TeamWin's TWRP Touch Recovery For Lenovo A7000-a
SCREENSHOT ON ATTACHMENT
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. TWRP also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
This TWRP is Compiled From Source With Rohan Taneja's Device Tree And With Help of Sandeep Sethi & HDHR
Due To This Three Guys Latest TWRP Is Up For Lenovo A7000-a
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM
You can find the source code for TWRP at TWRP Source Code​
Flashing Instructions :
To install recovery images use Flashify / Rashr / TWRP Manager from Play Store or flash in your current recovery:
1. Go to install, find and select the Images... button.
2. Browse to the image that you downloaded and select it.
3. Choose recovery and swipe to flash.
Afteer Flashing It Takes Some Time To Show

Remember to do backup of your current recovery before installing.

Hi sir, I tried to install nougat7.1 (aospextended v4.3+Gapps arm64-pico) through twrp3.0.3 recovery )in my lenovo a7000.. All are installed successfully (no errors found ).. When hitting rebooting "lenovo logo "appears then comes to Twrp recovery again.. So tried to change the custom roms &twrp 3.1.1.. But nothing happened ..repeatedly twrp recovery only comes... Restore is also samething...! what is happened ?? Please kindly suggest right Solutions ...! Thanks in advance ..!!

Did TWRP compitable with Lenovo A7000-a_Plus device(s)?!
How about unlock Bootloader?
Checked / Enabled on Developer Option only?
Or using ADBfastboot command?

No its only for A7000-a device pal , not for a7k plus. ?

Happ3ned with me too.
Reinstall stock rom . Then install twrp then flash the rom . It works.

flash k3note recovery its same phone but when flashing k3 note roms flash modem patch.

The tool didin´t create a directory under the mentioned path but in X:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\Sony Mobile\Xperia Flash Tool and it didn´t create a folder called devices so I created inside a folder but still nothing happens.
This could be work only for older versions? Any idea?
When I tried to flash it says unlocked and send me to unlock bootloader but in fastboot device is not recogniced.

Hello, if I don't remember bad at that time my device wasn't detected properly and this didn't work for me, updated the drivers and could flash stock ROM, regarding custom ROM, I don't think exists one for this device, I sold it much time ago, it was not a good deal.

Wow nice to hear that, will it work on XA1 Plus G3412 Build. 48.1.A.2.21

Now only XA1 . Plus and ultra to be soon !! . AOSP to be first release , but now i test bug's on actual AOSP based on stock

Treble on AOSP . This is only on my rom , but recovery have problem with restore and after restore my rom via recovery wifi don't working correct .

New ROM based on stock Kernel to be soon .

Will you make a video to show us how to install this safetly? , because 1 Month ago i tried to install a ROM on my XA1 and i totaly bricked, but was repaired in warranty,and i don't want again to happen.

That's all . You don't need more . Fastboot is very safe and you can install boot img via fastboot .

You should have the bootloader unlocked, so you can use the fastboot to flash this kernel. Just it.

Link for V2 is working correct . Link is shorted because is better . I have statistics how many users download my kernel or rom

First one hour can stay on sony logo , but later all will be work correct and faster . Your rom must to be the same as kernel . What is your model ????

it doesn't stick on the sony logo though it keeps restarting and not progressing any further , i am using xa1 g3121 i had stock rom so should of worked fine i think ? . Any way to restore twrp as i used a different recovery.img before and now i can't use twrp either lol

Soo TWRP at this moment don't working . If you have stock rom in your G3121 (i have too G3121 but reworked to G3112) , you must upgrade your device , not only rom, bootloader, software etc. You must upgrade all ... next you restore rom and kernel . I add soon medium rom and know how about upgrade device .

OK I keep looking see for updates will you be able to get recovery working with your kernel and rom? for now I rolled back to nougat and managed to get rooted with twrp again. Frustrating there seems to be no way to get this to work on oreo though. The firmware I have now makes camera pretty rubbish as autofocus doesn't seem to work.

In next releases I add recovery working fully with kernel . At this moment re-work your phone without some partitions to G3112 , and use my oreo with kernel in last version (v5 - v5 i upload today) with working autofocus and other nice functions .

How do I rework to a different model? I'm not sure how to do that

With the same method . I wrote how to in post . Important is the same model not other !! If you have xa1 you can rework to xa1 too , not to xa1 plus , ultra etc.

This is still in early stage and should be normal if some features are broken.
Working on Qualcomm fully-Trebled deivces.
Maybe working on other platfrom fully-Trebled deivces.
8.1 vendor (vndk27) should be needed.
Bugs:
Light HAL(Brightness acting strange, this is a MIUI traditional)
SELinux

6.Reboot.
Normally it will boot to bootanimation.If it doessn't pass bootanim then take logs with
adb logcat > logcat.txt via PC.
NOTE:
IF YOU STUCK AT MI ACCOUNT LOGIN, make sure you flashed permissiver
If the device says your device has mi account locked, then pull simcard out and reboot to complete the setup.
If you're stuck at logo , please make sure you can boot sGSI

I don't have A/B devices ,so I don't get familiar with how A/B devices work,also this MIUI port is from an Aonly device, converting Aonly to A/B image is more difficult than vice versa

I've been trying few GSIs A12 and they rock, speed and battery is awesome. There are a few things that don't work but if u can live without them there's no looking back .
Now the biggest problem for me is that I can't get magisk working, I tried pretty much everything
If anyone can get it to work on a A12 GSI please tell me

I tried the A12 GSIs from phh, Andy, ProtonAOSP and PE. Telefon App Always worked for me

Send mi on priv best gsi for you Flash normal on twrp ?

With GSI u can't expect all to work, just the basics like phone, camera, Bluetooth and such. It's better then not having updates anymore cause A70 won't get official updates from Samsung. Once u try A12 u habe a hard time going back

Use PBRP recovery because TWRP is more complicated and not really ready for A12.
