Hi, in Settings --> Languages & Input --> Physical keyboard I have several items with "Gemini Keyboard - Bulgarian" among them. When I click on it I choose "Bulgarian". The problem is that input is Bulgarian BDS, but i want Bulgarian Phonetic. Different key mapping, same language. The virtual keyboard correctly uses Bulgarian Phonetic. Any help for the physical keyboard? Thanks

HELP!!! - VIRTUAL KEYBOARD LAYOUT CHANGED to "AZERTY"(French) from "QWERTY"
CAN ANYONE HELP ME CHANGE MY VIRTUAL KEYBOARD BACK TO THE ENGLISH (QWERTY) RATHER THAN THE FRENCH (AZERTY) LAYOUT? Thank you in advance for your help and Merry Christmas!
Hi I have an ATT Tilt 2 and have recently encountered an issue with my virtual (onscreen) keyboard. I am not sure how nor exactly when the issue occurred but my virtual keyboard now has the FRENCH AZERTY keyboard layout rather than the normal QWERTY layout. The layout is now AZERTY :
# A and Q are swapped,
# Z and W are swapped,
# M is moved to the right of L (where colon/semicolon is on a US keyboard), etc.
Most of the characters are in the same place as the ENGLISH keyboard with virtually just the above exceptions.
WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
I have gone to SETTINGS > PERSONAL > INPUT > Input Method (Touch Input) > OPTIONS... button and I see there that the Language is FRENCH!
I have searched and have found no available method to change the LANGUAGE within the SETTINGS.
I have also used ADVANCED CONG. Utilizing the INPUT Selection. However ENGLISH was already the chosen option though the FRENCH LAYOUT is what is portrayed. I have tried changing the language to FRENCH then rebooting - then changing it back to ENGLISH then rebooting again. Nothing has worked.
Again I don't know what changed the layout or exactly when it changed. I believe the last few Software items I downloaded and installed prior to the change are:
DivX Player - SpooNotes -Diamond Tweak - Airscanner Antivirus -Airscanner Scheduler -Wolf's Translator - Irecway RushHour - Photoshop.com Mobile -Writer - and MPlayer .
CAN ANYONE HELP ME CHANGE MY VIRTUAL KEYBOARD BACK TO THE ENGLISH (QWERTY) RATHER THAN THE FRENCH (AZERTY) LAYOUT? Thank you in advance for your help and Merry Christmas!
When keyboard deployed, click the arrow next to the tiny keyboard onscreen. It will show you some options.
From the dropdown menu, select the second from top item (which should be "French" in your case) and choose English instead.
Hello,
I own the French version of WP7.
Most of the time I'm typing my messages in French. Autocorrection works fine.
But for business purposes I also have to type my messages in English. Then WP7 will try to auto-correct my English words into French words, and messes everything.
That's crazy.
How can I have both French and English dictionaries ?
Select multiple keyboard languages in the settings. When done so, your virtual keyboard will show a regional button right of the spacebar. Changing keyboard layout will change the dictionary.
Thanks Tom for the tip.
That was quite easy. It didn't come to my mind to check in the general settings menu.
For the software keyboard I have a wide selection of languages and I use Romanian. The layout is the standard QWERTY, but when I long-press some letters, I get access to a few special romanian characters (ă, â, ș, etc.).
The problem I have is with the hardware keyboard. I can only choose English and that's almost fine. I have all the special characters I need when I long-press the letters, but there is only one I miss ("ă" / "Ă"). This one I will get when long-pressing "a" on the software keyboard, but not on the hardware keyboard.
Is there any way to add more hadrware keyboard languages, or somehow edit/add characters to the English configuration? Or should I just send some "hate-mail" to HTC and wait a long time for a fix?
No ideas?
Do any of you have other language options for the hardware keyboard, while the actual keyboard is the standard qwerty?
There must be a way to "Add" more options for the languages of the hardware keyboard..
Anyone?

Anyone know how to set Japanese input for the keyboard? I want to be able to write Japanese. I've searched around the web and I heard that only Japanese version of the Note 2 has this option. Is this true?
The additional keyboard language packs don't have Japanese as a language option for some reason.
Swype has a Japanese language pack.
I just use the google japanese (google japanese input beta) keyboard for japanese.
Thanks for the tips. I'm actually looking for something where I can write Japanese Kanji and having the keyboard recognize the words. This is mainly for Japanese-English dictionaries with handwriting recognition. I can use the Chinese input pack, but there are still some differences between the Chinese characters and the Japanese Kanji.
If you just need to look up specific characters you could use either kanji recognizer or wwwjdic, both have handwriting input.
