I have a Nubia Z18 mini with Phh-Treble ROM, everything works except the camera but the original ROM really suck so I'm trying to make the camera work on this one.
The issue is already reported and is seems to be a library issue so I was wondering if copying the necessary libraries from the original ROM would work? How do I find out what I need and how do I actually do it? Any help with this is very appreciated.

Hey guys, so here's the whole long story. I've been using Clean Rom pretty much since I got my ATT Note 2. It worked great, but with my job, I need to wake up for text messages and phone calls in the middle of the night (preferably without waking up my wife). So I bought a Gear 2 Neo, then realized I need Android 4.3 or later. So I figured it's time to upgrade my phone.
Here's the problem, almost every Rom I try to put on it I have issues with. The most common issue is that the camera doesn't work on almost every touchwiz rom.
I tried Ditto Note 3 V5 - I love this rom, and would prefer to get it working, but for some reason the camera doesn't work and mobile data doesn't work - Any Ideas on how to get those working?

, but the only suggestion I got didn't work (flashing I317_ODIN_UCUCNE5_BL_TZ)
I've also tried DS NE5 - ButtNaked - but it's the same - the Camera doesn't work.
Cyanogen Mod 11 seems to work great, even the camera works, but it isn't touchwiz and won't work with the Galaxy Gear and I really love having S-Voice.
One other thing, I've noticed some mention the /Data/CFW Folder - that folder is empty, is that my problem? What does CFW stand for - Camera Firmware? - Is there a way I can flash the files for the camera firmware or does anyone have working files for their camera firmware that I can use?

The cam works for me on buttnaked and dn3 but i did the ota to 4.4.2 so im on the ne5 bootloader but idk y your having trouble with it try to look and see what bootloader your on

I need your suggestions which ROM to flash to my LG G4 H811.
I flashed LineageOS 14.1 latest build with twrp-3.0.2-0-h811, but I couldn't use any camera apps (I tried google camera, google photo, cameraMX etc, none of them work). I always get "Camera has stopped". I saw someone has similar issue. However, most users with this room can get camera work but with minor issues.
The stock ROM camera works fine, but I really need third-party ROM to get multiple users feature.
Can anyone recommend a ROM that camera at least work (no need to be as good as stock) but with multiple users feature?
For example, stock ROM with multiple user enabled?

Issue resolved by reflash 20p stock KDZ and then LineageOS 14.1 again. Everything works fine but don't why.

Sorry for asking, but let's talk geek.
I assume this has been attempted before, so where's the issue? I guess a single apk won't work and you will need some dependencies and such. Are those too deep and difficult to find/separate?
I'm pretty sure you need zui framework to make stock camera work, it just not worth the effort after stock blobs was ported.

I don't think original camera will work on RR as it would miss a few libraries.
Give a try to the ported 4.4 GCam, that's actually quite good.
I have installed a stable Custom Rom CFW (evolution x 7.4) OFFICIAL, everything seems to work correctly except the front camera, it does not recognize that it has one and no third party application that can use the camera can not use it either.
I tried to install other cameras but the front camera does not seem to work
Does anyone know why? or if there is a solution for this?
and another question: what is the difference between CFW 10 and CFW 11, which should i install?
