Hi guys,
I flashed treble twrp & xperience rom and then i tried few gsi roms, but it not booted...bootloop only happens...
Is gsi roms are working with moto z play?
How do i flash gsi roms like Pixel Experience,Havoc roms
Suggestions appreciated.

Download arm64 a only vanilla image from this url.
Go to twrp
1. Go to wipe and factory reset
2. Go to mount and mount everything except otg and sd card
3. Go to install select image and flash downloaded file as system image
4. After successful flashing reboot your device
After doing this you can flash any gsi using same procedure.

I recently flashed TWRP on my ZE551ML Marshmallow and tried to flash a ROM. But after I reboot, the device goes into recovery no matter what I do. I tried 3 different ROMS but none work. I also to flash other recoveries like CWM but they don't work either, only the first TWRP seems to load.
Steps followed:
1. Wipe Data
2. Flash ROM
3. Wipe Cache
4. Install gapps
5. Reboot.
Please help. Thanks in advance.

I tought of having lost my phone so I did a remote wipe through google my devices... the phone was rooted with TWRP recovery.
After the remote wipe now has no rom... at boot first shows the oem unlock warning, then TWRP starts, and that's it... since the remote wipe deleted everything including storage I can't restore a backup.
I downloaded the latest signed flashable zip from here, copied it on a USB stick, and connected it to the OP5T. Then from TWRP mounted the USB Storage, and did a rom install from it. Problem is... nothing changed. Still at boot it return in TWRP instead of booting the OS :crying:
Any idea how to solve this?

Did that already -- didn't succeed.
In the end I tollowed this guide -- took a couple of hours just because I could't see the "unknown device" when connecting it in Qualcomm download mode. Turns out for some reason I already had the driver installed on my pc and didn't need to install anything.
In TWRP go to wipe, then format data and type in yes. Then download, transfer and flash dm-verity zip for the oneplus 5 (it's the same for both phones). Then reboot recovery and try installing the rom again.
This unbrick tool is your best friend
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/oneplus-5t-unbricking-tool-confirmation-t3733012
Just flash latest firmware zip then flash a custom rom lol. With twrp, theres always a way around a soft brick.
I had this problem too. Everytime when i installed the rom and rebooted the phone, there was a message no os installed. This did it work.
1- wipe everything. Then use format data (not wipe).
2- install the rom.
3- select reboot from receovery menu and select reboot to recovery.
4- install the rom again.
5- reboot the device normally.
Hope this will help.

I realized the link I meant to post in my reply above didn't come across.
I did solve the problem with this guide:

Flash twrp via fastboot.
Boot to twrp via
Fastboot boot twrp.img
Replace "twrp" with the file name of your twrp.
Once twrp booted, go into reboot menu. And reboot to recovery again. That will make your phone boot again into twrp, but this time with more rights.
Go into wipe. Advanced wipe
Change data partition file system to ext4.
Reboot again into twrp via the reboot menu ,just like before.
Now go into wipe again, and format system, data, dalvik and cache.
Flash your rom.
Flash gapps (if not otherwise stated by ROM thread)
Flash Magisk (optional, if you want root)
Wipe dalvik and cache.
Reboot. And enjoy

We only have one bootloader.
We have different firmwares though like nougat and marshmallow.
You will need Firmwares S244 for nougat ROMs.
That firmware must be flashed through ota. Stockrom-feature. Simply using twrp does not count as doing otas.
Basic starter things: Have Firmware S244 or S251 installed through stock ota feature.
Then use my earlier stated instructions.
Thx alot it worked & no problems
I am Argentine and practically do not speak English, so I will use the translator and it will not be the most accurate.
I am one of the people who change the ROOM of my cell phone every week and until nothing, 1 month I almost get the "Error 7 updater" in TWRP when installing any ROOM AOSP, but in ROOMS xiaomi does not happen, I have seen videos on which said that I had to modify a text inside the room and others, which works and removes the error but at the time of using the device it does not work for me:
The flashlight, the camera, does not recognize the PC, has no audio and so on.
I can not find any way out of that error, and I'm a fan of pixel experience, I went back to Miui because I wanted to use the gestures they had a few days since I missed them when I had the buttons on the screen, but when I wanted to reinstall the pixel experience came out that error, and with any other room that is not MIUI, please the one that can help me I thank you :good:
You need to flash official twrp recovery. download recovery from https://dl.twrp.me/whyred/ and place it in you internal storage or sdcard et cetra and flash from your current recovery. I hope this will solve your problem.
But remember that the link i mentioned above is only for whyred (Note 5 Pro)
thanks your answer, but that does not solve the problem, in fact I already have installed the twrp 3.3.0.0

1. unlock bootloader
2. Boot twrp temporarily and then flash twrp.img from twrp recovery (always flash latest twrp recovery)

4. Wipe >> advanced wipe >> wipe system data cache and dalvik cache
5. Reboot to twrp recovery once again (very important)
6. Flash pixel experience ROM
7. Reboot to system
Do this and you are good to go
I followed the instructions but it doesn't work. all aosp roms cannot be installed by error 7 in twrp
A mí me pasó instale la ROM Havoc y volví a Miui... después me salió ese error 7 cuando quise instalar la pixel experience lo solucione haciendo el 'format data' borrando la memoria interna.
I performed the following instructions on my phone (360 hours of waiting)
1. unlock bootloader ok
2. from fastboot (fastboot boot twrp-3.3.0-0-whyred.img) boot twrp temporarily and then flash twrp-3.3.0-0-whyred.img from twrp recovery to recovery partition (always flash latest twrp recovery)
3. Format data
4. Wipe >> advanced wipe >> wipe system data cache and dalvik cache
5. Reboot to twrp recovery once again
6. Flash pixel experience ROM
but it does not work error 7
assert failed: whyred .verify_trustzone("tz.bf.4.0.7-00082") == "1"
updater process ended with ERROR: 7 error installing zip file ....
unfortunately I can't install custom rom aosp
if I install rom whyred miui.eu it works perfectly

Were you on MIUI pie beta before trying the flashing?
PE is based on Oreo firmware, if you flash it when you have Pie firmware, error 7 will come up.

Assuming that you've unlocked the bootloader and properly installed ADB drivers:
Boot to fastboot
Type: fastboot boot X:/location_of_Offain_TWRP.img
Tap cancel
Go to wipe, then format data, then type yes, then enter.
Go back to the Wipe menu, Wipe Cache, Data, System, Internal storage
Go back to TWRP Menu
Flash the ROM you want to install
Flash the TWRP Installer
Then go to reboot menu
Change slot (A to B or B to A)
Then Reboot to Recovery
Then flash Force Encryption Disabler
Flash Magisk
Flash GApps
Then finally, reboot system.
