Hi xda people,
I have a px3 (800x480 W) with an XRC2 MCU, which is the latest for my model, and a custom ROM (although that doesn't really matter for this issue). I have a problem a really weird problem on bluetooth, that happened while on stock ROM and now on the custom ROM as well:
If I'm starting the call, people hear me with a 2-second lag. It is infuriating, as it seems that I'm talking in slow motion. If it is a received call, it doesn't happen.
Anyone with the same problem that can help me? Or anyone with some kind of idea on how to solve it?
Px3 (800x480 W)
MTCE_XRC2_v2.84.1
BT Module: MD725
Phones tested: HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi A2
Mods: I've posted it at the Q&A Section, but I don't really know if it was the right one.

Since i update to CM13 in the Tap Pro 8.4 i habe a Bluetooth issue. I can conect to my soundbar but the audio stutters. I can not listen to music any more. It worked on cm12...
CM13 is not stable yet, it was just released a few weeks ago, personally I have tested bluetooth (audio, gamecontroller) and it works ok with my equipment, but I have noticed they have verbose logging on for BT (logcat goes on forever) so that could be whats causing your issue, I suggest waiting until the first stable build comes out or revert to 12.1 in the meantime.
also try disabling 2.4ghz wifi.
sad but...
I go back to 12.1 the bluetooth issue seems to be a cm13 problem.
Hi folks....
I have a Tab Pro 8.4 with CM13 on it.
I was trying to pair a small bluetooth speaker to this tablet and had no luck.....the speaker pairs fine with my phone.
Any suggestions of a solution?
Thanks for your assistance
Hi all,
I have MI 10T and recently I bought xiaomi's TWS 2S headphones. I noticed that when screen is locked, audio becomes very bad on Spotify (ie). Same thing happens sometimes even if not in locked screen.
Output is distorted, and generally is a bad experience. On the other hand I've tested the headset with other devices (ipad, mi note 3, Samsung S71) and audio is perfect. So my best guess is that there's something wrong (hopefully) at Bluetooth software.
I've changed Spotify to no battery restrictions, and set it to autostart. Didn't help. I also visit developer settings and tried to change the audio codec from default to something else. There I noticed that's not possible. Whatever change I do, when I exit dev's page it returns back to default values.
Any other had Bluetooth problems?
I'm on 12.0.15 stock global.

I also had this issue, changing the sound effects preset from smart to video/music/voice works for me but just for a while, i have to constantly do this everytime i re-open the music app.
Seems like there are very few user experience this since its been more than 6 month and no one have answer for this weird yet annoying issue, sad
Hi all
I and two other people I know using this phone have the same problem. This must be considered as a bug now. Xiaomi support acts like a fool and gives the same answers all the time. I am also afraid this might be a hardware issue. When connected to headphone and playing music, hold the phone 60-70 cm away from you and cover the camera area with your palm, and you will see it dissconnects.
If anyone installed a custom rom to 10t, can they please tell us if this problem exists or not?
Hi guys, i have a pair of Apple Powerbeats Pro and i can't connect it properly with my Mi A2 Lite (Custom ROM: crDroid 7.4 - Android 11). After some seconds the sound stops.
I found a similar problem on XDA, i tried to switch kernel and change settings of bluetooth codec but nothing is changed. I think is a hw problem of weak antenna, i don't know.
There is any workaround or solution?
Thanks!
Greetings everybody!
Recently my older Melomania 1 Bluetooth In-Ears got damaged while working (left one) and I bought a pair of Huawei Freebuds Pro because of the very positive feedback online.
Now I ran into a problem. While listening to DnB or german stuff (257ers ) there is no problem at all (or I don´t recognize the problem due to the lack of drum-set) BUT when I get into real stuff like metal and rock, I notice a very uncomfortable noise when the crash of the drum-set is played. I don´t run into this problem with my Xiaomi Redmi 9A, so the Freebuds are ok. Farther my Melomania 1 didn´t run into this problem either. Unfortunately I am not able to explain the noise exactly...sounds like the random sound an old TV makes, but much higher pitched.
Settings are all on Standard in the dev options. I played around a bit, but it didn´t get better. A full reset did´nt work either. I disabled the dts-option while plugging in a wired in-ear...nothing
Hope you can help, thanks
Edit: Nubia RM5G Stock Global 7.15
facing same issue, did you got any solution ??
I am getting horrible popping, metallic noise, and it sounds like they are under water when I am on a bluetooth call. I have tried 2 different earbuds and my car, and it's all the same. I have tried most of the mainstream roms like crDroid, Nameless, Bliss, PEX, and Lineage.
Any advice is welcome.
i read somewhere here in the 9p forums, that is mostly the case with older bluetooth versions devices. 4 or 5 bluetooth version should work flawless?
but i didnt have the 9p until today, so i cant check.

My car and Sennheiser earbuds are both bluetooth version 4, but they both sound very metallic, tinny, and like they are underwater. I have tried several roms, from android 11, 12, and 13, and they are all the same. It does it on stock OOS too.
on oos too?
did you ask/searched on oneplus forums/community?
Sony WF-1000XM4 worked perfectly on OOS 11, and continues to work perfectly on OOS 13 (I skipped 12).
Have you tried changing the Bluetooth options in developer settings? Changing MAP and AVRCP to different versions solved both of my headphones (one of which was a crackle feedback issue) problems, a car sync problem and another guy's headunit delay issues. It's free to change and try
I agree, it could be a codec issue. go ahead and try to change the codec as mentioned in previous post.
I started having the same issue after upgrading to lineageos 20. Music ok in the car, but phone calls are mettallic and noisy. Tried to change all possible developer settings without success (codecs, avrpc, you name it). Did anybody find a way to solve this?
Maybe it is something to raise with the lineageos team.

I did, but they unshipped lineageos for the oneplus 9 pro for the time being
