I am trying to use android auto mirror link on my ford ecosport. Tried many things, but I don't get any other app displayed except Sync 3. As per the video I referred, it says it requires google play services to be of older version (12.6.88 or lower), but I had 13.x version on my pixel 2. I disabled device admin apps, and uninstalled google play services, it went back to 12.8.xx version. Now am not getting option to uninstall it. Neither am getting a valid apk to degrade back to older versions. Due to this am not able to use neither CarStream nor AA mirror link. Can someone please help. :crying::crying::crying:

I know you cant install apps from the play store without xposed and root (which is impossible now because of the use of an efuse http://paris.utdallas.edu/ssiri08/Tonti_SSIRI_eFuse_V2.pdf)
But can you install the framework needed to use google apps? like Google Play music via adb sideload?
has anyone tried this scenario yet?
I have not tried it yet but according to this post it is possible.
If you have rooted and using the latest firmware then you can still load up google play.
As far as google music, the latest apk even through google play wont work. You have to get one version less.
I have the apk if you need, I can upload it for you. Send me a pm. Try side loading that apk and test it out on your firetv if google play is what you are looking for.

Do you happen to have the version number? I've tried the following four - the two middle versions (^) crashed without loading, and the newest and 5.6 versions (*) loaded fine, but wouldn't let me set up an account:
Google Play Music 5.7.1788Q.1634597 *
Google Play Music 5.7.1783Q.1607940 ^
Google Play Music 5.7.1781Q.1595424 ^
Google Play Music 5.6.1642P.1595276 *
Any help would be fantastic. I'm not rooted, but there does seem to be some promise for side-loading Play Music.
I've been unsuccessful in getting the Google Play Music apk to work, installing it is no problem though,
I have managed to install the Google Play Music script via XBMC (Kodi) though, just push the app via the Fire TV tool, install it, enter your credentials via the configuration option & then run it.
Hey there!
On wednesday i purchased an fire phone.
Now i tried to get PlayStore to work. Installed it with The newest apk's and now here is the problem: i can log in and it sucesses, but i dont see any apps or categories in the Appstore. In the left side menue i see i am logged in.
Tried deleting cache, data and reinstalling.
Has anyone a fix for that problem?
Can you list the "newest" APKs (other than Play Store)?
Google Account Manager, Google Services Framework, Google Play services?
I did a number of test runs with different scenarios for other people. Never had any problems with the Play Store itself, even on a s#itty, unrooted stock FireOS.
Account-manager 4.4.2. 940549
Store 5.4.12
Play-services 7.3.29(1866531-036)
Framework 4.4.2-940549
Got them from the thread in the general forum
These are not the latest versions, you should use Play Store 5.6.8 & Play services 7.5.74 (1997312-036).
Let the Play Store and Play services auto update themselves, restart (make sure they are updated by checking the version number in the "manage applications" menu) and try again.
I recommend using sites like APKmirror, since the info in threads / posts can be outdated rather quick.
Tried that, did not change anything. Log in works, but still no content showing up

Does it look something like this ? (Play store is actually running) If so, I've got exactly the same problem
Sent from my SD4930UR using XDA Free mobile app
I had this but a cache clear etc worked. I noticed the play store got updated very recently on my nexus. Might this update have screwed things up for fire phone?
Same as your image. If i swype from left to right, I can see I am logged in.
Tried cache clean and erasing data several times, nothing changes.
Ok, let's recollect. The easy stuff:
Force quit the google apps before 'clear cache' and 'clear data'?
Are you using two factor auth. / 2 step verification?
Turn 2FA off or generate an application specific password and try again.
Any other google apps installed before you tried the "Play Store Pack"?
TheMightyFid, you're using the 461013320 UK version of FireOS? sg94 which version are you using? Netlocked devices?
The majority of people had problems on the xxxxxx320 versions, the 461013820 version (US unlocked GSM) worked well.
I tried stock 461013320 today, with the same 4 files that worked flawlessly 2 days before on the 461013820. Same problem as you guys: Blank screen, even FC on google account manager.
If you guys don't have any additional information for us about changes to the OS (e. g. apps with significant influence on system behavior) then I would suggest trying the 461013820 version.
All images are multi language (regarding the UI & keyboard), so you could use the US version for an EU user / phone. You might run into problems using certain WiFi channels (e. g. CH 13) because of the WiFi country codes.

Hello,
I have a verizon note 4 phone. Last night, my buddy tried to update my phone to Android Pay. He installed a new version of Google Play services and now Google play services crashed every 30 seconds. Can someone point me to the proper version of google play services. I am not rooted and I tried to install older versions, but it says that the install fails. It says I currently have version 8.1.13 (2234497-248)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Scott
You need 238, not 248.

Did that work for you. Did the -238 version fix your issue.
Is -238 better or -230? -230 gives me an error upon opening Gmail app. Says something about not beibg supported. Other than that works fine and even syncs Gmail normally.

This is the newest one. An 8 on the end means that it is for phones with a 480dpi or higher display. A 0 on the end means that is is for a universal (any DPI) display.

Thanx. I know what the letters mean already. I was asking if i should opt for 480DPI version instead of universal DPI (-xy8 instead of -xy0) or if it was more optimized
Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I decided to update Google Play Services on my G4 (android 6, stock rom) and since then, all Google apps (gmail, google keep, google play store,...) keep crashing.
I downloaded Google Play Services 8.7.03 on apkmirror and I chose the variant 440 (arm64 + arm, android 6.0+ and nodpi)
I can't deactivate or uninstall Google Play Services and I wish there is another option than restoring the entire phone...
Try a few different versions of Play Services?
Hi, thanks for your answer.
I've called a friend who also has a G4 (android 6) and asked him what is his version of Google Play Services. He has the 8.7.03 (variant: 440), the exact version I manually installed.
I saw on forums that I could try to delete my google accounts (which I did, but Google apps are still crashing and now I have a notification telling me I have to link the phone to a gmail account, but I can because Google Play Services crashes all the time).
I also tried to reboot, clear the app's data, uninstall all updates and reinstall the right version,... but still crashing.
I'll try one last time everything I've already tried and if it doesn't work, I'm afraid I'll have to reset to factory settings...
Can you just reflash the system partition and not touch user data? I think that might work.
Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
Reflash? Do I need root for that? My phone is not rooted (but I was just wondering if there is a way to root the G4 under android 6 without touvhing the bootloader)
Update: I reset to factory settings, now I have to get everything back on the phone.
One advice: never manually install Google Play Services, I've read loads of people commenting that they had the same kind of trouble.
Even if you install the right version (the version I manually installed was the exact same than my friends')
I am using k30i chinese rom handset. Recently i have updated android 10 to android 11. After updating i cant use google play, play service, youtube, gmail etc(all of the google service). Can you please the version of play services? And if possible please tell me the version of play store, play servises framework. Please please please. And did you upgraded to android 11?
Hello friends,
Try flashing MIUI EU ROM. This will help your phone about Google Play stuff better than installing .apk app manually. Google Play stuff work best in system. Flashing .apk will still cause some glitches and errors.
check this youtube video, you can find some links in the description, download those apps to your phone and install them. THE MOST IMPORTANT is to stop Google play services to auto-update itself, and for that you must block Google Play services to access internet. You must go to Settings/Apps/Manage Apps/ then click on Google Play services, then scroll down and you'll see "Restrict data usage", then uncheck "WLAN" and "Mobile data". I also block Google Play store from accessing the internet, sometimes I will allow it to access Internet to update all apps on my phone, then when it's completed, I turn off WLAN and mobile data for the plays store again. This is a temporary solution until someone comes up with a functioning Google installer...Or install a rom such as xiaomi.eu
