LG K430T Mediatek version, takes nearly 6 hours to fully charge from 1% with the Aukey quick charge 3.0 and its cable, when it reaches 15% drops like a sinking ship and shuts down at 9% (it varies) before reaching 0% . Removed the battery for a minute in one of the pictures, this is why the curve is separated as the % jumped below and above . Performed a hard reset with the power and volume button. Currently running its last update, android 6.0 with the stock/official rom.

You need to calibrate battery
Related
Hi,
I bought this tablet (Tab S 10.5 LTE, model number T-805) on September 2014. In the last month I'm experiencing weird battery behaviour, like the one in the screen attached. I had about 50% of battery charge and I started a game like Angry Birds 2.
In a matter of minutes, the tablet warned me that the battery charge was under 15% and after another minute the under 5% charge warning message appeared.
Questions:
1) is the tablet battery already worn out? Do you know if Samsung European warranty cover battery problems?
2) Before sending the tablet back to Samsung, should I try recalibrating the battery? I have an old power adaptor with 5V 0,7A (or 5V 1A), should I try a a "slow charge" to see if the battery situation improve?
I have the latest firmware, lollipop 5.0.2 and I did a factory reset after the update.

Do a battery re-calibrate is the first thing i would do.

John.
Thanks Thinderbox, I'll try with root and battery calibration.
Update: after a battery calibration discharge rate of the battery seems back to normal. Thanks again @Tinderbox (UK)!
Galaxy Nexus GSM I-9250. Tested with 2 batteries (one original with NFC antenna, other aftermarket clone without NFC).
Actually GNex doesn't charge at all: no charge animation when phone off, both batteries at 0%. Unable to power on.
I've ordered a replacement for Micro USB + mic + charge flex cable.
Before that, discharge was very fast and charge very slow: I have seen charge animation when phone off, I was able to boot Android (custom ROM and kernel with LP 5.1.1), phone showed always 0% of charge (sometimes I was able to read 10-15% but discharge rate 1%/minute when plugged to AC/USB), battery temp between 51° C and 60° C, health always overheat.
Disassembling it, bottom side of board, was hot, during change, near TWL6030 (orange boxed, see image)

And top side of board was hot near Samsung KMVYL000LM (orange boxed, see image)
Inspecting kernel messages, I haven't found any significant error. Only some OMAP thermal throttles.
Hints? Suggestions?
Regardless of the level of charge, my phone will drop to a 0% charge seconds after rebooting and passing the lockscreen. Is anyone else having this issue or is there a way for me to diagnose what's happening?
The phone charges normally and holds the charge if I pass the lockscreen while plugged in. This only started happening in the past week or so.
n910a, 6.0.1, not rooted
You can see the drop shortly after 9pm in this image.

Sounds like a battery problem. Mine performed similarly, however I'm still on kit kat. But it was original battery with almost 2 years usage.
I have the same problem. It is not the battery. Only started happening after update to 6.0.
Hello everyone, yesterday I picked up a brand new Galaxy s9 exynos version. At the very start, the battery gad around 42 procent, it lasted me about 2 hours till it went to 10 percent. Later I charged the phone to 75 percent, went out with friends, and after around 35 minutes, doing nothing in my pocket, it dropped 4 percent. After some heavy usage, I decided its time to do a full charge for the first time. I will post the screenshot down bellow. I've heard, that its just the first day, and it will get much better after around a week, although im a bit affraid, that the battery life wont improve. What do you all think?

You are meant to charge it as soon as you get it 100%. You need to calibrate your battery now and maybe do a factory reset.

Don't worry about factory reset, just drain the battery to 0 then charge back to 100 for the next few charge cycles
Dears, in the first of using my HTC 10 i was getting 4.5 to 6 hours SOT even over Oreo update, but within 2 months everything changes. i am hardly catching 2.5 or even 3 hours SOT for less 24 hours charge set.
i have tried to delete facebook, twitter, Instagram and snapchat; all social media apps have been deleted but still the same, even thought when i finish charging my phone and just disconnect the charger it will discharge 6% within 1-hour please find a screenshot from today. i start to feel frustrated i am using forcedoze by the way, it gives me incredible performance regarding to the battery after the first 6%, and there is alot of wakeups for maintenance during the night.
also when i connect my phone using Bluetooth to my car it discharge 10% per hour. so what is exactly is happening !!!
i have tried to do hard reset, wipe cache partition.
also the discharge rate when using the phone is too high, only by Android System and google service, it discharge 26% per hour, i have deleted the cache also the data for google play and service still nothing is fixed
still nothing change.
