Hey is there any rom for nexus 5x with android version 7.0
Here are some of the features we expect from CM14 or Cyanogenmod 14
1. CM14 Multi-window Mode
Well, multitasking is the key feature that every user is looking for nowadays. And, CM14 is all set to enhance this feature by multi-window mode that will allow the users to run multiple apps at the same time on the screen. With this split screen feature, you can also drag and drop text in between apps, when required instead of typing the content all over again or copy/pasting either.
Multi-window mode CM14
The app developers have to add support for the split screen mode to make their apps compatible to use this feature on the all-new upcoming CM14 ROM. Users can open apps side by side and resize the app window using a slider and adjust it according to their preferences.
2. New System UI in CM14
Cyanogenmod 14 may follow Android N as it would introduce a completely new User Interface that will not include the famous app drawer. If not, then the latest ROM from Cyanogenmod may allow the option to switch between the two different UIs, one containing the app drawer and the other without it. Such UI are highly favoured and seen on iOS and MIUI devices.
3. CM14 will have a Better Optimized Battery Management
Battery optimization has been the concern for Android developers as well as the community at Cyanogenmod as Android devices are highly criticized for low battery life compared to iOS devices. However, CM14 is expected to enhance its battery optimization feature that would boost the battery life up to 20% with the Doze mode as seen on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Cynogenmod is already developing rom for nexus 5x
is there any news about this topic...... if you have plz comment
CM 14 is coming....
I'm going to start making CM 14 UNOFFICIAL for BULLHEAD expect it to be up very soon.. :fingers-crossed: :fingers-crossed:
CypherOS team push new crystal clean update rom 4.1 any chance to create this stuff for zukz2??
CypherOS 4.1 is finally here
A few months back we announced that we would reboot this project in a sense. That meant rebase all of our repositories and starting this project from scratch. We released builds to the community in the form of Beta updates, allowing users to test out the new form factor of this project and help fix any bugs encountered in the process. While the Beta process took longer than we expected, we're happy to say the time has finally come. We have reached a peak of stability and we're ready to start releasing official builds for all of our devices and more to come.
With Android O around the corner, and the project being forced to come to a small hiatus recently, we've decided to fix what we can release this project in it's current state, granted the helpful and positive feedback from the community. Luckily, we have a fully functional OTA system to provide updates across our supported devices for fixes and new features. While our OTA system maybe configured for Delta (Incremental) updates we have not configured it for build automation as of yet. This will come in a future release.
What's new?
We've rebased our work on top of CAF to ensure stabilty with all qualcomm devices. We are still considered an AOSP based rom, just with some CAF additions. Performance has increased by 30%, bugs in aoscp 3 are now squashed, and we took this opportunity to provide a stunning new interface,
to deliver that vanilla android experience. We've added back most of our selected features, with the rest to come in future updates. We've focused on polish and asthetics to give you a rich and minimal experience.
Luna Launcher
With Luna being rebased on the latest AOSP configuration, we've reworked this from scratch as well. We've added in a new interface to be similar to the infamous Pixel Launcher, backported the new Android O notification dot system and provided a stunning icon pack selection experience with abilities to modify the app label, thanks to Paranoid Android. We've always believed that roms should be more than just features in the settings menu, we want to give you some neat bells and whistles throughout the system itself. We've also added new wallpapers out of the box and a refined bootanimation, created by Some One
OTA Updates (COTA)
Throughout our 2 years of existence, we've always wanted to achieve the ability for incremental updates, small patches that apply neccessary fixes, reducing download times and bandwidth. There's only one system that has achieved this properly, OpenDelta. This system was created by Chainfire to supply what we've always wanted. We took the liberty to rewrite our OTA system from scratch on top of the OpenDelta system with updated fixes from +Max Weninger and the OmniRom Team. The system works, but unfortunately we must wait for our genius teammate +Aaron Nixon to automate the delta generation within our build system. So until then, full updates will push to your phone.
Key features
Here's some new key feature's we've added:
- Pie 3.0
- Immersive Mode
- OTS (On The Spot Controls)
- Pocket Lock
- Accidental Touch
- Gestures
- Button remapping
- Clock/Date Customizations
- Battery Customizations
- Feature Reset (Ability to reset OTS based features
- Color Engine
and a lot more. As many may know, we do not hold all of our features in one settings menu, we follow a stock like approach, meaning features are spread out in their appropriate categories. Features that don't have a home will be placed in our new Tuning menu. We also include optimizations for performance and battery life, such as Qualcomm's Boost Framework. A simple framework to boost CPU process in specific scenarios. Boost Framework is available for select devices that can support it such as our Oneplus lineup. More devices will support this in the future.
New devices
We're always looking to expand our roster and give everyone the awesome experience in aoscp. With that said, we've brought a few new devices to the family. These devices are:
- Lenovo ZUK Z1 Ham
- Moto Z Play Addison
- Moto G5 Plus Potter
- Oneplus 5 Cheeseburger
- Oneplus X Onyx
- Redmi Note 4 Mido
We've also dropped support for some devices, whether it be temporary or permanent.
LG G3 D855 - LS990
Redmi Note 3 Kenzo
Are dropped from our official roster. We hate to let these guys go, but they either generated issues out of our reach, or no longer had the community support to further continue development. If you wish to maintain these devices, submit the
application and we'll go from there.
Android O Plans?
We have huge plans for Android O! This will be announced soon in a separate post.
What are you waiting for?
Oh, the update.. right. You know the drill, devices are still building and uploading. Please allow up to 72 hours for your device to receive the update. There's so much more we want to tell, but it's better if you experience it yourself.

How to add Pie Features to any Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat or Oreo Rom.. even stock/modded EUI!
The inspiration for this post came from seeing a few posts with people asking about adding Pie features to a Non Pie build.. In addition, while waiting on my new X727 replacement, I was stuck using an old Lollipop phone that has a locked bootloader. So after many failed root attempts,, I tried many of the options that I listed below and it mostly worked fairly well. So If you are currently using EUI, Marshmallow, Nougat or even Oreo; you may be interested in trying some of these addon's. No doubt, you will be surprised with how well it works.
There are many things that you can do to modernize your experience if you are locked into an older version of Android. For example, you can install free or paid addons, and you will be surprised how the free versions work extremely well. But of course the paid versions add several desirable features, that the free versions do not have. I have compiled a list of apps that can be installed if you are looking for a very simple method.
Xposed Modules
If you are using Oreo there is the option is by using Xposed Android P-ify This option requires some trial and error. But the results can be worthwhile.
Everyone is surely already familiar with the Pix3lify Magisk modules.
If there is a conflicting element, those pieces that make up Pixify can be flashed separately https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-pixel-2-experience-t3757137
Super P Launcher for Android P 9.0 launcher, ( The Prime Version is stellar)

Smart Launcher Pro 5
My personal Favorite Launcher of all Times in Smart Launcher Pro 5 ( I bought it 5 years ago, and I still get free upgrades everytime a new version comes out. The Latest version 5, Cannot be touched by any other launcher IMHO.

VoluMIUI is a nice alternative: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pro.volumiui10pro
Add Pie Like Gestures with X Home Bar - Free ( Pro version is $1.99) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lagache.sylvain.xhomebar.free
Personally, I like Navigation Gestures - Swipe Gesture Controls! the XDA developers version the best : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xda.nobar
One of the best apps that I have used is Power Shade: Its a notification Bar Changer & Manager ( I think I paid .99 cents for the full version) I like this addon so much, that I even use it on 9.0 Roms, because it ads several unique features that are very appealing. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.pns&hl=en_US
Digital Well Being is another Pie Feature that you can add-on with this 3rd party app, Instant - Quantified Self, Track Digital Wellbeing : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emberify.instant
Smart alarm clock with sleep cycle tracking: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep
I have used Immersive mode: for over a year and SystemUI Tuner (Beta) works great and doesn't need any changes made to battery optimization : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner

Hi all. I just got Pixel 6 PRO and i am generally happy but there is one culprit. Battery life is terrible. It is just disapearing in eyes. I have upgraded now to Android 13 beta 2 and disabled all adaptive stuff (adaptive connections, adaptive battery etc) but it is still not great. Can anyone recommend me a custom ROM which will have great battery life? As close to stock as possible and non rooted. Thanks in advance.
If you can live without play store CalyxOS is an option especially since you mentioned battery life.
Cannot really live without play store... Any other advices?

why are you disabling all of the adaptive options?
It takes about 5-7 days for battery life to settle. The best way is to install A12 or A13 with a fresh install, don't restore apps or device settings and enable LTE.
If you are still not happy then try the Evo ROM.
My p6pro on a12 has bad battery lately. I thought a13 has better battery life. It does dissapear very quickly.

Hi everyone, I would like to know if you have suggestions for a Stable ROM for Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. My last experience of Flashing is from 2018 for Samsung S7. Pixel Experience Plus seems nice, but if you guys know of a more stable or a SuperLite version, I would save me some time reading. Thanks a lot..

Yes , the Android 12 versions are quite stable
Haven't tested Android 13 as it's quite recent
as for me , i prefer crdroid. but our device development pretty quite.
For me it's xiaomi.eu rom
There is a bunch of ajustements
For other aosp os's i can't find special features that could make me change
Especially the estetical point i prefer xiaomi.eu customisation
Xiaomi.eu ROMs features (what's not in Global):
Based on China/Global Stable builds
3way reboot menu (in dev settings)
MIUI Contacts and Dialer
Removed ads in MIUI system apps
MIUI Dialer and Messages apps
Steps counter in Assistant screen
More shortcuts on left lockscreen
Wake up gestures for all devices
Option to auto-expand first notification
Notifications priority settings
More edit options in Gallery app
Enabled MiDrive in File Explorer
Google apps support integrated
Removed 5GHz region restrictions
Confirm dials from call logs
Morning report on alarm at morning
More apps supported for AOD notifications
More styles for AOD screen
Raise to wake gesture
AOD notification received animation
Tap fingerprint sensor to wake toggle
Double tap to lock screen
Battery AI scenes
Allowed disabling specific system apps
Importing theme .mtz from zhuti.xiaomi.com via ThemeManager
No useless Chinese bloatware apps
More free RAM due to less background processes
Mi Video, Mi Music, Mi Browser: No any useless Chinese content and ads
No possibility to re-lock bootloader accidentally with flash any xiaomi.eu release
Added real 27 languages translation made by Official MIUI Fansites and MIUI Fans
Added EU T9 dialer support
Added charging sound switch
Optimized GPS settings for EU
Optimized Battery consumption
Optimized RAM consumption
Added GSMalphabet into SMS app options
SafetyNet passed by default without ROOT (Google Pay)

wow mate this is loaded info, thanks.. I'm getting sick of the ads from Xiaomi UI now, and forcing me to use their apps on the UI without an option to uninstall them. maybe I'll check this one out. thanks alot.
Spoiler: Suggetions Detail
for suggestions from others, Is there some other ROM for Mi 11 Lite 5G NE that features bloatware free, and really stable enough? Thanks all..
You are welcome
That's the best thing in xiaomi.eu roms
No ads
I saw also that in the stock rom themes now are payable
Which is not a problem in xiaomi.eu rom because of the import mtz feature in themes app
I love also the timeless aod

It appears Xiaomi.eu ROMs is another Forum, could you link me to your specific ROM Post? Thanks!
is it this one MIUI 14 Stable?
I'm actually choosing between these two, Pixel OS (Stable) and Xiaomi.eu
Pixel OS is quite pulling me because I get to have the Pixel Experience and there are over 171K Views which could mean more users, on the other hand your suggestion, Xiaomi.EU is also something that is already dedicated to my unit, with MIUI that I like better than Samsung's One UI, besides the Bloatware and Ads of course.
Still, I'm doing my research and your inputs are valuable to me because you have already done what I am about to do, once again after several years. I'm still looking on TWRP setups too, seems quite different now. There's this method that I have to register my account to my device through Developer Options, that I don't remember doing on my Samsung S7 before. I'll also have to look on possible Brick incidents, I surely don't want that.
Mny Thanks..
Both PixelOS and Xiaomi.eu are great roms. You should try them both. Plus both roms have zero bloatware/ads.
I am on xiaomi.eu 14.0.8.0 and the experience has been great!
this is the latest build download file for lisa

you have to unlock your bootloader at first via the program mi flash unlock
follow youtube tutos you have to wait 127 hours i think to could do that and you will loss all your data
so you have to backup your photos and stuff
the decent recovery existing till now is developped by Dkpost3 that we thank by the way
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...overy-3-7_012-new-a13-aosp-beta-test.4557313/
for aosps like pixel os you should know that there is bugs and things that are not working or can stop working in the latest builds, this is not happening with xiaomi,eu roms (you feel like it's official or maybe a better experience)
I'm currently running Paranoid Android Topaz 1 on my phone now. It is pretty good and close to stock Android experience, including AOD and animations. Make my phone feel A LOT faster and smoother than regular xiaomi or xiaomi.eu roms.

There's a massive development happening outside XDA! On Telegram, search for Xiaomi11LiteNEUpdates
Personally I use Pixel OS, but considering the switch to ColtOS. I didn't like Xiaomi.eu because I hate how MIUI handles animations/notifications as well as the inability to use gestures with non-stock Android launchers.

Actually, no. I live in Egypt and all of my banking apps works, albeit without root, obviously.
AND, even if you're rooted, you can use Shamiko to hide root successfully. You can find it here: https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed.github.io/releases
