Yesterday they put a new battery in my note 10.1 2014 ed but therea re some "maybe" strange things I noticed
I usualy use accubattery app and with the old battery I get (power life battery 4623 mAh with this new one instead I have 3369 mAh) first thing strange.Second thing strange..Powering up the first time (without any rechage ) I got the power of the battery 40% ) so my question is (just to be shure they habe put realy a new battery inside...How can be sure 100% that the battery is new? There is an app for android that is able to tell me 100% the real capacity of the battery I have inside my note 10.1 2014 ed?
When I get a "new battery" I neade to calibrate it r something similar yes or no?
Any help will be apreciated
Take care
Helen
PS:After cleaning up my tablet and reinstallimg lollipop I have now at 100% with accubattery 2920 mAh or is getting "crazy" the app or..I dont know what to do
Hello,
I have the same tablet and the capacity of the battery is 8220 mAh. Your numbers seem rather strange. I use 3C toolbox which is able to evaluate the real capacity of the battery from a full charge/discharge cycle.

I just bought two PoweGen Premium batteries for my X10 (they are actually labelled X1). I am extremely happy w/ these batteries. I believe that they actually last longer than my original X10 battery. I bought them thru Amazon for about $24 each.

Actually i bought at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah when on my visit there. I dont know where to find this battery at KL but sure KL got more choices and cheaper.
Now its been 1 day 16 hours since unplugged. Pretty heavy use. Lots of calls, sms, poweramp, etc.. Just finish 3 hours straight youtube & browsing using wifi and still got 30% juice.

wow, 2.3.6...
I got one of those hump backs with a 3800 from china for like $8.27 shipped and it does about the same. some nice cheap options out there if you look! . :good:
That's quite a lot of battery, though it wouldn't fit any of my case accessories. Getting 20+ hours with the latest WildKernal anyway. Maybe it's time you upgrade your ROM and Kernal?
The 4 year model, I got 2 years ago, battery was draining fast so concluded battery old. I replaced the battery it was easy.

It's not to complicated, you just want to make sure that the new battery matches the same capacity as the old one, that's in the spec sheet. Also there is a handy tool to diagnose a faulty battery, just buy an usb mobile battery tester, that shows mah. In order to get a proper reading tho you have to change the device when the battery is completely flat. then plug in a usb mobile battery tester, and wait until its fully chaged and it should give you a reading of your true battery capacity.
Could anybody tell me if there's an build date on the original battery ???

7W4 means 2017 week 4 in stock replacement battery. The first battery that was installed doesnt write anything on but obviously it was manufactured before
July 2013.

Hello,
I have my Nexus 5x since 2016 and I change the battery 3 months ago. Despite this, all days I have to charge the phone before the end of the day. In settings, I see that the screen is use approximatively 2 hours before shutting down. So that's not enough ! Do you have an idea about this issue ? I repeat that my battery is a new one...

It does not have to be battery related, it could be a software or hardware issue as well.
It is possible that some app keeps the phone awake.
One possible solution to that is to use an app ( I use GSam Battery Monitor Pro) to find out what is draining the battery.
If that does not give a clear answer then you could factory reset the phone and see if that improves the situation.
If that also doesn't help then you could have a hardware issue. It happens on some phones, I have a (spare) Nexus 5X here that also drains the battery while sitting idle.
I just use it for experiments and keep it on the charger all day
what SoT were u getting when u first changed the battery?
considering normal SoT time for n5x is around 3-4 hours, plus (im guessing) cheaper 3rd party battery, these numbers wouldnt surprise me.
also, we know nothing about what apps you have installed or what android you're using.
Hello,
I installed a new 2700 mAh battery like the original. I don't us many apps just have social medias, web browsing and youtube... I confirm : today shutting down at 5 PM, less than 2 hours of SoT

I'm not sure if it's specific to lineage os, but if you scroll down on the battery settings page, it may show the battery use % for each app at the bottom. If that's there, try using your device as normal for a day, then check that when it gets down to 5% or so and see what's eating all your battery.
Hi, guys.
I've just replaced phone's battery with this "HSABAT 3800mAh" ... Everything is ok but I'm guessing the battery percentage info in system is adjusted to old 2300mAh value. I'm using AICP Oreo.
What I need to do in order to get accurate battery data??
Thank you in advance :fingers-crossed:
I think you have noticed by now that it all works without any additional settings.
However - i do not think the new battery is 3800 mAh - at least not in this phone (voltages). The battery tech has not evolved so much during these few years and the battery compartment physically does not allow so much energy. (you need to have certain amount of chemicals for any Ah).
Everything is OK, except for battery life... I guess this "HSABAT 3800mAh" was a rip-off.

I'm not sure if I should try another replacement battery.
It's a shame be forced to say goodbye to this nice device because of this.
Just buy a genuine battery, they are available on the internet (about $15-20). I have replaced my battery twice with full success.
Just stop and think a little bit before buying. Original battery is 2300mAh and your fake one is 3800mAh. How on earth you can pack almost double capacity into the same size battery? The same chemistry gives the same capacity in the same size. Simple. Forget about 3800mAh and if it holds charge properly just use your phone. Probably you still have 2300mAh in it.

You can use your current battery if it holds charges properly e.g. no sudden drop from 50% to 0%. I got my battery a year ago from this shop and it works fine https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32870459998.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1ec633edTwqvQZ
