well i still cant be able to fix it,
im lost with this phone i never had so much problem with a phone before, probably the best i can do is just called a lost and go to ebay and buy a g3 with a broken lcd real cheap and use the main board on my phone for what i see is the only solution.but just for curiosity i would like to know why this happen because for what i see there's plenty of people in the with same problem and no one knows how to fix it or how it get in to that problem.
I was using my phone like I usually do, and then it suddenly froze. So I held down the power button, forcing it to restart. Ever since, the screen only shows "Google" for a while, then becomes blank; no booting animation. It would restart itself occasionally.
I tried booting into recovery mode by holding Power+VolDown, and selecting "recovery mode". For the first few tries, it would go back to the Google screen, the turn blank. After giving it a break and trying again, I finally got to the "no command" screen, and I wiped the cache partition. Sadly, I'm still having the same problem.
Is this a bootloop? How can I fix this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This happened to me and Google sent a replacement phone. However the replacement phone is a refurbished phone that suffers from ghost touches Now trying to get a replacement for the replacement.

So are you saying that I should factory reset my phone from the recovery menu, or do I have to use the method that requires the factory image?
My phone wasn't rooted btw, so I can't re-root it.

The bootloader allows the phone to be unlocked to flash custom ROMs on it, without it unlocked you'll brick your phone. Read up about rooting your phone first so you can get the idea of what goes into it before attempting it. Once you get the general idea of unlocking the phone and flashing things on it, it becomes relatively easy. There's even a nexus root toolkit on this forum that you can download on your computer for free as well as "how-to's" for doing it

No is not necessary, but in order to re flash the factory image to fix the problem the bootloader must be unlocked. You never have to root your device but having a unlocked bootloader is essential to flashing anything on your device other wise like I said, you'll brick your phone. You can even lock it back to full stock once you've re flashed the image.
Edit: there's another way of flashing the factory image but it requires some searching. You might not be able to do it the way I'm explaining to you Because you would have to give it permission to be unlocked in the developers option while the phone is booted up and operative

When u first bought your phone and it takes you through the set up window, when it asked you to put in your email, that right there backs up all your apps that you previously had in the phone so when you go through the setup again, it's going to ask you if you want to start as a new phone or recover your previous apps. You won't be able to recover all of your data but you should be able to recover all of your apps.
