So mobile is dead (black screen, no recovery no boot logo nothing. not even charging logo. NOTHING!)
only response is i can hear sound when i connect to laptop. appears under "com7 9008"
Tried flashing again through MiFlash but error. "can not read from port com7"
History:
installed TWRP to flash Pixel experience but after booting it gave error. password correct but data corrupt. reset (blah blah blah) reset didnt help and same error. read an answer online to format partition internal cache dalvik etc, after that i couldnt install rom because it was in internal and i formated internal. copied old miui 9 zip rom back to mobile and using twrp tried to flash. after all i rebooted mobile and suddenly black screen and nothing else. there is no screen light or blink or anything that might show mobile to be ON. please help.
Can you mention that old miui version and the miui version you were using before flashing pixel experience ROM
If you tried to install 9.5.17 and older version then your mobile is hard bricked due to antirollback protection
Just visit service centre and get it fixed, if you don't have service centre in your region then you need authorised mi account to flash your mobile using EDL mode
Getting an authorised account is very difficult god bless you with that.

Hi all , I've bricked this device about a month ago , I've been searching for unbrick method , I can say i searched the entire internet i was unnable to find any unbrick methods , nor new mainboard , I even conntacted huawei in the us , and they told me to buy new motherboard in alibaba.com there's no motherboard there to , I was supprised they to have no mainboards nor support for unbricking the device ,
so my question , Does anywan know how to do it, or where can i pursache a new motherboard.
You kind of need to explain the symptoms before the doctor can do anything, same thing applies here.
Explain what is happening on your device, No response / stuck on boot animation, will it go to Recovery etc.
Also what have you tried to unbrick. Give us some info otherwise we can't help.
I haven't seen any P6 Mobos for sale on Ebay and such, I wouldn't know about that.
Explain here... You'll get your phone unbricked. Never say die

Well , I was trying to flash the CleanRom project , I'have made a post about that to ,
The Instructions were wery clear to me i followed them exactly how it was writen in tutorial.
I have an international verzion of P6 and according to that turorial , ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625680 )
in order to flash that room i moust firstly flash an Chineze verzion which comes with unlocked bootloader , then i did that
I downloaded the rom put it on phone flashed via setteings update software , then everything went fine the process it seelf showd me
completed 100% and in the end sayd OK , then my phone turned off, and it's never been on eversince :A
As of now the phone is totally dead black screen , I've tryed everything it doesent go in any mode
When i plug in the power cord it only shows a red light indicator.
I belive this is a Hard Brick , not soft brick .

The thing here is to get help in here is not about send it back to china so if you have any other idea , your welcome to share.
I have no warranty , even if it had this phone is buyed in china , and traveled to the otherside of the world :it would cost as mouch as the phone itseelf to send it back to service.
Try flashing the latest TWRP, it has off mode charging. Can you put your phone in fastboot mode via adb ?
Not Hard Brick!
Happened to me before and guess what? Tried very simple thing - and it worked.
Take your sdCard out of the phone.
Replace the dload folder with the extraction from either the B111 from the Huawei site or the B125 from here on xda
Reinsert card and press all buttons down till phone goes into internal recovery.
Your main problem will be having enough battery to get you twenty minutes.
If your red light is functioning, you probably haven't blown your motherboard.

Only solution for that is to take your phone to local service. I am talking from experience.
Sent from my ME371MG using xda app-developers app
Can you check if you plug it into you computer that your computer connects to it or makes a sound? That can probably prove that the motherboard is fine and maybe your LCD is broken or has loose connection.
Happened to me before. Black screen, only red led, nothing else working. It happened that I got scammed by a seller.
What I ended up doing was taking apart the phone and I found that the LCD connection was loose. Fixed that, then I saw that the phone wouldn't boot. Loaded B111, B118, nothing worked. I then got B125, and it miraculously worked.
You could try what I did, but it is quite risky and I was very lucky.
I have to agree with goce. Unless you are experienced and willing to mess around with things, you should go find local service.

I think you should download the TWRP recovery for jelly bean from surdu and flash it from bootloader. If you are on the international this is the method for unlocking bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666116
Flash a custom rom next
Sent from my P6-U06 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Please resolve this issue!!
I wanted to try Cyanogen mod (1 3) on my Zenfone 2. Therefore I followed some threads on XDA and 1st first step was to unlock the bootloader.
I followed the method to unlock the bootloader. Which was to download and install some unlocker app. But it didn't work, reason shown was, device isnt supported. I was damn sure that app was for my device model asus zenfone 2 ze551ml.
I was pissed off as I couldn't unlock the bootloader. Which made me curious to find other ways to unlock my bootloader. I saw a thread on XDA forum which explained a method to unlock the bootloader using a tool , that tool is "ZE551ML_Modder V3.2" .
I downloaded it and followed the instructions to unlock the bootloader using "ZE551ML_Modder V3.2". I successfully completed the procedure and disconnected the mobile phone and tried to switch it ON. And there you go, my mobile went into a BOOT LOOP.
I got worried and thought I may not have done the unlocking properly, so I did that procedure to unlock the bootloader again using "ZE551ML_Modder V3.2".
After completing that process for second time I tried to switch ON the mobile thinking it might be ready to install cyanogen mod. But that just ruined the mobile even more. At this time I used XFSTK DOWNLOADER and tried to dump in the Stock rom.
After this my Zenfone 2 literally dead. ->Dosn't go into boot menu/fastboot menu/ recovery mode.
->Doesn't switch ON.
-> no PC detects it!!!
_>> When I switch it ON a screen of death appears forever until i switch it off. The screen looks like a TV. screen when theres no signal with some colors(TV screen without signal will be a dotted in black and white whereas on My mobile it's in color)
I bought this mobile just and year ago, but unfortunately the WARRENTY period was over 4 days before this happened.
I went to Asus service center, they said they will have to change the motherboard and it will cost 70% of the price of my mobile, which is way too much because in that price I can get a new zenfone 2 as the prices got slashed.
I also visited the local repair shops but they are unable to resolve the issue!!
I am very much worried, if any one from this forum resolve my issue then I will be thankfull!! [IMG="asus mobile photo"]

buddy first try whatever is possible to you to recover it back. though the only option is service center. local shops will not be able to do much even though you can try. and about price. you might know it that to make it run there might be need to replace motherboard. which is around 12000. so i won't be able to pay price as you have purchased earlier. i will only buy. when it will be totally useless and no hope for repair to you. and i will be able to pay little bit of amount. i need it for research purpose only.

OK , leave phone on charge all night(sometimes it might start to buzz halfway thru night) !
If not-tomoz , discon battery ,
install isoc driver -- when it asks to connect phone , have it connected already beforehand with battery not connected.
When it asks to connect phone .
connect battery
:good:
Ps , many people were told to return phones for a new board to be replaced and didnt :good:

It works fine in twrp lock screen. Locks and wakes up properly there.
The repair guy said that it's a software problem so he'll software reset it for for me I send it back

This has a collection of unbrick tools and versions of OOS.
This contains detailed instructions also.
Hope you solve your problem.
If not and you still have warranty for the display (OnePlus gives atleast 3 months warranty on replacement), take the phone to the Service Center. In fact, if you have warranty, that should be the first option.
Thanks for the response.
But I don't think my device is bricked, cause the phone is on working mode, but it's just that whenever I lock my phone.. It does not gets unlock on the first attempt. I need to press the unlock/power button end number of times & the phone still don't responds. It gets crashed and the System UI error occurs & asks for force stop & the phone is lagging a lot. I can't even use it properly.
I would still recommend doing it

Thanks for the advice but all I have in my hometown is one service centre which isn’t even a oneplus exclusive service centre according to that website. Do you think they would understand what happened to my device, let alone fix it?

If you got it online, you can maybe ask for replacement

Ask for replacement on Amazon. Say it randomly turned off and wont start up. They might ask you to boot in recovery say nothing happens and they will send a replacement.

Do I have to call them up? Or is there another way?

Ask for replacement on Amazon. Say it randomly turned off and wont start up. They might ask you to boot in recovery say nothing happens and they will send a replacement.

Update, I’ve requested for an inspection service and it is going to happen after 24 hours from now. They’ve said that if the technician recommends to replace the device, a replacement will happen. However, if someone could provide me the msstool file for oneplus 7T, that would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks a lot!

What do you mean for hardbricked? The bootloader is unlocked? You are able to enter in TWRP mode?

actually is not possible, the oneplus 7t is using the new /super partition and on op7t is not possible to flash a full stock rom from fastboot, but you can flash all partitions except system, vendor, product (The 3 partitions that contains the rom), he should boot in twrp to try to restore his device, maybe i can help a bit, but it's something really new and i think the oneplus 7t is the first one that is supporting this.

Super partition???
Is not an A/B partition device?
How2Kritin said:
I’ve tried to install twrp which worked but for some reason I couldn’t root it as it said /system, /vendor and /package couldn’t be mounted. So I tried to restore and installed the stock recovery from https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-recovery-t3976961 But it didn’t work. This led to my phone being hard bricked. It’s stuck on the fast boot menu. I can’t find a mega unbrick guide like the other devices to fix it.
Please help!

I can’t find a file nor a guide on how to restore this phone. I’m in desperate need of help.
I’d be forever grateful if someone can help me. Thanks

Can you try this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t/how-to/stock-fastboot-flashable-images-oneplus-t3977623
So my phone is stuck on this issue. I haven't done anything wrong. My phone was just peacefully charging then the phone switches off by itself then the bootloop happened.
This showed on the screen:
dm-verity corruption
your device is corrupt.
it can't be trusted and my not work properly.
press enter button to continue.
Or, device will power off in 5s.
(written in white)
Although it does turn off by itself if I ignore it, after I turn it on again and press enter or power button it boot until lockscreen and if I try to do something like unlocking, scrolling down notifs bar, and sliding through different page on home screen it will turn off again. It seem like it's crashing. The thing is I am not trying to root or flash something. I haven't done anything on my phone. I only have one phone and I badly need your help. I hope wiping or reformatting the phone is my last resort. My phone is updated to Android 11 and lateset MIUI (provided by the system itself and not downloaded somewhere). Thank you.
Well seems like something is corrupt.
It reboots when you touches the screen(or do anything)?

It's more like it turns itself off again and if I try to press again power button if the problem show again, same thing happen. Sometimes MIUI logo appears and shuts down again it can't even go to lock screen.
Is there any chance you can unlock it?
It seems like your internal storage is corrupted.

At some point I did manage to unlock it but it happened only once and when I tried to open the notifs by scrolling down or tried to different part of homescreen it just shuts down. After that, it can't even go to the lockscreen after reboot. It's a never ending cycle. I can go to fastboot mode but I don't know if I can do miracle with that.
Well immediately plug into a computer and pull photos amd videos from it if you get it unlocked.

Well most likely your EMMC internal storage chip went bad R.I.P. (well maybe you sending those emojis will be more appropriate, but, oh well)
Maybe search more on google, I can't help you more

Do you think service center can help me with this or they'll probably just say to replace the phone if a bad chip is the case?
Maybe they will replace the motherboard with some fee. Or they will try to convince you to buy a new fancy phone just purely because xiaomi could earn more.
Thats all about luck (and problem is on xiaomi side, not your fault)
what's the smartphone model?
Redmi note 8 pro is the OP's phone.
Wait Wait just found some interesting lead.
Xiaomi needs a better way to unbrick its devices instead of Authorized Mi Accounts
Xiaomi has locked down the EDL mode on all of its devices, making it nigh impossible to unbrick a device without an Authorized Mi Account. Read on for more!

Patched SP flash tool!
heh, i have the same phone. reflash yours with the firmware that was on it before everything that happened. but don't flash userdata if you want your data on it
flashing it is simple process

He probably doesn't have his bootloader unlocked.
Fastboot OEM unlock wont work as oem unlock is probably not enabled in settings dev options.

Do you guys think I need to go to the service center because I don't know what to do. I really don't want to brick my phone. But a while ago my phone booted. I set it up just like buying a new phone but after I finished setting up, I just wait for the phone to catch up because I was afraid the phone will just shut down suddenly. And then, it happened again the phone shut downs without me doing anything. Now I tried to boot it up again but it is currently stuck at Redmi logo (plus "powered by android" at the bottom").

SPFT enables when phone is a brick, so there's no need in service center.
they will flash it like we are going to do
Help, does anyone know how to fix dm-verity corruption? I was using my tab normally, then it suddenly shuts down and this error keeps popping up whenever my device boots. It goes on a loop unless I press the power button again.
