HI guys, I have been using these tweaks with my earlier devices and they worked a treat. Now they are applicable to Snapdragon 835
For rooted devices only. Battery savings and very smooth performance

My preferred profile is Project Zhana with battery and performance

It work like a charm

is it working for H930DS Oreo?

yes, it does
currently testing NFS-INJECTOR and LKT is to go.

If you are using the app which One Plus version do you select when the app initially opens? This is in reference to the 1.6 version of the app. I think that might be the newest version?

Thanks for sharing! Are you using any kind of custom kernel or does AKT work with LG stock kernel?

[KERNEL][16 DEC] GLaDOS for ICS

GLaDOS for ICS
Based on GLaDOS V1.9 + Koush's ICS kernel patches.
Comes with all features of GLaDOS V1.9 plus debugging enabled and init.d support (thanks Flo).
Known issues:
1. BT is activated on boot and not soft blocked with rfkill when disabled. This causes only the DEEP IDLE state with TOP=ON to be used. You can manually disabled BT with 'echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/bt_rfkill/rfkill/rfkill0/soft' using the terminal or adb shell, however this will break the BT switch until the next reboot. This is a problem with the ICS alpha ROM and I have informed Koush about it.
2. USB mass storage might not work on Linux machines or older OS without making some configurations on the OS side first; it did work ootb with Windows 7.
I am currently running this kernel with Koush's ICS CM9 alpha 11 release as my daily driver and I cannot guarantee it will work on other ROMs (chances are good
though).
As always I do not support OC/UV and if you decide to do so, you are on your own, however try raising the bus/GPU with Live OC (I currently use an OC value of 125) and with the new hardware-acceleration in ICS you can see the UI fly.

Ezekeel, I have a couple questions for you, and sorry for a slight off-topic: which of the NS i9020s do you own (T/A/4G)? And is there any specific reason why you're using radio image KD1, as shown in your signature, which is not the most up-to-date?

This is working spectacularly friend! Thank you kindly for sharing your optimized kernel with our new and growing Sprint community. I can safely say, that this is personally, the best kernel I've used so far on my Galaxy Nexus. If you need any sort of help with menial tasks, I'd be willing to donate my time. I have basic experience(compiling stock AOSP-without tweaks),so I can't do anything you don't know how to do already..however I can assist in any way I'd be useful.*If you don't need help with anything(which is understandable) I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions. This is a great project. Looking forward to seeing what else you'll be doing with the Linux kernel. Anyone who hasn't tried this--you should give it a chance. It might surprise you.
Open Beta may not be stable and may cause issues with your phone!
By loading open beta you have agreed to:
1. To report all random reboots with associated /proc/last_kmsg
2. To provide feedback on errors or bugs with detail phone information such as ROM, kernel version, and apps
3. Participate in Forum discussions for the beta software with others without FLAMING each other or post useless information such as:
a) Phone doesn't boot (without providing any additional information, ROM versions etc)
B) phone is too hot (without providing any additional information, ie OC freq, UV etc)
The Open Beta system is designed to have the community help each other and the developers. This way, all potential bugs are flushed out so the final released version will be stable and error free. The more actively you participate in Beta Testing the better the final product will be (you are really helping yourself to create a better community software).
If you do NOT agree with the statements above, DO NOT load my Open Beta software.
Kernel 017 Open Beta 4 is out!
https://twitter.com/#!/faux123/status/197752449950433280
[ build 4 ] (back to ultimate again)
back ported Android LMK and RAMConsole from Mainline Linux 3.4+ to 3.0
forward ported OMAP4 DSS Gamma control settings from Panda Board Linux 2.6.32 kernel
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamma_correction (this gamma correction is done in the framebuffer, so it is a SOFTWARE correction, different from the Gamma Hacks by supercurio which is more of a Hardware gamma correction and are totally independent from each other. My own recommendation is value of 6)
there are 10 preset gamma tables.
0 ==> disable gamma correction
1~10 ==> selects the gamma tables
5 ==> gamma of 1.0
to change:
Code:
su
echo 5 > /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/manager0/gamma
[ build 3 ] (back to ultimate again)
Added Scheduler Load balancing patches
Added Coupled CPU Idle engine (WIP)
[ build 2 ] (back to ultimate again)
Patched to Linux 3.0.30
Added latest Google Interactive Gov patches
Added ARM VFP patches
Added TI TWL Codec patches
Added my own SmartReflex Bypass capability! 1.42/1.48 GHz are stable again (this would allow unofficial OPPs to run with SmartReflex without causing crashes due to aggressive UV)
[ build 1 ] (Mainline version, No GPU OC, No ZRAM, No CleanCache)
Disabled Pre-UV
Disabled Custom Voltage Control
Enabled TI SmartReflex 1.5
Updated to latest Google Interactive governor
Patched Audio Codec from TI

Not directly. There were many people who forked my kernels and adapted them for the EVO and several other devices. So it was indirect. I mainly work on the phones I own. I occasionally build kernels for the phones very similar to the ones I own but not very often.
Just wondering, how's the battery life with this kernel? I'm looking for the most battery efficient kernel out there.

Older 016 kernel has the pre-sets at 60, 60, 60. The 017 kernel has 0,0,0 so you will need to re-adjust your color/gamma settings.
What app works best at changing color/gamma settings or should I say which do you use

Everyone's screen is different. AOKP and CM9 both have color/gamma controls built-in... Not sure about others, I only use AOKP myself.
I'm using stock rom ics 4.04. I notice in your orignal post it only works for up to 4.03. Anything coming out for 4.04 or will one of the linked kernels work. Really looking to improve battery life.
Thanks!

Best rom unofficial

Hello everyone.
I'm trying various unofficial rom and I wanted to know who has tried, what seems to be the best.
I have tried 3 roms surdu_petru: archos ics. overclock edition, [email protected] and deodex.
for now seems to be the best in my opinion the deodex.
Some other opinion?
hello all
Hi!
I've tested any Roms of Sudru Petru in my HDD Model, the [email protected] V3 and the 4.0.7 Deodex and Busybox are the most stable of them but they are no Had-Hoc compatibility so I use the ICS 4.0.4 AOKP.
I think the utilisation of the archos is specific for own person so you can test own rom and make your opinion for daily use .
Peace.

best Roms - your humble servant replys...
Hi All
I've been testing many roms the past couple of days, here is my thoughts:
stock rom ics rooted 4.07 - very simple but powerfull and stable. keeping the original but rooted.
custom sudru 4.07 - best graphical tweaked and full rom yet, but I was stuck in some kind of a boot loop optimizing applications so i replaced it
cm9 - good fast rom but still alpha and have some bugs. stay away.
AOKP beta2- very beautiful and powerfull rom. heard that there is beta 3 coming with more fixes. I'm using aokp on galaxy s2 and they rock!!
hope there will be an official rather than beta and maybe I'll switch to that.
ICS @ Blue v3 - THIS IS MY CURRENT ROM. very powerful, stable, fast and beautifull. so far everything is perfect.
CONCLUSION: 2 WINNERS : SUDRU CUSTOM 4.07 DEOXED ROM + ICS @ BLUE V3
hope it helped.

Since I have a G9 with 1Gz and 512 ram, I was looking for a rom that I can speed up the tablet.
I was thinking to overclock surdu_petru version, so I can do the overclok to 1.2 Gz.
But according to you, I can combine different kernel and Roma in order to speed up the tablet?
Thanks to all

[Q] Most stable rom

Hi guys,
I asked this question in a thread, but I think it deserves its own.
What is the most stable ROM for this phone?
I just bought it to offer to a family member of mine that does not want to worry or understand the advanced android user ways
Please tell me which ROM should I install. I'm already unbricked and recevery'd
Thanks
Cheers

At this time any of the stock derivatives ie v20x. However progress has been made on CM10.1 so it may not be long for it. From what I read blue - tooth and battery drain are the two biggest issues with cm10.1.

I'd say PAC-Rom is the most stable.
best
I think CM and aokp support our devices very well
I want the best multilanguage rom also for my P930, which is the ROM with the less bugs, and all hardware work?
I mean camera, wifi, BT etc.. I don't care about rare FCs or reboots, just I want evrything working.
Cyanogen doesn't have mhl working, I don't use BT so cant comment on that.
Lg nitro V6 is remarkably stable with everything working fine, but doesn't have many languages available.
Use wind kernel for best battery / performance ratio, it also fixes the WiFi battery leaks on the latest versions as well as the screen off issues
