Hello
i am new here.
I got a Samsung A3 2017 SM-A320FL which is locked with a pattern. I need the files from the phone(contacts,images,etc...). No one knows the pattern. Is there any way that i can get the files before doing a factory reset. USB debugging is not ON, nor is OEM unlock checked. Cant flash custom recovery because "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock". The phone is working but i cant unlock it and i dont want to factory reset it because i need those files. Anyone got an idea?
Thanks
anyone, anything????

login to google dashboard with the google account associated with the device, or you can use the samsung account associated with the phone also.
Cheers

Hi,
My roommate has HTC 10 which was formatted by him last week. He don't remember the name/password of google account he used. Now, the phone is asking for google account when its started and he don't know what to do.
I though, I would flash it with new firmware and see how it goes, but I don't think it will work. I assume even after flashing new firmware, google account detail will be ask on phone start up.
so,
1. Is there anyway we could recover phone to normal operation? He has phone number he was using with but he is stupid enough not to remember other details of his google account on his phone.
2. Regarding flashing, the phone I believe is unlock (bought in Dubai), but I don't know if the phone is bootloader unlock or not. How can I check if the boot loader is lock or not? Is there anyway to unlock bootloder using fastboot/ADB?
3. what will happen if I flash custom rom on existing phone(which i'm sure is carrier unlock but not sure of bootloader status)? I want to install twrp first and try other ROM.
and lastly, for argument sake, if phone is locked(bootloader lock) and there is no way to unlock without login to google account in phone first and enabling bootloader unlock in developer option, can HTC support reflash the phone to unlock as new phone, so that he can continue using it?
I'd really appreciate help and suggestion on the topic
If it's full stock, boot to bootloader, then recovery and performance factory reset. Everything g will be deleted from the phone. It should work then, otherwise just unlock bootloader and flash TWRP and a custom rom
Also you can find everything In HTC 10 general forum. Like what to do and what is what and and and.

I think that is the android "factory reset protection" which after reset it need to use the same account using before for verify ownership, I know samsung and LG have some bypass method but dunno about the HTC, may be flash a RUU may help.
anyway, here is a page to find the google account if you had phone number link to it: h**ps://accounts.google.com/signin/usernamerecovery?hl=en

yes i think it is the case. Its asking for google account after factory reset.
a n00biesh question, what exactly RUU is. Is it windows based tool like odin or some files to flash in fastboot.
My major concern is if it is possible to unlock the bootloader directly via fastboot without enabling "oem unlock" enable option in developer mode. I'm not familiar with HTC. I'm been using MI phones for past 4 years and i know how to handle MI phones.

RUU is the rom update utility by HTC. unlocking without oem unlock from dev options won't work afaik. please check CID with fastboot getvar all and post it here, but don't post your IMEI. just the CID . if you have a compatible CID, for example WWE one then you can use the RUU for WWE to flash the phone completely new. maybe then you can bypass that protection.
Unable to boot into ROM
TWRP cant be accessed
Boatloader Unlocked
FRP locked
So nothing can be flashed by fastboot method.
so how to get frp unlock password?
How do all all these different people manage to FRP lock your phones???
This is the one thing that scares me about trying to root my Mate SE.
What causes this FRP Lock?
every restart was taking me to twrp screen .
i tried everything. but all in vain.
then i restart once more
it takes me to ROM.
now i have changed it from inside the ROM
issue is resolved

The option "OEM Unlocking" at the Developer Options is disabled! (Should be ENABLED)

There no nice way to say this but... Any solution at this matter will have costs...
I had this issue... check it out [FRP Lock] Need help to unbrick honor 7X (SOLVED)
Maybe it appear a free solution like a miracle... but for now.... i spended around 40 Euros... I was lucky with that
At the ERecovery is not there an option make a reset/factory ?
If you have that option, you might be luck.... Just Reset the phone and access again fastboot to check the status....
Good luck man....
not possible to flash anything with frp locked and there is no way to unlock it publicly. you will need to use a paid software like dc-phoenix(15€ or 18$) to unlock it. dc-phoenix i can personally vouche for as i had your exact problem with the locked frp and dc phoenix fixed it 5 minutes after paying. it will unlock the bootloader and frp in one swoop.
Issue is resolved

Hello xda i need help rooting my s9+ ive tried my best to root this phone but nothing helps i have oem unlovk but it wont tick it says under it bootloader already activated and when i try to root with verity it aays something about integrity not being successful and the resets all my data and when os loads its still not ticked the oem unlock
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I have a Sprint S9 SM-G960U and its activation locked and been factory reset. My friend gave me his old phone after he upgraded because he forgot the lock code and does not remember what google account was used to unlock the device after it was reset from the factory reset boot menu.
Is it possible to unlock the bootloader...if thats even needed, root the device, and flash a custom rom to get around this?

AFAIK there is no reliable rooting / bootloader unlocking method available
Same question for a european SM-G960U (Snapdragon), where no "OEM unlock" option is available in Developers options.
I've just factory reset it, and am currently waiting for the tedious 7-day uptime period to pass, but am I keeping my hopes too up ??
Please share your results and whether or not it was successful. Thanks!
Well, no luck : no unlock option appeared, and the owner decided to get their device back, so I sadly don't have any result to contribue.

Bummer!!!
Hi i've got a question. I recently purchased the A5 2017 (A520F) secondhand and i want to put a custom rom on it. I have unlocked and flashed tons of phones and tablets in the past so i'm far from a newbee.
My phone has "Bootloader OEM unlock" in dev options.
When i go into odin download mode (vol-, home+power) i dont get any message regarding "RMM state: Prenormal". FRP is unlocked.
Does this mean i'm all set to flash anything without the RMM.zip?
I'm having the latest security patch Jan2020 and Oreo bootloader. Knox is 0x0. Are there any other ways to check RMM state?

Reboot device just to check that OEM unlock is still enabled.
Yes, Bootloader OEM unlock switch is still activated.

Then read a guide like this, there are other workarounds though https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...e-prenormal-on-oneui-android-pie-9-0.3911862/ but don't flash custom binaries while you don't bypass RMM prenormal status.
Yeah this requires a linux distro so i guess for that method i have to run linux in a VM or dualboot on another partition.
However, it still doesn't explain why i don't have a RMM message. Maybe RMM is gone altogether (not sure if thats possible tho).
Anyway thanks for your replies.

Oh, sorry, I read bad, and nothing about KG?
It means you don't have remote restrictions, even with FRP.
In this case, you are able to flash custom binaries.
No problem bud, happens to the best of us. Nope nothing about KG either. I wil try and flash twrp etc. Worst case i'll flash back official firmware. Thanks for the help!
Solved: There was no RMM/KG on the device at all so i went and flashed TWRP and Rise-Q OneUI 2.5. Everything went smooth as butter.
Good, if it is not present in download screen, then in this device, either RMM/KG are not implemented.
